Julia provided a fantastic service and went above and beyond to make our wedding reception venue utterly brilliant. Julia interpreted our requirements and themes perfectly - all at short notice. The transformation of the village hall into something really special was magical - the decoration captured our personalities perfectly and created the informal mood we were hoping for. Our guests loved the venue and were amazed. Julia helped us in so many other ways too, from providing contacts for other services, helping us to set up the venue (for things beyond her remit) and providing general counselling and advice. We had a village hall wedding in September and were wondering if we could style it ourselves. All I can say is thank goodness we found Julia! We met with Julia a few months before the wedding and gave her a vague brief of a bit mad, very colourful and with a few mirror balls for good measure. She absolutely nailed the brief and we were so overwhelmed with the result. She even did our flowers for us. Everything was perfect from the decor, to the personalised banner, the seating spaces and the dressing up box which was an absolute hit. It was slick, stress free and very professional. Julia completely transformed the space. The price was incredibly reasonable for the amount of time and effort she went to. All we can say is book her…immediately!

Words cannot do justice to the amazing transformation that Julia and her team achieved at my Bradgate Park and village hall wedding. Literally every guest commented on how beautiful everything looked! We really wanted a sustainable wedding, and Julia was 100% on board with this. She gave us a couple of options for budget levels, and created the most gorgeous vision boards so we could imagine the end result. The bouquets and button holes were so beautiful, and have dried perfectly so I can keep them forever! Julia was my knight in shining armour. She suggested meeting for a coffee when she knew I was getting flustered, and helped with some of the bonkers logistical challenges we had. Having her as part of our wedding crew lifted soooooo much stress! She isn’t just a ‘supplier’, Julia truly cares and felt like a fundamental part of our wedding. I loved working with her so much ❤️

We contacted Julia as we needed help setting up our village hall wedding reception with limited access to the hall the night before. She created something visually stunning and perfect for our day, using a combination of her own materials & props and incorporating things we had already collected. Hayley was absolutely amazing! I came across The English Wedding Company fairly late in my wedding plans, while trying to find affordable garden games. We rented 4 games, all of which were beautifully made out of wood. The highlight was a newly crafted Connect 4, which was absolutely huge, and ended featuring in our evening entertainment as we opted for a 'first game' rather than a first dance! As well as the games, we also hired some other items, including a card box, table plan, welcome sign and log slices for our DIY centrepieces. As Hayley was delivering all our items on the morning of our wedding, the venue were going to struggle to set up our centrepieces, so Hayley kindly offered to set them up for us, which she did so beautifully! She then came to our rescue once again... when hearing that our guest book had sadly not arrived, she told us not to worry and that she would sort something out for us. It turned out to be a beautiful rustic, wooden heart-shaped board, which Hayley laid out with a sign and chalk pen for people to sign. It now has pride of place in our living room as a little reminder of our special day. I can not recommend this company enough! It seems to be a family business, with her dad making lots of the props and games, and she really does go above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. Thank you so much Hayley!

I recently photographed a wedding at The Willow Marsh Farm, and it's a fantastic spot. The grounds are beautiful, with loads of great areas for photos. The indoor spaces were clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, keeping the day running smoothly and allowing the bride and groom to simply enjoy their celebration.

We cannot speak highly enough about Willow Marsh Farm. It was the wedding venue of our dreams and a great foundation to build the day around. Specifically we had been looking for venue that would serve beautiful and spacious areas for the main parts of our wedding day (ceremony, reception, wedding breakfast, party) and as well as all other moments in between. In addition, it offered great options for a wet weather alternative if needed. As a venue, the cherry on the top was being able to make use of the two cottages over the full weekend which meant that we could arrive to set up on the Friday evening and stay on site with our wedding party until the Sunday afternoon. It was great to have everyone together (for vibes and also for logistics!). The detail in the construction and choices of WMF are stunning - all of our guests and our suppliers said it was one of (if not, THE) best wedding venues they had been to. It has really unique look and sense of quality, from the bannisters to the champagne glasses. Simon and Sarah were lovely to deal with in our planning stages - we felt supported and accommodated in our questions and requests; and on the day we were entirely grateful for their calm, friendly, welcoming presence managing our guests and our suppliers (and us!) through the timetable of the day. Would highly recommend WMF. We couldn't have asked for more.

We really want to thank Sarah and Simon from the bottom of our hearts for helping us create the wedding day of our dreams. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. Sarah and Simon have created a magical place—we loved every little detail, if we could do it all over again then we wouldn’t want to change a thing. One thing we really appreciated was how calm they both were from our first viewing, and the initially planning, right through to the day itself, it really helped to keep our nerves in check.

We got married at The Willow Marsh Farm back in April (2024) and we can honestly say we wouldn't change a thing about the day. We only viewed this venue and knew immediately that we wanted to get married there. It's so beautiful and unique, and the staff are so relaxed on the day and can't do enough for you. We had lots of comments about the venue and how people didn't realise it was there, as it's fairly new and more is being done to it all the time to make it even better. We had our wonderful wedding day in July. Prestwold Hall and the staff team were absolutely impeccable. On the lead up we were really impressed by the food tasting afternoon, open days and check ins from Prestwold which helped the excitement in the lead up! On the day all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It really was a dream come true and I’m sure we will return for events in the future. Thank you to everyone at Prestwold Hall.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing several weddings here, and the beauty of the estate never ceases to amaze. The majestic Grade I stately home, with its fine architecture and rich period features, provides a stunning backdrop for both formal and candid shots. The Entrance Hall, with its antique furniture and period paintings, sets the tone of sophistication that continues throughout the venue.

Prestwold Hall is an absolutely stunning venue, we made use of the many different rooms for socialising and taking photos throughout the day. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t have done more for us, they were polite, attentive and extremely friendly. Guests commented on both and venue on the staff being amazing, the day was so special for both of us and we wouldn’t change it for the world. The food was also 10/10!!

Lucy, Rosie and the whole Prestwold team made our wedding day so special. Everyone commented on how perfectly the day ran, how beautiful the venue was and how kind the team were. We couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was planned and executed perfectly. We had the most wonderful day and that couldn’t have been possible without the hard work of you all. We felt looked after throughout our day and evening. The food was exceptional and the service we received was outstanding. Our wedding day was simply perfection and we will always be grateful to you all.

We got married at the Hall Barns and fell in love with the venue on our first visit and have never looked back. It really is perfect, and the staff were so supportive and resourceful in the preparation stages and on the day, nothing was too much trouble. The day itself was seamless from start to finish and we didn't have to think about a thing, the behind the scenes running of things was amazing and looked effortless- though we know this is not the case as everything was perfect. The food was unbelievable, with our friends and family still talking about it six months later. We honestly would not have changed a thing about our day and 'The Hall Barns' and their team were an integral part of it.

Went for a Craft and Food fair! Interesting that they had done quite a lot to the actual Barns since I last went! Nice bar and sea area and also outside seating! Great for events!

On a dry day it's a nice place to visit especially if there is a venue on, but as a crafter and being outside is not ideal.
