An appointment booked very quickly. An excellent vet, he listened to my concerns and we discussed the options. I didn’t feel as though I was trying to be sold any treatments just for the sake of it. I could highly recommend them.

Excellent experience from registration to first appointment. Everything was explained and I was given excellent advice and reassurance. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and I thoroughly enjoyed what could have been a nervous 2nd vaccination appointment. Very glad i chose to register my new puppy at the Ashbourne practice.

Everyone at McMurtry is amazing. They are kind, helpful and take fantastic care of our pet dogs, who unfortunately have had to visit a few times. Luckily they are in the best possible care. Thank you!

Always really friendly when you call them. And in my experience I've always managed to get a same-day appointment for my cats which I really appreciate. The vets themselves are friendly and informative and try explore all options rather than forcing you into expensive treatments like I've had at other vets before. I also appreciate that they have a separate waiting area for cats. All in all they are the best vets I've ever attended and will be continuing to go there and recommending them.

My 3 cats are my life! Lovely friendly staff who always make me feel welcome especially as an anxious person! I went in as an emergency thinking my kitten Nala had swallowed something as i felt a lump and she was hard swallowing, luckily all was fine just a play fight wound with tango mango💀and the lovely vet Ade didn’t even charge me as i think she knows i’m an anxious cat mom!😂 Dealing with my animals alone for the first time since losing my mum has been tough so receiving such kindness did more than you’ll ever know. Thankyou for all you do you’re all great!🫶🏽❤️

Not registered at this vets but had a small emergency my dog had torn his dew claw which was hanging off, a little bloody and he was catching it. I rang Thompson vets at 1pm and they got him booked in and he was all sorted by 3pm . Staff lovely too very friendly and caring. Would highly recommend from my appointment we had. Very much appreciated also

When you take on a rescue dog that has had a tragic start in life, there is a possibility that they will come with medical issues. My rescue hound Loki being one of them. I have had Loki for two years, and with the vets help and experience in diagnosing his conditions, he is living his best life. I find that the reception staff nurses and vets are all friendly and will do everything they can to help. Questions are answered fully without the use of medical descriptions so you understand what is wrong with your companion and the necessary treatments available / costs involved. There is a large car park, and the surgery is wheelchair friendly

On arrival I wasn't long before I was called by the vet, I am very pleased with her examination of my cat who is elderly. She was very thorough and excellent handling my cat, also the front desk staff very polite and efficient. I have been taking my cat there for many years and I would recommend them.

Vets 4 pets are absolutely brilliant. They really look after both you and your pet. I knew my dog was in good hands given the upsetting situation. We had emergency and they acted immediately and professionally with effective communication Our dogs vet even called the next day on their day off to check up. I wouldn’t go anywhere else Highly recommended !

The nurse vet Tawny (I think that was her name) was absolutely amazing and washed away any fear of my hammy being treated like a throw away pet like many do. This is an excellent place to bring your beloved pet. They have saved our dogs life after a poisoning scare. Successfully treated him for cancer and have administered pain relief for arthritis. Our dogs quality of life has been greatly improved through working with this vetinary practice and especially one of the vets at the practice Maia.

My cat Daisy was neutered there. Everything went well, and I would like to point out, how patient and kind the vet staff have been with her due to her semi feral behaviour. Superb service as usual! I was made aware of Pool House Vets when I was sent here once for 'out of hours' emergency treatment on my elderly rabbit. When I had my little Westie (who is now nearly 14 years old), there was no question on where I was going to take her and I would not go anywhere else. I now have a 2 year old Labrador too who also comes here. All the staff are extremely helpful, friendly and lovely. Thank you Pool House, keep up the good work! :-)

Glenthorne Vets are great.! They always help me with my 2 lively labradors, Cherry & Willow (who are a handful) and are always made to feel very welcome. Being part of their Care Plan saves me a lot of money, especially with having 2 dogs. Willow has just been spayed ( Cherry was last year), and the care and attention they were given is second to none.

While on holiday in the area my i needed some advice on my dogs leg, he was limping. The reception crew were amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. We managed to sort the problem out, and really they treated me, calming me down just by making themselves available. I'm so grateful for their time, wonderful people. 💓

Only been using Glenthorne for twelve months but they have been excellent. Our dog, Dug, was given first class treatment and aftercare when he sustained a nasty bite to his ear from another dog. I can recommend them.

We had to rush our elderly dog for an emergency and every step of the journey back to him being his old self was brilliantly supported by the team at Riverside. I love this veterinary practice, always supportive be that routine appointments or supporting when an animal is at the end of their life. Prices are reasonable and we are always informed of options and costs. Helpful and friendly staff, clean environment, the only drawback is the lack parking but a public car park is a short walk away.

Our dog spent 3 nights at Woodcroft recovering from surgery and acute pancreatitis. The staff here are wonderful. Everyone we spoke to both in person and over the phone was kind, empathetic and patient. The care our dog recieved was first class and we recieved regular communication about his condition, which was very reassuring during a stressful time. Thank you so much for you all your hard work.

I have had to bring two of my dogs here for specialist treatment and the care and compassion from everyone was amazing. Alex is doing a great job of looking after our dog Maisy. I know she has her best interests at heart and will help her as much as she can. It’s so reassuring when your pet is unwell that there are people who will go above and beyond to help them. After moving house and changing vets they found a heart murmur which needed immediate treatment. We were referred to Woodcroft for this, I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews on Google but I needn’t have been. Our appointment was with Zuzi and she explained everything in detail and took excellent care of teddy. She rang with updates and has stayed in touch to see how he is getting on. Excellent service and would recommend. Yes it’s very expensive but that’s the same across the board for most veterinary services.

Had an emergency with our Cocker Spaniel Bella last night, (22nd December) she was chocking on a chewy stick. In the car we thought we were losing her. I cannot tell you the panic we had. We were met with 3 lovely, calm members of staff who saw to Bella immediately and knew exactly what to do. Within a few minutes Bella was back to her normal, happy self. I cannot praise or thank the staff enough for saving our girl . Our family, including Bella wish you all a wonderful Christmas. 🐾🐾❤️
