Excellent work, finishing from an extremely reliable and quality electrician in Billy. Had a full rewire needed as well as new sockets, switches, light fittings and electrical rads. I’ll can do it all and all the while very tidy and respectful of our home. I can not recommend Harrison Electrical highly enough.

Really wonderful Friday lunch after a long and stressful week. Entered The Pickled Herring a bit stressed out (no fault of theirs) and within 5 minutes our cares had been washed away. Warm, attentive service and excellent food. Competitively priced and high quality produce .Can't wait to go again. In fact, we're going again on Sunday! Run by a small, local team who really know how to look after you. Highly recommend.

Just had a lovely meal at the opening night of this restaurant in Broadstairs. Will definitely be eating here again. Had beetroot hummus and baked hake. Fabulous host and an amazing chef.

Informal and unpretentious eatery, with focused seasonal menu offering quality ingredients, well executed and flavourful, and reasonably priced too. Also welcomes well behaved dogs. We lucked out in that it was open on a Monday for dinner, unlike many other local eateries. Plus, we found out that quite a few dog friendly places only either served lunch or relegated customers with dogs to bar area and limited to bar food. So, we were happy. The bavette steak was tender, juicy and served with proper chimmichurri. Yum!

Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch here this weekend - everything was perfectly simple and perfectly executed, in a busy setting. Beautiful roast (we had chicken and the beef option) - moist and succulent with generous portions and perfect roasties. A very reasonably priced wine list just added to the enjoyment. Service was great -attentive but not pushy. Would recommend and will be returning!

I have used Duncan several times to undertake work at my business, including a full fuse board replacement and some technical work to connect up a gas shut-off system. Duncan came and helped us with electrical upgrades for our kitchen renovation which were completed to a very high standard. The works were quite tricky and required a few visits, which were attended punctually around the kitchen renovation. I couldn’t recommend Strangxl as a company more. As a family he was very mindful of our home and children. The electrical safety certificates have been carried out by Duncan previously and we will continue to have his services to make sure our electrics run safely and to the current recommended standards. Used for a full rewiring of my property. Duncan was fantastic throughout the process. Honest , trustworthy, hard working and his communication was first class. I truly feel I have had a first class service at a very reasonable price. I would only use him in the future.

Brilliant café serving delicious meze boxes and tasty home made treats. Coffee is top notch, as is the service. They have an extra menu for a weekend brunch on a Friday-Sunday, with equal options for meat eaters as well as vegan & veggie. Try the ricotta donuts and home made ice cream, they are really something special.

A new little gem in Broadstairs! Fresh, tasty food made in house by a guy who clearly loves his food and knows his stuff! With a super chill atmosphere but excellent service, Little Wave is a welcome addition covering veggie and gluten free options in addition to delicious sausage rolls, cookies and cakes. The Persian Love cake is a must!

Fantastic decor with textured walls and stunning world scenery displayed on the screen. Ordered two seafood platters and cheesy herby bread - the vegan option. The presentation of the food, the quality of the ingredients and the taste were all first class. We should have chosen a bigger table but the whole visit was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended

Holy moly. The chicken skewers are heavenly. Food is cooked fresh in house daily, a little pricey but totally worth the money. We were served by Dave who was very welcoming and warm. They have generous portions and a good vibe overall!!!! If you are thinking about trying this place, absolutely give it a shot. Bloody lovely!

I was curious to try the popular chicken skewer and finally went there the other day with my partner and it didn’t disappoint! Absolutely delicious flavours, chicken was perfectly cooked and the sides and chipotle sauce complemented the dish perfectly. My partner had the hot stone steak which was also amazing. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great selection of cocktails. Can’t wait to go back and try the other dishes.

Great location and customer service, the burger, chips, and slushie were delicious. I did have a seagull take a bite out of my burger, beware of the seagulls. I was offered a new burger, which was nice, but I felt I didn't need it as only a small chunk was gone.

Absolutely wonderful beach cafe & bar situated on stunning Viking Bay and very close to the beach lift. It has plenty of tables complete with parasols. They serve amazing freshly cooked food and have a great selection of bar drinks including ice cold Birra Moretti, Beavertown Neck Oil and Fosters - all on draught. The burgers here are probably the best I’ve ever had and they even do ‘skin-on fries’ here which are always favourite. You do get a lot for your money here - so make sure you’re hungry when you visit. There’s also really nice whippy ice cream and loads of other ices & lollys and treats. Staff are really helpful and go above and beyond with their customer service. It was quite a sunny day and I’d forgotten my sunglasses, but they’ve even got a beach goods hut beside the cafe that sells A whole range of seaside stuff - so I managed to pick up some glasses from there. I am a bit of a fan of beach bars/cafes and this is definitely one of the best. Would highly recommend a visit.

Great café that is conveniently located right on the beachfront. Reasonable prices and friendly service. Both soft drinks and alcoholic drinks available at the adjoining bar. Food is nothing fancy - burgers, bacon roll, baguettes, salad. They will attempt to cater for your needs even if something is not on the menu e.g. food intolerance. Decent honest grub that's ideal to eat whilst relaxing on the sand, soaking up the rays and enjoying the view.

We regularly eat out with the team and yesterday at Ed’s was superb. Breakfast was fresh, fast and great produce. Fantastic thick bread, great poached eggs and the bubble and squeak is fantastic. The rear garden in autumn 🍂 was just perfect. Service was superb, helpful, friendly and will recommend to our guests!

Can't praise Ed's Cafe enough. Had a fantastic breakfast here. Staff were lovely and the owner checked on us as to if everything was okay. Top quality ingredients and the tea or coffee is in the price of the breakfast. They have a great menu for people who have food intolerance. Well done and keep up the good work.

Wandered into here looking for lunch on a Sunday and were very impressed by the gorgeous decked patio area at the back which was sunny, warm and very pretty. The menu was great and very rrasonably priced. I had a fantastic homemade shepherds pie with chips and veg, my partner had a breakfast baguette which was so generously filled that he struggled to finish it. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Matthew and his brother wired up my shed to connect power. They fitted an outdoor socket as well as lighting all round. On a separate occasion they supplied and fitted colour changing LED strip and profiling around my bedroom. Overall they have been really professional, polite and produce high quality work. After seeing the works these guys completed for my daughter, I got them out to complete some work for myself. They supplied and changed all of the downlights in my home for more energy efficient ones. As well as this, we were having issues with ventilation in our bathroom creating damp issues. They investigated the problem and they were very quick and efficient in fixing the issues found and explained everything very clearly to me. Really friendly chaps and wouldn't hesitate to use them again 👍

Dave was recommended to us and turned up on the day he was contacted, he was presented with an awkward task of wiring in two built in ovens with limited space to position the electrical connections. He solved the problem swiftly and competently, completing the task in a relatively short time. Second time we have used this company and its always the same level of service, he came out on new years eve and saved was done in the first hour finding and fixing the issue. Very honest and professional, came back and fitted a couple of plug facias,light roses and switches, very reasonable on price and done the job to a high standard, will only ever use and recommend this man from now on

Alistair was quick to provide me with a quote for an electrical inspection for communal fuse box in our small block of flats. I sent him a photo of our existing fuse box & he could immediately see that it no longer met the current regulations. He then quickly gave me a quote for the price of a new fuse box & the fitting. I booked him in to do the work & he arrived on time with all the necessary parts. He did a great job & was very polite. I will be recommending him to all my friends
