After a meter relocation, Eon unbelievably left us without power in the middle of winter. We called Paul at PS Power Services who was with us within the hour, and worked into the dark evening to finish the job. We used Paul and Mark for further jobs when we were remodelling our kitchen. I had a problem with my solar panels which I inherited from a previous owner. The pay in tariff was less each year so Jack from Coastal Energy came and fixed the problem by installing and enphase system.. He as such a nice person and talked me through each step of his work. The result was only 3 panels were working and now all 16 are. Awesome service.

Spoke to Mike 3 months before taking the plunge on a solar and battery storage installation. He was really helpful to run through my situation and what installation would best suit my needs. I was cost conscious at first but was put at ease following his quotation that beat all other quotes and included the black solar panels which look very sleek. When I was ready to set a date I paid my deposit and 2 weeks later they turned up on the day they said they would to install. All went well and they were very considerate to take off boots when coming into the house and didn’t hang about getting the job done. I was left with a fully functioning system the same day with the ability to see all from my phone. The equipment they use such as the solar panels and batteries are highly rated online with good warranties so no cheap parts that will fail. After nearly 3 months I can report all is well and they’ve contacted me 3-4 times to ask how the system is functioning, making sure I am happy with the system and also given advice as to what new tariffs are coming out so as best to get my solar paid off. In summary; a great small company that carries out a neat installation with good communication and a great pre care and aftercare service from engineers that care.

Lovely welcoming micropub with a selection of three cask ales available. They cater for cider drinkers too but I came just for the beer. The beer is very reasonably priced. At £4 a pint it is cheaper than the two other pubs I visited. I will come again on my next visit to Dover.

One Call Electric installed Sockets in my shed (Man Cave) The work carried out was excellent, the armoured cable from the house to shed was installed along the bottom of the garden fence and barely visible. The sockets in the shed were installed exactly where I asked and the trim round the door was laid brilliantly. Super happy with everything they did. Would totally recommend this company.

A job completed absolutely on time and to order, with all points of it very professionally as well as punctually performed. We were struck by the care taken in the scoping out and, thanks to the clear explanations (and documentation) that we received, would have full confidence in the after-sales service which is available if needed. P.S. Six months after those sentences were posted, a second very satisfying recourse to this company enables us to reaffirm every word. The latest job, like the first one, was thoroughly scoped out and very tidily finished. It was an excellent service all the way from initial reconnaissance to installation, with valuable advice at either end of the process about what might best go where.

We had a problem with lighting in our downstairs bathroom with the existing fitting tripping the consumer unit. Contacted Jackson Electricals and James was on the case immediately, arriving as he said he would at 9.00am the following morning. I cannot praise his work, attention to detail and prompt response too highly. James is the best electrician I’ve known since buying my first property in 1988. An absolute gem of a place. We had the breakfast Burritos (one as a veggie) which were the perfect blend of ingredients, the crispy hash browns adding some bite. We struggled to finish them! Smoothies were gorgeous. So many other excellent breakfast/brunch options from traditional to options you would find in a bistro like avo on toast. Oh, one option has prosecco! They do cocktails too and have a lovely small garden out back. The prices are incredible value. Just go!

Went to meet friends for breakfast. Easy parking. Premises were lovely, clean, welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful. But the food....oh my days, absolutely delicious! Freshly cooked, well presented, hot and perfect sized portions. We will definitely be visiting again and will recommend to others. Oh and it's dog friendly too! Bonus!
