Great course. Stunning conditions and set up. Has a good range of holes, some tricky and others a bit more simple. Definitely worth another visit. Value for money is also very good with a quality driving range.

Lovely golf course, first time me and my son went down today 8/9. We only did the driving range just to get the feel of the club to see if my son like it and he did. Went to pro shop and the young lad in there very polite and told me there the driving range was. Will be back to play a round when the weather isn't so wet

Really beautiful course with fantastic practice facilities and lovely club house. The par 4 13th is stunning, apparently inspired by Augusta and it shows. Really lovely welcome by the starter who was enthusiastic to tell us about the course and it’s history.

We attended a wedding reception. The venue was lovely and the food delicious. The service was very good. I'm a blur badge holder and my only criticism would be that there seemed limited disabled parking for the numbers that were attending.

Beautiful views whilst playing on a beautifully kept course. Greens in September were exceptional. Nice wide course so very forgiving. Some nice long par fours and tricky par threes. Not that hard a course but very enjoyable. Restaurant, cafe and bar are very nice. The staff throughout were very nice and friendly. Hotel looks like a lovely place to stay. We had a day of rain, so must visit again in better weather! All round good place to visit.

Love this course. USGA standard tees and greens. Drains really well. Second only to Kings Hill in the area in my opinion. Great range as well all with Top Tracer technology. Nice bar area with Sky Sports. Reasonable cost for round of golf on weekend. Better in the week.

We played today on a lovely sunny day! The course is in great condition with numerous out of sight greens - causing some confusion for first timers. Conditions were very dry - no mud or water anywhere except for the lake on 18th. I would suggest some more on course signage as we spent 5 mins looking for 18th tee!!! We will be back. Another round a few years later - some of the complexity comes back to you… a great day!

Very nice golf course. Well maintained and receptive greens. Open layout of holes and friendly banks either side of the fairways, didn't lose a ball all round.

Easy to find the club, easy to park, friendly staff, 1st Tee always has someone waiting, sometimes multiple people all waiting to Tee off. Great condition course, easy enough to navigate, plays well.

Had our wedding reception here 8th June 2024, the DJ was amazing and Adam and Leigh were very friendly and gave us the best experience, however we did not enjoy the main course and the meat was a little dry and bland, the scenery around the golf course was amazing, Adam even let us drive the golf cart to the lake area so our photographer can take some photos of us 2 we couldn’t of asked for more and the whole day and night was amazing, would highly recommend having a wedding reception here!

What a wonderful experience,, no complaints at all. 4 stars for location only because of the poor bus routes. If you are arriving at the train station late it's best to pre book a taxi as there is no / little uber service in the area. We were lucky to get one of the last taxies working from the station taxi office.

Nice course in excellent condition. 9 holes played twice. Many tee positions on back 9 very different for the men. No longer ‘members only’. Has toptrace. Nice pro shop, excellent clubhouse with super helpful and friendly staff. Recommended!

Society day at Canterbury Golf Club. Decent fresh brew coffee and plenty of it and nice fresh bacon butties. Friend had cooked breakfast which was also decent. Considering current weather and lack of rain course was in a fair condition quite a few tight and bare lies. If your off the fairway some areas are rough rough. Greens decent and I putted on them ok. Nice refreshing cold beer on return to clubhouse. This is a nice friendly club.

Want to say a big thank you to Andy at the Driving range today, he was very friendly and welcoming. I've not picked up a club in many years but Andy was really helpful about having lessons and which clubs to look at when buying.

Brilliant golf club, I first played here over 20 years ago and still enjoy the course every time I play. My son (11) uses the club as part of the junior section and can't get enough of the games on Top Tracer up at the driving range. Highly recommend.

Course in good condition, greens receptive if a bit sandy. Beer and golf carts not the cheapest though. Played the Hurricane this week tee off at 1pm bit slow to start with but not to bad, about 3.5 hours for the round in a 3 ball. Fairways decent and not to hacked up. Some nice holes, 9,10,11 and 12 are long holes around the turn and can make or break your scorecard. Playing Spitfire this week. Photos of Hurricane added

I have had the pleasure of shooting several weddings at Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club. The Clubhouse hosts their ceremony room on the first floor, overlooking the rolling fairways and lake, and is a beautiful room offering plenty of natural light for photographs. There is plenty of outside space for group photos, candid documentary photography and couple portraits. The staff are helpful and professional.

We went to Birchwood Park to attend a celebration of a beautiful life cut sorrowfully short, and not to play golf. That said, we were greeted by beautiful and immaculately kept grounds that were being used by plenty of golfers engaged in their sport. The views were nothing short of stunning, the atmosphere serene. The room we were in was spacious and light with a sheltered balcony and easy access to bathroom facilities. All guests were made to feel very welcome by all members of Birchwood Park's staff from serving staff to the bar manager: I felt they appreciated the solemness of the occasion, and were beyond courteous. The afternoon tea provided was fulsome, with copious amounts of sandwiches - quality fillings well presented. We all to a man left feeling much more relaxed, even in spite of the initial purpose of us coming together: I think that the venue combined with the way we were all looked after by the staff had a lot to do with this.

I would highly recommend using their venue for functions as the venue is a beautiful and an amazing place. The staff were absolutely wonderful and very professional and helpful in every way. Shana the events manager was a complete star she went above and beyond to help us all the way throughout to organise our Grandmother's wake. I would highly recommend this venue and myself and my family would like to thank Shana and her team for everything they have done for us and we would definitely use the venue again for future functions. Wonderful staff that made our day extra special. They pay attention to detail and are very on board for the whole day and night. Extra touches like caring for and bringing out the gifts for key guests and making sure the bride and groom were well attended made for a perfect experience. They certainly went over and above for us and are well versed in making sure weddings run smoothly. We returned a few weeks later for lunch just to be in that lovely space around kind and attentive staff.
