Top Golf Courses in Buckland, Hampshire

Here is my review of my recent stay from 23-26 December 2024

LOCATION

The Bel and Dragon Churt is situated in the middle of peaceful countryside yet only a 15 minute drive to Farnham making it ideal for a great base for touring the Surrey countryside

HOTEL

The hotel has just been refurbished so looking very fresh and welcoming. I stayed in two rooms Darcy and Wickham which were well appointed and clean with comfortable beds and powerful showers.

DINING AND BAR

I enjoyed an excellent breakfast every day with a good choice of options depending on how you were feeling! Excellent service from a friendly team providing a high quality experience.

I had dinner with my son one night which we both enjoyed which was made special by the friendly service and the excellent quality of the food which was served.

We all enjoyed some good time in the bar which had a great Christmas atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff.
MANAGEMENT AND STAFF SERVICE

Graeme leads a friendly and caring team who went out of their way to make my stay perfect - nothing was too much trouble.

OVERALL

A great place to say particularly if you are traveling alone as you are given a very warm welcome and treated as a member of the family. Lovely warm atmosphere full of happy and friendly people who want you to feel really special and have a fantastic time which I did!

Great place to meet friends fir a fantastic cut of beef ..

A little off the beaten track but worth a detor or a trip in itself.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere in a classic, rural setting.

Highly recommend

This was our first trip having driven past it so many times. Kicking ourselves following our visit today. Beautiful location, with a really cosy but classic interior design. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was top class. Will certainly be returning!
