Lovely little course nestled away in the country. Quiet and peaceful with gorgeous, fast playing greens with some wide fairways with challenging protected Par 3s. Highly recommend.

This is a great course for beginners, seniors, juniors or anyone with mobility issues that still want to be able to play the game. It’s also a good place to practice through the winter months when other courses become too muddy to play. I’m a single figure handicap and usually carry just 4 or 5 clubs and make the most of the course, leave the driver at home 3/4 iron is plenty here. Theres not much scope to improve or lengthen the course other than to put another few holes in another field. I’d love to see that, would be a good candidate for the 12 hole golf course, although unlikely.

This is a course that regularly gets plaudits from top 100 golf course lists, and it's easy to see why. The setting is scenic, it has all the practise facilities you could ask for, and the course itself is the star of the show. The greens had recently been treated, but didn't look too far away from being excellent again. The tees were good, and the fairways were just about holding up to the pressures of the summer heatwave we've been going through. There are lots of nicely shaped holes, and a good mix of short and long par 4's. It's also pretty friendly from the tee, so can be played by all levels of handicap. Add in the excellent clubhouse and friendly members (the ones I spoke to were anyway), and you've ticked all of the boxes. Highly recommended.

We visited here with our Society. A very good course, well maintained and the food was also extremely good. Feedback from our Society’s members was 100% positive. We will be booking next year and many years to come

Nice, well maintained course with friendly welcome for visitors. Drains well, so recommended for winter/Spring in particular. Some challenging holes, particularly those hitting to elevated greens, often with good bunkering too. Some of the “newer” holes further from the clubhouse were less interesting - they are well established after several decades but lacked a bit of character. Nice terrace to catch some sun and watch balls trickle off the tricky final green.

We have just held a reception here for my late Uncle and I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for a very well organised event from start to finish. From the planning stage to the delivery everything went perfectly. The service from the team of waiters serving to the cooks preparing and everything in between. My Son treated me to a round at Stoneham for Father's day and I wasn't disappointed at all. It has to be one of the best courses I have ever played. Great variety of holes and some great birdie chances to be had on some of the shorter par 4's and 5's. The greens ran true and were in mint condition as was the rest of the course. The 18th was awesome with so much danger if you miss hit your ball and a brilliant final hole to end your round. Easily 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from us and hopefully be back again this year for another game.

Played in a charity day here (and have done for several years). A really good course, challenging yet forgiving (on a couple of holes atleast) the course was in great condition, the staff helped run the day efficiently and all in all it was a good day raising money for a local charity. Would recommend playing here anytime, we were lucky with the weather today, however I have played when it is wet and the course drains really well. Enjoy!

Fairways lovely, green are nice and quick although most quite flat. Course generally is in very good condition. Lovey setting too. We arrived and ignored at the shop for a fair few minutes. Tip - however busy people are, please encourage them to acknowledge your existence and say you’ll be with you shortly. Nothing worse than a visitor not feeling welcome

The golf courses are alright for the cost good yardage, views and the greens are ok. However the food is excellent well worth a visit, a warm and welcoming unusual clubhouse.

I played at the beginning of November, after some bad weather, so I was not expecting the best quality of course. I was wrong. No plugging, Tee boxes used but still good condition. Fairways clear of leaves and genuinely great greens. We played here as a lot of other courses in the area had temp greens and winter matts already. Good variety of holes, especially the back nine. Lots of challenges, some elevation changes and some water to miss. Pace of play was good and a nice little pro shop. Nice snacks and drinks at the bar just off the 18th

We got married here in November 2024! It was the most perfect day and we were glad we booked East Horton! A special thank you to Ellie, the ceremony and wedding breakfast decor looked brilliant! We loved the food choices and had so much feedback from guests about how good the food was! The grounds of the venue were stunning and very autumnal! It was all just perfect, thank you!!

My husband & I got married here in June 2024. We couldn’t fault East Horton at all. From the planning leading up to the big day, to the day itself, everything was perfect. Came in for lunch with my husband last month and it was amazing. We sat outside in the sun and had a glass of wine watching the world go by. Dave had the fish of the day (fish and chips) and I had the mushroom pasta. We shared some arancini also. The food and service was incredible and we will definitely be back soon!

We recently had our wedding day at Blacknest and could not have asked for a better day! A lot of that was down to the amazing staff they have there, and a very special mention to Vicky and Georgia who brought everything together! The team went above and beyond to make everything we asked for happen and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it! me and my nephew played on Wednesday,,,,,, I only been playing 9 months,,,, Great up,,,,friendly staff on arrival, Course was tidy,the maintenance team were out redoing the bunkers,,, they green keepers were in and around most hole on the way out but communicated well so we can play through,,, Good mix of tech and the occasional long hole,,, We both really enjoyed it,,,😁 Will definitely return as the vibe was great,,,, Many thanks Weybrook park,,

Played this lovely course on February 5th....it was in super nick, unbelievably dry and firm under foot, greens running true and excellent tee boxes. Certainly a hidden gem in Hampshire and great value for money!!

Great little golf club. It was very wet the day I played (see pic) but once I was out in the course it was clear that the drainage was overly good as I hardly spotted a puddle and play was really good. Except in the bunkers of course, but they were redoing them anyway, probably for this exact reason. Anyway, great facility and will be back. Good selection of beers in the clubhouse and Lasagne was plentiful and spot on after a wettish round of play. Highly recommend 👍

A great value for a golf weekend from London. The course is enjoyable with some challenging traps—our group took about five hours to finish 18 holes. The next day, a tournament caused delays, and slow play ahead meant we only got through half the course. The hotel rooms are spacious, dinner was decent, but breakfast was a letdown. Overall, still a solid and affordable option for a golf getaway.

Firstly I give a 5 if someone or a business goes the extra bit, Sandford Springs you have earned a 5 and well deserved. We booked for New Year’s Eve dinner & overnight stay. When we arrived checking in was very pleasant friendly welcoming staff on reception. We were given our room number and key card the receptionist said the cards will open either door, my wife and I were a bit confused but thought nothing of it. We entered the room to find large table, sofa, tv extra,but no bed? Then we entered the room properly and went through a pair of double doors to find the bedroom. WOW blown away they had given us the Wolverton Suite. Evening 4 course meal and service was fantastic well worth the trip. One little niggle as the hotel was full could of done with one more member of staff at breakfast as the two lads worked their socks off. Once again thank you too all the worked New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day magic start to 2025.

We had agreat day at the Hampshire today. The course was in very good condition. Bunkers were nicely raked Tees and Green were very good but the fairways were superb. The staff were very helpful and the other players on the course and in the bar were very polite.
