Course generally in good condition with very good greens. A very hard walk on the back 9 with elevation changes and large distances between some greens and tees. Quite dangerous in places hitting over greens and also greens near tees. Friendly clubhouse with good price food and drinks.

V friendly Golf Club, with a lovely terrace. The food particularly Sunday dinner is great value.

Went hear for a meal the food was great the service very good the only thing I found issues with was parking there was no disabled parking and the parking bays so tight one could not open the car door without hitting another vehicle

Not played pike fold before but I was pleasantly surprised and really impressed with the course - good design and routing of holes. It was in really good condition and the greens were superb - excellent pace and roll to them. Was quite busy for a Monday morning but pace of play was fine. Enjoyed a pint afterwards, and staff and members that we met were friendly. Would definitely go back and play there again.

Played the seniors open and the course was in good condition particularly the greens. Fairly generous off the tees but with a few hazards dotted about. Everyone very friendly in pro shop and clubhouse. Well worth a visit.

Played as a reciprocal, this is a great challenging course, very well looked after and not a boring hole in sight. Lovely breakfast and coffee £7.50 and the assistant pro was a decent lad. Will definitely play it again.

I recently held my 80th birthday celebration for approximately 50 guests in the Function Room at the club. I want to compliment the club caterers "Chip and Sip" and the club bar staff on their service and friendliness in providing a magnificent Hot and Cold buffet, the food was excellent and plentiful, all fresh and prepared and cooked in the Club house kitchen. Everyone was impressed with the quality of the food and the bar service. I would thoroughly recommend Pike Fold Golf Club as an ideal venue for any kind of social function.

Went to a private party. It was a great venue and a beautiful location. The staff were exceptional, the buffet was good and the venue was very accommodating regarding the room decocorations.

Society day, really enjoyed it, nice course. Captain of club, what a nice chap seen us all tee off, give us some insights of the course and was still there to see us all in + prior to our meals before seeing us off home, thanking us for going to his club on the day, and saying he'd wishing we'd go back again in the future. Thank you very much 👌

We were here for a family members christening celebration. Lovely staff, very welcoming especially the ladies serving teas/coffees in the kitchen, very smiley, friendly & helpful nothing clearly was too much trouble. The food was lovely, very nicely presented, very tasty & great range of food. The heating was on ..so pleased because it was a cold day, so very grateful for that. Clean, nice toilet facilities.

Spent a great afternoon here with our daughters and friends. The course is brilliant with such amazing attention to detail and really creative ideas. Waterfalls, a cave and lots of authentic Australian details. So much better than other adventure golf courses I’ve done previously. Friendly staff and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Really good value for money as it took us close to a couple of hours to complete. A fabulous afternoon out for all ages!

Visited the newly opened Australia themed Crazy Golf, it was absolutely fabulous. I cannot rave enough about this! The courses are amazing, beautifully built, with such detail and the courses are challenging and really good fun. The finish is top notch and so much fun. There are all the major landmarks, animals and novelties of Australia. A definite must. We played a family of 4, it took 1hr 10mins to get around, with only a small wait at one of the holes, but this gave us chance to lap up the scenery.

I went to the mini golf with my two children aged 6 and 4. They loved it! Amazing course, the girls didn't get bored and played until the end still wanting more! Kept entertained by all of the props around the course and the Australian facts. Definitely returning customers.

Great practise facility with a real family feel to it. The 9 hole Par 3 course is really well maintained, with very unforgiving rough all year round. There is also a really well kept putting and chipping green. Plus the trackman system helps you keep upto speed with how you are coming along.

I've been a member here for a number of years now. I may be a little bit biased, but I think that it is a wonderful course. I would recommend this course to anyone visiting the High Peak ,and fancying a knock.

Our Society recently had a golf day at Chapel en le frith Golf Club and were overwhelmed with how great an experience it was. Breakfast, Diner and Tea all included in the price, coffee on arrival, one 18 hole round and a 9 hole round. The club captain came in to greet us even though he was injured and gave us some good information on the course. The course is amazingly maintained, Tee Boxes, Fairways and greens are all really well maintained and look great, the views from the course are breath-taking. Fairways are very open however the course is very challenging and will test your golf skill. Buggy hire is exceptionally reasonably priced. the food was prepared really well and tasted great. the whole group couldn't find a single complaint throughout the whole course. 10/10 - Hope to see you all again soon !

Held my Dad's wake at the golf club on Monday 3rd February, couldn't fault it had the hot sandwiches and chips, they were fantastic great quality meat on the sandwiches and plenty of it, cakes were delicious. Upstairs room was great. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, would definitely recommend.

We went to Prestbury for an exchange day. The golf course was in fantastic condition. Fairways and greens all top notch. We had a super fun round of golf, constantly admiring the course. The catering however was above and beyond. For our meal the chef had prepared a whole salmon which he served up to us individually. He'd prepared a ham joint which was sliced and presented beatofully. All was accompanied with what I belive to be home made hollandaise and tartar sauces new potatoes and a salad of seasonal veg. To follow there was an impressive display of gorgeous desserts. At least 3 different types of home made custards, creme brulee, lemon custard tart, and a creme Anglaise. Also a couple of fantastic meringue roulades. It was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Prestbury for the best day.

Played in the seniors open yesterday. First time visitors and hopefully not the last. The course is a very good layout with a good mix of holes and in very good condition. The greens were immaculate and very difficult to read. Only 2 small negatives. One was the bunkers were we hit the matting under the sand on more than one occasion. Also the pace of play with the round taking 4 hours and 45 minutes. Catering open till 9pm which meant we could get food after the round which was very good. A very enjoyable day and well worth a visit.

A group of us played here as part of a away day. We were welcomed by several members of the management team and staff on arrival. They made a real fuss of us and we were made to feel right at home. We had bacon sandwiches which are spot on before playing 18 holes. The course has recently undergone renovation which has included re-doing all the bunkers. It was a good challenge and we all really enjoyed it. Following the game we had a lamb dinner which was superb. I can't wait to play here again.

We came here for a wake and the clubhouse catered. The food was incredible. Service was great. The golf course is in a wonderful spot

A lovely little nine hole course with each hole providing its own challenges. Some lovely views as well. Reasonable cost to play and you can do nine or eighteen holes. It is quite hilly but that's part of the charm,just come prepared.

I have just joined this club and I was nervous as I am quite a new player but everyone has been friendly and welcoming, I feel informed on the course and events that are happening. The course is great and I am looking forward to playing more and in the Summer getting my handicap. I have eaten here in the past and it has been delicious, staff are friendly too.

A lovely, pretty course. Obviously gorgeous in today's sunshine. Quite testing, but had a thoroughly great morning. Nice, friendly bar staff. Can't wait to get back at some point very soon. A little problematic with holes crossing over each other, but with no time constraint, wasn't a problem for our 4-ball

Absolutely delicious Sunday dinner 🍽 😋 Couldn't fault anything. Very hearty portion of meat(s) and help yourself to the rest. Spotlessly clean tables set out nicely with crisp white table linen. Reasonably priced food too 😋

A great test of golf with some of the best greens in the area, coupled with spectacular views and a fantastic clubhouse, Mellor is well worth a visit

Our recent society trip here. Feed back from all our 26 players was very good. Some lovely views as you make your way up towards the 12th, greens were massive and extremely quick. Deceiving too. Looks to break one way goes the opposite. Shop Pro was very easy to deal with , even gave us all a course booklet, the hospitality staff were good too. I'd highly recommend this place to people and certainly go back especially for the cost. Very very reasonable. We've paid a lot more for worse courses over the years.

What a great course, very well kept and maintained, hole layout is great. Would highly recommend getting a kart. Booked back on, for what won't be the last time. Highly impressed.

Stunning golf club with a fantastic variety of holes to keep your interest up right up to the 19th. There are some signature holes here with magnificent views. The greens were awesome, consistent and fast. Can’t ask for more. Will definitely revisit.

Had a family party at this venue in the clubhouse. Janine was really helpful in arranging the night and setting up. Food was fantastic and good portions. I would recommend this highly. All my family and friends had a great time.

A great course with lots of variety through the 18 holes. One of the best courses in Tameside. Par 3 holes all have a familiar layout and a good chance to score well; although the view from tee to green can be disconcerting, especially the 18th. The 6th hole, an uphill par 4, needs a tee shot placed centre-right of the fairway to open up a compact, secure green. Yardage markers in the centre of the fairway on par 4 and 5 holes a useful reference for visiting players. Greens in good condition and running true despite the quantity of pitch marks! The course is well kept: dog walkers and ramblers on the neighbouring paths were respectful. The same can be said for the resident members whom were all polite.
