The Best Golf Courses in Leigh, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom (2025)

This is a nice golf course. We played it in the middle of a lod of rain so the course was wet but it held up pretty well. I think any course would have struggled with the amount of rain we'd had and a lot of courses would have closed. All the course was in play and all the greens were in use. The only quibble I have is the layout of the facilities. The clubhouse is separate from the proshop and the driving range so you end up sat in the proshop waiting area rather than the bar if you're waiting to play or for others to come in, which is a bit unusual.

Really nice course. Needs map layout on back of hhe scorecard to help visitors know where the next hole is. So suggest printing of a nap before you play. The course make you plot you way around. Good tricky greens. Good course to play

What a great day out to walk around the Pennington Flash lake. Took us 2 hours to complete the round from the car park next to the bridge.

didn't go the golf course had a walk round the lake ..was quite busy as the kids are of school nice walk.
