For me this is the best pub in Mickleover. They go above and beyond and the food is amazing! Home cooked and they have an understanding of my allergy. Pie night on a Wednesday is my favourite but they also do a stand out Sunday carvery Family friendly and they have a beautiful garden
Lovely place with lovely folk and lovely food. An hour's drive from home to here, on our way to our daughter's house. Perfect stop off for a meal and a break.
We decided to visit the Honeycomb after a family walk around the Radbourne Estate. We originally went in for a cold drink and to have a rest in the outdoor garden. In the end we decided to have out tea there too. We were all so glad we did. The food was lovely. We had a mix of meals as there was 5 of us and was surprised at how reasonable the cost was. The food was certainly worth the price. The staff were lovely and friendl too. They even came to check we were happy with our food or if we needed anything else. With having smaller children we ate outside so we didnt disturb other customers. The garden is beautifully done. The flowers give it a homely feeling and the children loved looking at each of the flowers as we waited. We're hoping to visit again before we go home from our holiday but will be returning when we come back at Christmas time. Thank you to all the staff for the lovely service :)
Nice local pub for a drink with friends. Pretty standard, nothing special. I was shocked when two beers cost me over a tenner! No wonder people don't go to the local anymore. The blond girl behind the bar was expressionless until I forced a smile out of her with some fun conversation.
We had a few pints early doors and sat outside, we then noticed they did curry and a pint for £8.99 with chips or rice, so we thought we'd try it and it was very nice and not out of a packet as we expected for the price would recommend👍
