Beautiful place. My sister viewed here for a potential wedding venue. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly and the coffee is the best tasting coffee I’ve ever tasted. Just wow. I will be back to eat.

Just arrived back after a 4 night stay. I can only describe the experience from the minute I arrived until the minute I left as Wonderful, Magical, Cosy, Home from Home, All Team Members ho above and beyond, so friendly and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. I would like to thank 3 people in particular, and this is in no way a reflection as these were the main people who assisted me during my 4 night stay. Tracy, Debbie, Lisa. I would love to put each of them forward for a staff award if you have one. I can't wait to stay again in 5 weeks as I never feel like I am away from home when staying at Morley Hayes it really is home from home. Thanks again ☺️

Went for afternoon tea could not fault it best one we have ever had. Food was very tasty and well presented, professional friendly staff. Great venue Dovecote restaurant will definitely be going again.

A fantastic 18 hole golf course, lovely scenery and Deer watching as you play which is fantastic. It's just a shame that they don't reduce the green fees over the winter months like most courses as it gets very boggy.

Had a brilliant day today at SONTW Golf club.the hospitatly all round was 1st class from the moment we arrived as a society and long after we had finished. The course in my opinion was immaculate with greens that had ya thinking. The sun being out all day made for a great day. Well worth a visit with society highly recommended date of visit 26/6/24 on behalf of Amber valley PGC

Played at Stanton on the Wolds in the English Counties Championship in Oct, the only word to describe the experience was outstanding, the clubhouse is traditional with a great atmosphere, the staff friendly and welcoming, with nothing being to much trouble, food was excellent. Now for the course, the layout is parkland, tight fairways but fair, the greens are the best I have ever played on in my 30+ years of playing top courses. If you are thinking of visiting Stanton on the Wolds GC....DO.... you will love it.

Absolutely fantastic course, even for time of year it was in great condition. Some really challenging holes, great practice facilities, lovely staff in the bar/restaurant. Can’t wait to visit again

Four of us played today and had a fabulous time ! The staff were excellent as was the course and also our meals before and after our round ! Many thanks to Lynn, Colin and the club professional who were all very pleasant and helpful. We hope to return in warmer times but I'm sure with the same warm welcome ! Excellent course & practice facilities. Food was good and drinks reasonably priced, staff were very accomodating One of the nicest courses I have played, will be looking to come back again next year.

Friendly, helpful staff. Crazy golf facility looking a little tired, but still a good bit of family fun (plus a free pumpkin each, which was a nice bonus). Eating in the clubhouse was decent value.

Lovely food and nice environment. Utilities were goid and servjce was friendly. I was there for a Christmas party from work snd I really enjoyed it. There was a photo boot as well and that was lots of fun for the people involved. Nice experience, looking forward to repiting it.

Course was in great condition for my first full game of the year. A challenging back nine both physically and skill. Only downside was parking on the day I played, was very busy, otherwise all was excellent. Bacon and sausage cob and a cuppa beforehand, a pint afterwards in the very nice bar. Will make the effort to go back and try the range which looked well presented with targets and trackman.

Went on the pirates crazy golf. The young girl on the till was absolutely lovely, the way she spoke so naturally happy, chatty and fun personality. Makes such a difference to an experience when you get greeted in such a way. Had a brilliant time and wished it went on for longer like 23 holes. That’s maybe something they could consider doing… Parking was very busy but also very good as lots of extra spaces. It was an immaculately clean nicely thought out course, even the net poles to retrieve ball out the water. It was well worth the price. Will certainly be going back again..

Excellent course. Not the longest in the world, but technical with sloped fairways. The technically gifted will have a significant reward. Nice clubhouse with friendly staff.

We play a lot of open competitions a year and two of the Lad's had never played Chevin before so I booked us into an open. The day from start to finish was second to none.We were made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff from the club house to the well stocked Pro shop then a starter that was a credit to the club. We had a top notch breakfast then a round on one of the very best courses we have played this year. Fairways were just like walking on carpet complemented by true greens that posed some issues to work out the line in short a top course. I would very strongly recommend this class golf club.

Billed as a very welcoming course, and guess what? It really is! Enjoyable autumnal round, members very welcoming, super lunch in the bar, recommend.

Ian Walley is 10/10. Been to him for a year now for lessons. Understands what you want, where you are with your game & every lesson is worthwhile. Makes it very simple & enjoyable.

Beautiful course, very well looked after. Great setting and views. Greens are excellent, manicured fairways. Some parts of the rough are punishing!!!! I’ll just have to learn to drive straighter . Would definitely go back

Loved this course. Immaculate condition and a friendly welcome. Fairly generous fairways but enough of a challenge for a mid-handicap golfer. Favourite holes were 7 (par 3 over water), 10 (downhill par 4 with a narrow green next to water) & 11 (long uphill par 3).

The staff were really friendly, the course was in excellent condition and the Lady Vice Captain was very welcoming as well. A really good afternoon of golf.

I've recently become a member of Lingdale and i am happy to admit it is the best golf club I have played at in the past 10 years. The course is in great condition with the amazing scenery making it a lovely place to play golf. Great value for money and impeccable staff and service!!!

Lovely course. Variety of holes with up and down, left and right turns. Not too many bunkers which I liked Mostly a even course (left-right) although a couple of holes with some lean on them Well maintained course, especially given the current wet conditions. Great views and wonderful lighting across the course, nice trail through trees too

Nice to finally play a full 18 holes of golf after all the rain we have had. It's a lovely course in fantastic shape, greens nice and fast, coffee and a bacon cob,spot on!

I've played this course quite a few times over recent years and I always find it an interesting challenge and mostly in good order except when the weather is very wet when some parts of the course get too boggy. I find the back nine more challenging and less forgiving of wayward shots but all the more satisfying if I manage to keep out of trouble. Clubhouse and bar also a pleasant experience. All round a good place for visiting golfers.

A good time was had here at this slightly more traditional but relaxed course and clubhouse. First time here and for a good cause: Rainbow Hospice Charity Golf Day. Despite recent inclement weather, we found the course not only visually pleasant but also very playable... a fact not reflected in my 'tee- slice- shank- repeat' gameplay I'll be back.🤪

Visited the newly opened restaurant and was surprised with what a transformation from what it was before. It was much more atmospheric than before with a more welcoming vibe. Service was fast and attentive and food was excellent especially the wood fired pizza. All in all and excellent evening and will definitely be going back 10 out of 10

Fantastic. Came for the opening of the new farmhouse kitchen and it was fabulous. The food was delicious, prompt and hot. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. This is going to be one hard spot to beat. Thanks for everything, Olli

Came her today for champagne breakfast for my wife's birthday, food was amazing although the portions were large, not a complaint! Service was excellent and staff very friendly and attentive. We've been before and would definitely come again. 100% recommend it. Well done everyone 👏 👍

We had a family birthday in meal, there were 19 of us. The room is okay if a little bare with not much atmosphere. The view out across the golf course was good. The menu was good with everybody finding things they liked, there were plenty of gluten free options for those that needed them. The quality of the food was good across all 3 courses and nit to expensive. 2 courses for £17 3 courses for £22. There is no bar in the dining room, so you had to go to the bar for them. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a pleasant place to eat as a large group.

A very picturesque course and only a little hilly. Reasonably priced golf and refreshments with great, friendly staff. Definitely recommend a visit.

Dinner dance on a Saturday evening food excellent as always, good dj, nice dance floor and fairly well priced wine. Always friendly and professional staff.

Apart from being a very fine course, due credit must be paid to the Head Professional Tim Coxon. Probably the finest in the East Midlands. Outstanding service.
