Absolutely fantastic course, even for time of year it was in great condition. Some really challenging holes, great practice facilities, lovely staff in the bar/restaurant. Can’t wait to visit again

Four of us played today and had a fabulous time ! The staff were excellent as was the course and also our meals before and after our round ! Many thanks to Lynn, Colin and the club professional who were all very pleasant and helpful. We hope to return in warmer times but I'm sure with the same warm welcome ! I played Coxmoor in September 2023. The course was in fantastic condition. Located in the "Golden Triangle" of Coxmoor G.C, Hollinwell G.C and Sherwood Forest G.C in the heart of Nottinghamshire's Sherwood Forest. The views are stunning the holes are all individual with there own challengers with and the 18th has possibly the longest narrowest green in the county. The high quality a true Heathland course with heather, gorse, broom and grasses is reflected in the green fee but value for money it is well worth it. The club house has a very nice balcony that overlooks the 1st tee and 18th green so you can have refreshment and see how others get on. Practice facilities are very good with PXG having a demo day when I was there. The rating I give are always based on value for money for the quality of course condition, practice facilities, club house facilities including locker room changing/shower, food & drink, car parking.

Nice course, well kept. The views are fantastic at times.

The best greens I’ve played on in sometime Course is kept to a very high standard with lots of great touches Super friendly pro with well stocked shop Super layout and challenging course, friendly staff and members, would highly recommend and definitely return.

My favourite place in the area!! This is a quality course with such a variety of excellent holes. The views you have of the Peak District in the distance are amazing. The greens were in great condition as were the tees and fairways. This will be a place I always come back too!!

Cracking golf course. Really nice layout with holes to test people of all abilities. The greens are super quick, and the pins are in challenging positions. I would definitely recommend a visit here! Nice bar and restaurant serving a good selection of tasty food and premium beers.

Lovely buffet after a funeral , good quality .Staff very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Would recommend the place for similar events

Fun course, right balance of challenging and rewarding with well-placed hazards. Primarily par 4s between ~300-350yds. Greens are well maintained and run nicely. Top course. Favourite: Hole 14. Gorgeous par 5, down hill with water hugging the left of the green.

My society, Lincoln Moorlands Railway Golf Society came here yesterday, great breakfast and friendly staff. Amazing track with brilliant views and great greens. Definitely recommend a visit. Maybe get a buggy for the hills.

Played here early November. Considering the amount of rainfall over the previous weeks the course was in remarkably good condition. Trolleys were allowed and greens were excellent, smooth and all playable except for a winter green on the second hole. Friendly staff and good food and drink. A very enjoyable trip.,

Such a great day with members from our club in Nottinghamshire. The staff were very friendly & attentive & the course was lovely with great views over Buxton & the surrounding area. The food was excellent home made steak pie & crumble to follow 😋 Hopefully the score will improve next time, we will be back 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️⛳️

Such a lovely place and great people working there. We did the golf simulation in the studio and had so much fun! The gent behind the till was such a legend too!

Great course, always in good condition. The green fees are so reasonable!! The course provides a great variety for all golfers even having a links feel to 4 of the holes. I would definitely recommend a visit!!

A very warm welcome from the pro shop, really friendly. Helpful information given. Unfortunately 2 holes are currently closed due to major roadworks, beyond the clubs control. The course was in fairly good condition considering we had several quite heavy snow showers through the afternoon. Good value for a round of golf on an interesting but not long course. Well worth a visit.

What an absolute gem of a golf course! But my word it’s hilly so get a buggy!! £40 for manicured greens and well presented fairways, different challenges and views over Hope Valley. Just brilliant, will be back (with a buggy again)

Beautiful course and perfect weather, challenging test for all levels of golfers. The course is hilly and greens trcky but the views you get are stunning,, we visited as a society and everyone enjoyed it 👌👌

As you would expect from a course located in Derbyshire Peak district it's not flat far from it but the track is approaching outstanding both from a golf point of view and a scenic. We were fortunate that the weather was plesant but if the rain came in then it would be a VERY difficult course. We were made extremely welcome and the club house was good. I have to mention the flapjack's that were home made they were just unbelievable a MUST try. If you do have mobility issues then I would certainly recommend a buggy it is difficult I know as I have a iffy knee. Negatives not about the course but the area attracts a lot of visitors so on narrow roads cars are an issue BUT not as much as cyclists who make traveling time a lot longer so that is something to take into consideration when planning your journey.

What an absolute pleasure to play a course which I must have driven past many times and never really knew it was here! Excellent condition out on the course. Made very welcome in the Pro Shop and Clubhouse bar. There are some little touches which make the experience so memorable. The outside seating alongside the practice green is no doubt well used and made for a welcome post round refreshment seat! Stunning views on many holes, the challenge on each is different taking the experience up a further notch! Thank you for supporting the On Course Foundation with their fund raising!

Fantastic course and facilities, excellent in the winter, driving range is really good with the new Trackman, I’ve also been having lessons with Barry who has changed my game massively, Making me enjoy playing golf a lot more than I was. You cannot got wrong at Bondhay! It’s excellent.

Really good course, needs a bit of love. Staff friendly, want to play again when not on temps. To be fair didn’t pay a lot as on temps, so no issues from me.

Very good setup. The food and the staff were top standard. The course is one of those that you have to think about where you hit your drive. Lots of trees and big bunkers and a few ponds. Well worth a visit.

It’s a great course but be warned it’s tough!! You have to be straight off the tee, if not the trees will prevent you making any head way towards the green. It’s playable all year round with excellent drainage. It maybe tough but it’s fun and will really challenge your game. Course management is key.

Foid night put, great entertainment from the crew. Food was very good, Christmas Dinner with the trimmings. Madrid beer was a bit poor. Although the bar staff learnt to make a negroni! Bloody marvellous.

We came for the Minigolf / adventure golf and it was fantastic! Very welcoming and friendly staff and an overall good atmosphere. We noticed they have a pool, club paddle and all sorts of other activities - what a place! We will certainly be back. Cost £23 for a family of four and well worth it. Plenty of parking too. The mini golf is very well maintained and looks just like it does on the website. Highly recommend it.

Loved this course. Immaculate condition and a friendly welcome. Fairly generous fairways but enough of a challenge for a mid-handicap golfer. Favourite holes were 7 (par 3 over water), 10 (downhill par 4 with a narrow green next to water) & 11 (long uphill par 3).

Beautiful course, very well looked after. Great setting and views. Greens are excellent, manicured fairways. Some parts of the rough are punishing!!!! I’ll just have to learn to drive straighter . Would definitely go back

Very challenging golf course, changed since i last played it 25+ years ago. Nice helpful bar and catering staff. Just 1 small concern it could do with a bit more lighting in carpark, but apart from that 100%

Went to the 19th for Steak Night and had a great evening. Food was amazing. Onion rings were the size of my hand and very crispy. Chicken was cooked to perfection along with the cauliflower steak. Fillet steak was perfectly cooked. Great evening

Had our wedding reception here recently (after getting married abroad). The staff and the service were incredible and so many of our guests said how amazing all the staff were. The chef was very accommodating and friendly and the food was delicious and great value. Everyone involved took the stress of the planning and it was smooth sailing all the way through! The setting is beautiful and having the outside patio area was perfect, we had so many comments about how lovely the location was. We can't thank Tom, Sharni and all the team enough for assisting us in having a fantasic day celebrations!

Excellent course. Not the longest in the world, but technical with sloped fairways. The technically gifted will have a significant reward. Nice clubhouse with friendly staff.

Fairways at Chevin Golf Club had the most delicious steak pie I have ever had. It had chunky beef pieces covered in thick, rich gravy. This is definitely a place for pie!

We play a lot of open competitions a year and two of the Lad's had never played Chevin before so I booked us into an open. The day from start to finish was second to none.We were made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff from the club house to the well stocked Pro shop then a starter that was a credit to the club. We had a top notch breakfast then a round on one of the very best courses we have played this year. Fairways were just like walking on carpet complemented by true greens that posed some issues to work out the line in short a top course. I would very strongly recommend this class golf club.
