Such a beautiful 18 hole course, perfect for all golfers, variety of pars, some more challenging than others. I’m still in my first year so call myself a beginner and I like the different challenges of this course. Staff are friendly, the club room is clean and has a good selection of drinks and food. Buggies available and the pro shop is always well stocked. I had my very first lesson with Sam the Pro here and I am glad I chose here as it is bigger than my home course.

You will not be disappointed with the scenery at this place. Good course but a tough if playing in to the wind.

I'm not a golfer but I have a friend who is a member of NMGC. My connection is walking down the 3rd fairway on a walk with my dog... there's a bell to ring so if anyone is on the tee they'll wait until you're past potential points of dodging a hooked tee shot...The views are quite spectacular especially the 3rd fairway looking towards Kinder Scout. From the people I've spoken to they are very happy with their golf club & club house...

Great golf course on the edge of Derbyshire. Lots of different styles holes to challenge every level. Some of the views from the course are absolutely stunning. The par three 16th which is 230 yards off the yellows, down a steep hill overlooking the Manchester valley, on any given day, can be played with an eight iron, or as much as three wood, depending on the wind. Truly a fantastic course for a very enjoyable days golf.

Such a lovely place and great people working there. We did the golf simulation in the studio and had so much fun! The gent behind the till was such a legend too!

Great course, always in good condition. The green fees are so reasonable!! The course provides a great variety for all golfers even having a links feel to 4 of the holes. I would definitely recommend a visit!!

A very warm welcome from the pro shop, really friendly. Helpful information given. Unfortunately 2 holes are currently closed due to major roadworks, beyond the clubs control. The course was in fairly good condition considering we had several quite heavy snow showers through the afternoon. Good value for a round of golf on an interesting but not long course. Well worth a visit.

Played after a lot of rain, so quite soft in places, and standing water/wet sand on greens. Course was enjoyable, though quite a few 'blind' holes which I am not keen on. Used buggies which were in good clean condition. Shop was only open on request which seemed odd, though the weather forecast probably meant very few golfers would be calling! Didn't eat/drink there. If course was drier, and top condition, probably a 5 star!

Our Society recently had a golf day at Chapel en le frith Golf Club and were overwhelmed with how great an experience it was. Breakfast, Diner and Tea all included in the price, coffee on arrival, one 18 hole round and a 9 hole round. The club captain came in to greet us even though he was injured and gave us some good information on the course. The course is amazingly maintained, Tee Boxes, Fairways and greens are all really well maintained and look great, the views from the course are breath-taking. Fairways are very open however the course is very challenging and will test your golf skill. Buggy hire is exceptionally reasonably priced. the food was prepared really well and tasted great. the whole group couldn't find a single complaint throughout the whole course. 10/10 - Hope to see you all again soon !

Held my Dad's wake at the golf club on Monday 3rd February, couldn't fault it had the hot sandwiches and chips, they were fantastic great quality meat on the sandwiches and plenty of it, cakes were delicious. Upstairs room was great. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, would definitely recommend.

Our 8 man society played on 22/06. Really warm welcome by the lady in the golf shop, just the perfect introduction to the golf club. The course itself was challenging, but well kept and the greens ran fast and true. Bar staff equally professional for the post round inquest! We had a lovely day and would definitely return.

A fantastic 18 hole golf course, lovely scenery and Deer watching as you play which is fantastic. It's just a shame that they don't reduce the green fees over the winter months like most courses as it gets very boggy.

Went for afternoon tea could not fault it best one we have ever had. Food was very tasty and well presented, professional friendly staff. Great venue Dovecote restaurant will definitely be going again.

Beautiful place. My sister viewed here for a potential wedding venue. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly and the coffee is the best tasting coffee I’ve ever tasted. Just wow. I will be back to eat.

Just arrived back after a 4 night stay. I can only describe the experience from the minute I arrived until the minute I left as Wonderful, Magical, Cosy, Home from Home, All Team Members ho above and beyond, so friendly and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. I would like to thank 3 people in particular, and this is in no way a reflection as these were the main people who assisted me during my 4 night stay. Tracy, Debbie, Lisa. I would love to put each of them forward for a staff award if you have one. I can't wait to stay again in 5 weeks as I never feel like I am away from home when staying at Morley Hayes it really is home from home. Thanks again ☺️

What an absolute pleasure to play a course which I must have driven past many times and never really knew it was here! Excellent condition out on the course. Made very welcome in the Pro Shop and Clubhouse bar. There are some little touches which make the experience so memorable. The outside seating alongside the practice green is no doubt well used and made for a welcome post round refreshment seat! Stunning views on many holes, the challenge on each is different taking the experience up a further notch! Thank you for supporting the On Course Foundation with their fund raising!

What an absolute gem of a golf course! But my word it’s hilly so get a buggy!! £40 for manicured greens and well presented fairways, different challenges and views over Hope Valley. Just brilliant, will be back (with a buggy again)

As you would expect from a course located in Derbyshire Peak district it's not flat far from it but the track is approaching outstanding both from a golf point of view and a scenic. We were fortunate that the weather was plesant but if the rain came in then it would be a VERY difficult course. We were made extremely welcome and the club house was good. I have to mention the flapjack's that were home made they were just unbelievable a MUST try. If you do have mobility issues then I would certainly recommend a buggy it is difficult I know as I have a iffy knee. Negatives not about the course but the area attracts a lot of visitors so on narrow roads cars are an issue BUT not as much as cyclists who make traveling time a lot longer so that is something to take into consideration when planning your journey.

Beautiful course and perfect weather, challenging test for all levels of golfers. The course is hilly and greens trcky but the views you get are stunning,, we visited as a society and everyone enjoyed it 👌👌

Loved the course. As you can see, it was sunny on the first tee and there is snow in the hills in the background, in April!! It snowed on me coming in on the 18th. Lovely designed course and a good challenge for any golfer. Nice and spongey fairways. Greens could be better, but they will improve with the sunshine. I get the impression it is a wet course in the winter. Good value though and will definitely go back there. I managed to get round in 3 hrs too and the course was busy.

This is one of my favourite golf course in Cheshire, well maintained, some really tricky/challenging holes. Although the weather conditions have been poor recently yet the course was in brilliant condition. Also staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.

Course in very good condition, greens really superb, bunkers are a bit overfilled with heavy sand (or maybe I was just bad out of bunkers today). The food though was the best I've ever eaten in a golf club; all 'home made', really delicious and very nicely presented too. Definitely worth going to eat there irrespective of the golf!

Dropped in for a late evening round when it was quiet. Fantastic course, well maintained, some tricky holes and enough variation in terrain too make it interesting without having to climb up many hills. Friendly welcome as well and a bargain if you come around 5pm as the rates drop. We'll definitely come again.

A lovely little nine hole course with each hole providing its own challenges. Some lovely views as well. Reasonable cost to play and you can do nine or eighteen holes. It is quite hilly but that's part of the charm,just come prepared.

A lovely, pretty course. Obviously gorgeous in today's sunshine. Quite testing, but had a thoroughly great morning. Nice, friendly bar staff. Can't wait to get back at some point very soon. A little problematic with holes crossing over each other, but with no time constraint, wasn't a problem for our 4-ball

One of the best courses in England and despite it's relatively short length it still offers a good test of golf. The course has always been in impeccable shape whenever we've played there.The staff in the clubhouse are welcoming with a nice selection of food and ales. The views both from the clubhouse and on the course are superb. Overall a brilliant day of golf can be had at Cavendish, however the weather can be brutal at times, so don't forget your waterproofs!

Not the longest course but definitely has some challenging holes and tricky greens to navigate. The course is set in beautiful countryside with panoramic views and has been maintained to a very high standard. The greens are superb and some of the best I've ever played on.

Absolute class. My friend and I played on a glorious Sunday afternoon in October, and it was perfect. I knew about the reputation of this course as ‘the inspiration for Augusta’ and it does deliver. Dr Alastair McKenzie knew what he was doing. Amazing views from all corners of the course and despite the overall elevation, because the holes are carefully crafted into the tables of the terrain, it is a surprisingly good walk. The staff (shoutout to assistant pro, Liam) are super helpful and make you feel very welcome. Great hospitality in the clubhouse and you can enjoy watching players come in with a cold pint on the terrace. Cannot recommend highly enough and can’t wait to return next year. Proper golf course!

Lovely course that’s seen a lot of sensible investment recently. Testing on some holes, but forgiving on others. Well stocked pro shop, and delicious beer in the clubhouse! 🤤 👍🏼🍺 - good on a summers evening for definite!

Always love playing here. The course has improved massively, if you’ve not played there in a while it’s worth another visit. Also Madri on tap at the bar helps you forget about the odd bad round 😂

Fantastic golf course. Little tight lane to get down there if the road. I second guessed myself driving down it. But I was in a larger vehicle transit pickup truck 3.5ton 19ft long. So you will manage in a car. Soon as you see the course it’s self you can tell it’s well maintained. Beautiful start to finish tree lined course. Fantastic greens tee box great. Some nice features coming around the course. A couple of very tricky holes. Absolute pleasure. We had the good fortune of playing against their team in an MDGA event. Very friendly advised us on course hazards etc as we hadn’t played before. Great day out here hope to play it again. Good quality coffee in bar Good guiness after Great food 👌 Sorry I don’t have some picture for my review this time
