This afternoon was our third visit to this brilliant little eatery and our second experience of the afternoon teas. Well worth driving over from Manchester for according to our friends! The combination of savoury and sweet selections, home prepared and served up with a smile is amazing, freshly prepared and so tasty. The scones (both cheese and fruit) are fluffy and light and there's no pressure to eat fast and clear out of the place making for a wonderful afternoon all round. Thoroughly recommend booking a table here and having a great time.
Amazing place. Just open for breakfast and lunch. I recommend all my holiday guests there. The breakfast are fantastic. Eggs Benedictine, vegan alternatives. The lunches are absolutely gorgeous. Atmosphere is great and the owner is fantastic. Great service, fantastic food, and lovely ambience in there.
Stumbled across this place via Google and absolutely enjoyed the experience. Attention to the ingredients shows up as tasty food - even for the simplest of items like eggs on toast. Near perfect ambience located on the Main Street within easy access of most parking and bus stops. Early start recommended or booking as the place is fully booked and very popular (rightfully so !). Stroll in the village afterwards for. A delightful day out.
Oh my, what a lovely place. Had afternoon tea (birthday treat), it was amazing. So much food we took some home. Service was great, food was lovely. First time visiting, but it won't be the last. Very popular place so booking a table is a must.
