A fantastic venue in stunning surroundings. Staff are incredibly helpful and the accommodations are impeccable. Thank you all for making my daughter’s wedding such a special occasion.

We stayed here for my sisters Wedding on 23rd May. Francesca looked after us on the day as she was so helpful as were the rest of the team. The weather was not the best but the Ashes is so beautiful it didn't matter and the staff accommodated us having the reception drinks inside as it began to rain quickly! My husband and I stayed in the Coach House which was beautiful. Our whole stay was wonderful, Thank you

Wow, what a place! They kept the drinks flowing, food brought out, tables cleared and all of the staff were polite. Thank you to Katie for topping my glass up 😂. As others have said, the grounds are stunning with the added bonus of Highland cows in the field. Great service goes along way, and your team did a fantastic job!

From the moment we viewed The Ashes, to the morning after the big day, we cannot fault the venue or the team for their support throughout. Our big day was nothing short of perfect thanks to our amazing wedding coordinator, Sarah - and if something did go wrong, we certainly had no idea. The venue itself is a hidden beauty, and we were fortunate enough to do our initial viewing on a lovely sunny day, which instantly told us we knew we would be making the right choice in booking The Ashes. From the grounds, the ceremony and wedding breakfast barns, to the Old Dairy Suite and the onsite accommodation, we genuinely couldn’t fault the venue or the team in the slightest. I think it would be fair to say, that as Jenkinsons are exclusively the caterers for The Ashes, we were a little apprehensive, however they exceeded ALL expectations, and the food was exceptional. If you’re worried that this could be an issue, you really shouldn’t be. Our wedding day was perfect, made possible only by the exceptional venue and incredible staff. Thank you!

An absolutely stunning venue, with a great view of the country side. Had a February wedding here and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was really friendly and helpful and our event manager Helen made sure everything went exactly as planned. Giving 4 stars because you can not choose your own catering service and I can not recommend the in-house caterer Jenkinsons.
