Used the golf club yesterday for a buffet for 75 people. The food was lovely and friends commented how much they enjoyed it. Laura was great, even accommodating for an unexpected gluten free guest. Highly recommend.

Held a 70th birthday party at The View, Glossop. The 3 course meal we had for 90+ people was absolutely brilliant , it was delicious, the portion sizes were great and the food hot! Would definitely recommend this venue and we will be using it again 👏

We had an excellent family Sunday dinner thank you to Laura and team! The carrot, ginger and chilli soup was very tasty and quite possibly one of the best soups I’ve ever had - I had to stop myself from licking the bowl clean. True story. The roast dinners were all lovely and well proportioned (large but not too large) my beef was beautifully cooked with excellent accompaniments - great roasties and a generous serving of top quality horseradish 😋 Our girls were well looked after - generous servings of pizza twists, fries and fresh salad. The fries they didn’t manage to finish were polished off by the adults. Their highlight though was most definitely their knickerbocker glories which were gloriously over the top and kept them quiet for a good 30 minutes while we could finish our conversations :) Very relaxed afternoon, and as the name implies there is a beautiful view too.

Would like to thank Laura & the team for a fantastic night for my grandma's 90th Birthday party 🎉 The food was amazing & everyone seemed to enjoy it. We will definitely be coming again to try the Sunday lunch. The Lyons family xx

Great venue - thank you to Laura, the kitchen and the great bar staff who were very friendly, polite and attentive and helped make the evening go smoothly! Food was fantastic and the room is a great space for a family celebration! My only reason for not giving 5 star is that the golfers can still use the room for the bar if they want to, even during a booked function. It wasn’t too bad and they did leave as our guests were arriving but it’s worth being aware of when you book the room.
