The Pro here at Matlock Golf Course was so helpful and accommodating when as overseas tourists we needed to hire clubs (one set left handed). The Pro rang around other courses that had them and booked us in for a round of golf. Thank you so much for your help you are an asset to your club. From two NZ travellers.

It was so nostalgic coming back to Matlock where my late parents were members for many years. Christian, the professional there remembered them both so well which made the day very special. The course was beautiful and in lovely condition and I would recommend it well worth playing

As I had passed Matlock golf club many times and never played there I decided that as my home course of Tankersley Park Golf club had a reciprocal arrangement that it was time to play it. I spoke to the professional in advance with a suitable date and time which was made available without any problem for a four ball. Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day without wind as we arrived for our tee time. The members were very welcoming to us asking where we were from and if we had played the course before. The condition of the course was magnificent and the greens were the fastest I have played on for a long time. The greens staff are a credit to the golf club for the way the course was presented. After the golf we had a drink in the clubhouse followed by a meal. Once again the staff were very welcoming to us. I would certainly recommend Matlock Golf club to anyone who fancies a nice challenging round of golf with spectacular views across beautiful Derbyshire countryside.
