We decided to book a champagne breakfast the day after our diamond Wedding Anniversary on which was 17th April. The breakfast was arranged for Good Friday , 18th. As it was Easter weekend, we confirmed the booking last August. The menu had changed in 2025 but they agreed to honour our original booking which was based on the previous menu. We placed our individual orders a week before the event. Our party consisted of 21 adults and two children plus a baby. We were welcomed warmly and given the Atrium which was beautifully laid out for us. Once we were seated the various courses were served. The staff were extremely attentive, ensuring that the coffee pots and teapots were replenished throughout the meal and orange juice regularly topped up. Everyone enjoyed their choice of food which were amply proportioned. We can understand why the new menu is less extensive (at a lower price) as a starter followed by a main after pastries proved too much for most guests.We were asked when we would like the champagne to be served and opted for the end so that we could make our toasts. All in all it was a most wonderful, unhurried occasion with quality fresh cooked food and excellent personal service. Throughout the whole process from initial booking to actually attending us on the day, Laura Ryder has done an excellent job. Her customer relations service is one of the best I have experienced in my 82 years. It is certainly somewhere we shall consider for our 70th anniversary in 10 years time (lol) - just being positive!

We went for a meal there. The service was very good, especially as it was really busy. On an offer is 3 starters smaller ones. Very nice. However, the belly pork was dry. My friend shared the cheese and nachos they really enjoyed it. Then 2 of us went for the horsely lodge burger. 1 went for a chicken burger, and 1 went for the fish. The beef burgers were OK but overcooked. We were all too full for desserts. The real ale is really nice. Overall, it was a pleasant evening.

Our first time in the new restaurant and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. What a change, the design is a huge improvement from before, they’ve created a welcoming and contemporary restaurant which is matched with a varied and interesting menu. And so lovely to look out over the stunning golf course. The food was good, so was the service. Looking forward to our next visit, would definitely recommend!

Our first visit to Horsley Lodge Restaurant was a delightful experience. We were a party of seven, including a high chair, and received a warm welcome before being promptly seated. The restaurant itself is beautiful and notably spacious, with ample room between tables. Our seats, positioned in front of the bi-fold doors, offered stunning views of the golf course. The staff were attentive, quickly taking our drink orders and surprising the mothers in our group with complimentary glasses of prosecco and primrose plants—a lovely, thoughtful touch. The Sunday lunch, which we all opted for, was exceptionally well-executed, from the starters to the desserts. Each course was delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, the combination of excellent service, delicious food, and fair pricing made for a memorable dining experience. We will certainly be returning soon.

Enjoyed an excellent breakfast on our 1st visit to Horsley Lodge. Wonderful views across the golf course & surrounding countryside. Well done chef, a perfect full English with quality ingredients, our best breakfast ever at a great price. Will return soon to sample the lunch menu.
