Fantastic place for a regular walk … stunning scenery around Virgina lake ..lots of facilities.. cafes car park etc
A beautiful place to walk around. Great for photography lovers, families, couples and dog walkers. (Be careful with your dog off lead as I came across some muntjac deer) I parked on Wick Lane and walked through to the Chapel Wood area to photograph the Acers and mushrooms. Easy to follow paths, cafes dotted about and a really beautiful and calm place to be.
Beautifully kept open space with walks, lovely gardens and lots to see around the Virginia Water lake. The wildlife seems to thrive here, with lots of birds and even a grass snake by the lakeside. Visited in early March and returned in May to see the flowers in full bloom. The facilities are immaculately maintained and cafés around the park serve great coffee and cakes. Parking was not cheap at £3 per hour or £12 for a day, but entry to the park and gardens is free so good value overall.
Loved the light show and the trail. Was very cozy and lovely experience. Not so great food options, especially if you are a vegetarian. But it's not a place to dine but to admire the shine.
Wonderful garden to visit at anytime of year. There is also a lovely restaurant and cafe onside. Really good value to considering the lovely location and views.
