Richard recently transformed a featureless block paved area into a relaxing courtyard garden. Creating a clearly defined wheelchair accessible path that allows perfectly smooth transition to other garden areas. Screening an unglamorous oil tank and constructing picket fencing and gates. He carefully excavated planting beds by hand to a good depth being careful of underground pipes and electricals. He consulted regularly to ensure I was happy with his interpretation of my design and always left the site tidy and safe at the end of the day. He was happy to use recycled materials keeping costs and waste minimal. Very happy to recommend Richard

Richard completed some astroturf, gravel and block paving in out front garden. As you can see in the pictures the finished article is superb. Richard was meticulous throughout every stage of the job and was really neat and tidy cleaning up as he went along. Super happy with the end result and would highly recommend for all types of landscaping jobs. Extremely competitive pricing too.

Richard worked so very hard when he came to lay down a Porcelain Oak Cortina patio around our potting shed - unlike normal paving, these are planks so look like Oak & it was a large area for him to cover & he certainly knows what he's doing. Very professional, but very friendly & helpful in all the work he undertook & at the finish of the job he cleaned the drive where he'd been mixing etc. He's very methodical & meticulous & we're delighted with the outcome.

Richard has just finished our back garden. It has completely been transformed from lawn and borders, to lovely slabs, coloured stones, raised planters and a small pond with a water feature. Richard and his wife Cindy are both very friendly, helpful and professional. Richard worked very hard, explaining the work he was doing and checking we were happy with each stage. Richard is a meticulous worker, with attention to detail, cleaning up very well each day.My husband and I are thrilled to bits with what Richards done for us. MGS recently took down conifers, 3 trees and fence which was no mean task. Mitch the main man was true to his word and did everything I asked, with also making suggestions if it would improve things when putting up the new fence. The fence looks amazing and already I have had several people comment. He cleaned up every evening to make it easy for my dog to go out in the garden. Mitch and his team were so polite and always jolly. In-fact they made having this daunting task much more of a pleasure. Thank you MGM. Fantastic! I rang Mitch as I had been scammed and lost a lot of money. Mitch was happy to help and really looked after me on price. My garden was left a mess and Mitch turned up the next week to fix it. I can not thank Mitch and Ben enough for how they have helped me out. Mitch and Ben are very hard working and they turned up everyday come rain or shine. Pictures are below but I will post more pictures once we get nicer weather. When we originally requested a quote. Mitch came to the house and came up with some better ideas on how to improve our garden. The quote came through very quickly. I had Christian come to help me by installing a blind following an initial attempt which didn't last. He was very prompt, very polite, and very helpful. Christian is a lifesaver and absolute star. We had a serious leak from the back of our toilet which was gushing out every time it was flushed. Rats had come up the pipework and chewed through the flexi pipe at the back. Christian replaced it with thicker stronger piping to stop them. He was really busy but wasn't going to leave us in this situation. He made time for us. We have some DIY jobs needing doing next year and will be asking Christian to do them. Very friendly and honest, highly recommend.

My fence panels went through it this winter, despite trying my best to keep them standing they gave up the ghost during Storm Pia last month. So fence research happened, and ALS were the ones that stood out with prompt communication and action from a fabulous team. From Tony providing my best options and quotes, to Kenny and Elvis enduring the temperatures and grafting so incredibly hard through some tricky conditions to deliver a very secure garden fence that will apparently outlive me (see accompanying before/after images for context). Out went the untamed boarders, shrubs and brambles, in came a blank canvas back to seeded grass; wrap around patio across the whole of the rear of the property; new off-road gravel parking, 3 wonderful bespoke sheds, wooden gazebo ready for Lazy spa/hot tub or winter outdoor seating area; new concrete driveway linking the front drive to the rear garden; and a new first impression front garden with new paths and drain covers. Rick and his team have done an impressive job replacing the scraggly patchy grass with artificial grass. Their work ethic is fab, they arrive at 0800 and work solidly throughout the day , they are great to have around friendly and polite with a gsh. I appreciate we chose the very good quality grass but it wouldn’t be anywhere near as fabulous if the preparation work hadn’t been done correctly. I thoroughly recommend Rick and his fab team, so much so, they’re coming back to replace the very uneven patio.
