The team have excellent knowledge of plants and were able to recommend, source and plant some excellent specimens for me which will provide interest and colour throughout the year. They also tidied up the rest of my garden and provided additional plants where required. I will be asking them back to maintain the garden as and when required. Derek and his team did an excellent job with our back garden. We were very impressed with how thorough he was in the beginning and talked us through the whole project and what would be expected. We had some idea of what we wanted, and Derek helped us shape this and provide his own ideas of what we could do, which we really valued. It took us a long time to get him booked in (5 months, so book well in advanced), but when he confirmed a date, the work was completed in good time and completed with excellent quality. He was conscious of doing an excellent job, but also considered the implications of the decisions too. For example, we asked for an area to be covered in patio slabs, and Derek mentioned that we also need to consider the drainage required for such a job. He factored this into the work, and given the rain we have had over the past couple of months, we've been very thankful of the knowledge he had to ensure that the job is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. We would highly recommend Derek to others and will happily use him again.

Our garden was an overgrown mess ever since we moved in with low quality soil and rubbish and rubble left over from the original house build and to our shame several years of neglect. Andy and team drew up a lovely low maintenance design to let us keep control but still get us some greenery and colour. Improved the soil, removed the rubbish paving laid by the developer and replaced with new patio and built out the raised beds and planted out borders. Quoted 3 weeks to carry out the work, but was completed to an excellent standard in 2 and to our budget. Very much looking forward to seeing it start to bloom in the spring and summer and such a relief to no longer have a horrendous eyesore staring at us through the windows. Excellent attention to detail and personal service. Thoroughly recommend.

We highly recommend Haywood Landscapes from start to finish a wonderful, friendly, professional company to deal with in every aspect. We were looking around for an all in one solution to our landscaping needs. The design element was very important to us as we only had a vague idea of what we wanted in our minds. Andy and the team compiled our thoughts, essentials and desirables and created a design we loved from day 1. When it came to the build, we didn't have to wait long for a team to be available. They did a great job and neighbours had no complaints about their level of courtesy. Took about 6 weeks working business days to finish the job. A significant part of the job was excavating clay. All in we were extremely happy with the attention to detail and final outcome. The only issue we had was our pergola was delivered late by a one man team from a 3rd party, due to having a puncture. Given underlying medical problems I was unable to effectively assist with the delivery.

Cannot recommend Daryl enough. We moved in to a new build house with a VERY basic back garden. We had never had a 'proper' garden before, so decided to have it landscaped professionally. From the first initial meeting, even before quoting, Daryl was providing great advice and recommendations. Throughout the build, no detail was missed and Daryl went above and beyond to make sure we were kept up to date with progress and continued to provide suggestions to improve the quality of the landscaping. Just one example - the garden lighting was fitted just before Christmas. Even after working all day, Daryl came back in the evening to greatly improve the effect of the lighting. Daryl has followed up regularly to answer any questions and has visited the garden to make sure the plants have taken well and to provide aftercare advice. Thank you Daryl!

Daryl is excellent at his craft. From start to finish hands down the best person we have worked with for any house/garden related work. Daryl designed our townhouse garden, although the space was smallish the design impact is incredibly high and we love the space. The reason we chose Daryl for the project was because unlike other garden designers who bring in contractors to execute on the design, Daryl pretty much does all the work himself, bringing in specialists where needed (ironmongery, joiner, etc). This means the completed project is as close to the design and Daryl was very invested throughout to make sure the design comes to life. Daryl's communication, professionalism and hard work is notable too - we were always kept informed of timelines, and he has a consultative approach to any changes that might result in a better outcome. From design to the hands on execution, the attention to detail is high - and Daryl was very good at understanding how we would use the space, as well as designing for longevity. We were impressed by his knowledge about plants, and how he brought the entire design together by planting appropriately (in the right places). And with some good tips and tricks to make the garden lower maintenance than it might look. Daryl made sure everything was completed to a high standard, no rough edges or rushed last bits that would compromise the overall aesthetic. And the best part is at no point were we worried that things weren't going according to plan - having a stress free project is a miracle in itself.....we couldn't be happier and look forward to enjoying our garden for years to come.
