Never been here before favouring other garden centres. But that was a mistake, this is an excellent garden centre and a real one not a glorified furniture shop and all that other rubbish. Arthurs restaurant breakfast was also very good.

Well-stocked garden center but I've only ever gone with my parents to eat at Arthur's. A good selection of sandwiches and freshly-baked cakes etc. in a light and airy oasis amidst the plants.

Went to Coolings at Knockholt to buy some garden paving. We were fortunate to be offered assistance by Nigel who is a credit to Coolings . Nigel could not have been more helpful in answering questions about the paving available and nothing was too much trouble to him . He even wheeled our paving slabs to checkout and loaded them for us into our car . Fantastic Customer Service. Thank you Nigel & well done Coolings .

I like Coolings. A good plants person place. Good quality plants, maybe a little more expensive than Polhill for example, but quality is really good. Vast range of plants, I aspire to get one of their beautiful acers! Staff all seem to know their stuff. All very accessible, large car park with good blue badge parking. Nice cafe, always found the food good. Fairly even hard pathways throughout. Can get really busy.

Our medium sized garden, front and back, has been magnificently transformed by Oakleigh Manor. The work was carried out by a truly expert team, who achieved the makeover with absolute efficiency. We both could not be more pleased about how the plan was carried out. Our garden is now perfect for us to enjoy. The team who did the work were so nice to have around, and their timekeeping was excellent. We can thoroughly recommend Oakleigh Manor to anyone, knowing they will not be disappointed.

We found Oakleigh Manor Horticultural Services based on a word of mouth recommendation. We have worked with them for more than a year and have found them to be really exceptional. It's clear that they value their clients and take pride in their work. David is an assured and knowledgeable plantsman and brings deep horticultural expertise. He is also intuitive about the shapes and growth patterns of gardens, and sensitive to wildlife and environmental sustainability issues. I really challenge Oakleigh with a variety of planting schemes, including a reforesting project involving a great deal of tree planting in difficult clay and chalk conditions. They have managed everything I have thrown at them. David and the team are very organised and proactive in planning out what needs doing across the seasons. Oakleigh’s annual maintenance package is a game-changer, providing structured care and cost predictability. It means you can plan for busy periods in the growing season and spread the cost across the year, and you know exactly when they will be coming. Having the same core staff means that the gardeners come to know the garden really well and develop a feel for what their clients want. Their staff seem very happy and have great camaraderie, which is always a good sign. Nothing is too much trouble and they are punctual, professional, responsive, and extremely hard-working. It’s evident to us that Oakleigh Manor prioritises both client and employee well-being, and our garden has never looked better.

We have used Oakleigh now for a number of years. Our back garden was beautifully transformed using Victor's innovative design plan. This was reduced to practice by project manager Mark and his team who worked professionally throughout the pandemic. With the expert help of their carpenter and electrician, they delivered the desired hard landscaping that was subsequently finished off with well-chosen planting schemes. We then used Oakleigh again to provide a new porous ashphalt drive at the front. Stuart, Mark and team did a great job and Rebecca was a star in the office, co-ordinating the entire project.

Recently I contacted Oakleigh Manor to ask what I could do about post rot that I had to the green oak posts of my Gazebo. They suggested staddle stones and this work has been carried out. What a absolute fabulous job they did. Mark, Oakleigh's carpenter, attended and carried out the work to perfection. Not only was his work exceptional, he was a total pleasure to speak to, clean, tidy and professional. I cannot fault Oakleigh Manor and would highly recommend them for any garden design projects you have, or indeed carpentry, as I required. I hope to be able to employ Oakleigh Manor in the future. It was just wonderful, as a single woman, to have a job which I cared about a great deal carried out with professionalism and skill, with no stress and worry.
