Katherine really captured our brief and created such a clever garden design with spaces (zones!) that feel diverse but still manage to flow together beautifully – a cool contemporary patio, leading to a dynamic gravel garden, and the pond area for that moment of calm and contemplation :) Coupled with a planting scheme that encourages biodiversity as well as providing all-year interest AND show-stopping blooms. In contrast to our old garden (under-utilised, unruly, ‘a bit boring’), we now have a space that has become an extension of our living area, and enjoyed by all family members- the transformation is truly fabulous. Pond-watching has become my new favourite pastime (and spamming Katherine with pictures of dragonflies and newts (!))

Katherine designed a willow den for children to play in at Whitchurch Silk Mill. This has become a firm favourite of the families who visit the Mill. It is an enchanting little spot. Even though this was a very small project Katherine’s approach was dedicated to providing a high quality finish on time. We hope generations of children will continue to enjoy a trip to the den for generations to come.

I've worked with Katherine on several garden projects over the past 4 years and have been incredibly happy with the results. Katherine made excellent use of the natural slope of our garden, creating a tiered layout of terraces nestled into the a steep hillside with winding steps. She embraced the technical challenges of this project and we have the garden we always wanted.
