Alex and his team have done a wonderful job transforming my garden. They really worked hard and pruned back my shrubs and dug over my borders which are very large. They also are proper gardeners and also very tidy and reliable. I highly recommend them.

I contacted Alex and his team about a post-winter garden refresh and clean up and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The team were professional and did a fantastic job in our garden that needed a lot of TLC. Alex managed to fit us in at short notice and got the job done efficiently. The pricing was reasonable and worth every penny because the garden looks awesome. Thank you to Alex and his team and we will be contacting him to come and do some regular maintenance in the future.

Adam has designed the most beautiful garden for us, which was implemented and finalised in September 2023. I was really impressed by Adam design process, details attention and professionalism. Adam Vetere did an amazing job when designing my 100 sqm roof terrace. He was professional, courteous and efficient throughout the process, and his design exceeded my expectations in every respect. The greatest hurdle to overcome with designing a roof terrace is to work within considerable weight limitations and yet to still come up with a pleasing result and make it all look effortless. Adam achieved all that and I could not be more happy with the results. Working with Adam on this project was a pleasure. He was always available and helpful on the phone or by email when I had a query … not a ‘given’ these days. I can highly recommend Adam. If I could give him 10 stars, I happily would.

Adam has designed a beautiful garden for us, which we hope will be implemented in the coming month or two. Update Aug 2022 Our garden has now been completed and we are absolutely delighted. Despite only increasing the useable area of the garden by a relatively small amount (with a stunning cantilevered deck over a steep slope in the garden), Adam’s clever design means our garden feels very much larger than it did. We have areas for the children to play and three separate seating areas, all tied together by a beautiful planting scheme. We want to be outside all the time! We are so impressed with the way the design maximises the special and unusual setting of our garden in the surrounding landscape. The garden is full of bees and butterflies all day, so we really feel that the project has had a positive impact on the environment around us, too. Adam’s support during the whole design and build process was exemplary. He clearly has strong links in the industry - the contractor he recommended to complete the project was excellent, and Adam was on hand whenever we or the build team needed design or planting guidance. We can’t recommend him highly enough!

From the outset, working with Adam has been an absolute pleasure. He listened to my ramblings, asked me insightful questions and managed to capture every nuance of those conversations. The end result is beyond anything I could have imagined and is the essence of everything I had hoped for. The garden entices me in and indeed commands my attention, but the focal point is the pergola; its bold, structural form is the perfect foil for the lush, architectural planting and the natural elements which surround it. It is stunning - as soon as I saw the design, I knew I had to have it in my garden. We inherited Nathan when we moved into our house. We have used him continuously for the last 12 years. During this time he has undertaken all sorts of garden work ranging from lawn cutting, scarifying, de-mossing and re-seeding through hedge and bush pruning and re-shaping to patio, wall and fence construction and repair. His work has always been high quality, he has never let us down and we trust him implicitly. He has my strongest recommendation.

After contacting boundaries and borders, Nathan soon came to discuss and look at what i wonted and the work needed for my new fence, patio and grassed area. Nathan gave me some great advice in a few things I hadn't thought about. After accepting the price and quote for all the work agreed, Nathan and his team soon began the work. Joe and his team did fantastic work on our blank canvas newbuild garden. He listened to what design I had in my head, provided advice in terms of the land we were working with, costs etc, and helped bring my ideas to life. During the process I thought of something additional to be done, and again Joe came up with great ideas and quickly adapted to what we wanted. Our garden is unrecognisable to how it was before Joe got his hands on it. It was clear Joe cared alot about his work, and at times I think he was fussier than me with getting things looking perfect! I felt Joe was very trustworthy, he worked hard and it was a enjoyable process having him and his team here for 1.5 weeks. Would certainly recommend and use Joe again in the future if we need more work done. Thank you Joe and team!

Joe has just completed our garden renovation over two weeks. We had a new patio, raised bed and turf. We wanted to leave a review because we are delighted with his work. We were very surprised to see the previous review which appeared to paint Joe in a bad light as a rude and callous man. During the whole time Joe was with us he never once got angry or lost his temper or swore. He was the complete opposite. Calm and polite. The work undertaken by Joe was completed in a timely fashion and to the highest standards. There were minor issues that Joe resolved free of charge. The charges specified were kept to and in some cases reduced. Detritus and refuse were removed free of charge. We were very happy to pay the fee specified and do not understand how anybody could possibly say such a polite person as Joe was threatening and aggressive and rude. He has been an absolute delight to work with. We have further work at the front of the house and have engaged Joe to do this once we have funds in place. We cannot recommend Joe highly enough and his professional attitude to his work.

Very rarely do I post reviews, on this occasion I truly believe Rain or Shine deserve my 5 ⭐️. I got in touch with Joe back in February for a quote as I knew any reputable landscaper would be very busy in the coming months, having decided to go with him we arranged a start date for July. Although my back garden was a small project for Joe to work on he gave what I believe to be 💯 commitment. I cannot fault him on his cheerfulness ,good humour and professionalism. From the very beginning of meeting Joe to him completing work on my back garden he advised me throughout on aspects someone only with his knowledge would have in landscaping , this turned out to be invaluable having never done anything myself like this before . Finally I want to thank those Joe has working for him, without them he could not complete jobs in a timely fashion as they did for me.They worked hard with so much enthusiasm and good humour, all of them should be proud on what they achieve for there customers. Although I paid for the service of Rain or Shine saying thank you for doing such a marvellous job costs me nothing . I would definitely recommend Rain or Shine.

My back garden was looking very tired, and in need an extreme overhaul. Joe, Ronnie and Bon did an amazing job, and worked through some horrendous weather to make sure it was finished on time. The pictures really do speak for themselves, and we are more than happy with the excellent results that they achieved.
