Very pleased with David Taylor's work in my back garden: ground clearance and pond filled in. Paving slabs laid with precision over hardcore base. Slabs and chippings over membrane. All materials removed and David is very helpful and pays attention to detail.

Brimstone were recommended to us by a friend. On time, on budget, trustworthy to have around and you couldn’t fault the quality of the work. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again…or to recommend them. A very good service.

Cannot recommend Brook Landscaping enough! Bought hedges from Hampshire Hedges and they recommended him. Lovely friendly guy, very responsive to messages and gave a clear quote, he offered removals and mulching but I didn't feel pressured at all to take him up on the "extras". The pricing was brilliant, we got the old stumps grinded down, hedges planted, mulch on top with soil removed as well and it was all carried out in a day. Very very impressed with the work, his honesty and professionalism, if we ever need any other work doing, he will be the ones we use!

Andy and his assistant trimmed our hedges as requested and tidied up after themselves Friendly and efficient as always.

I'm very particular about work standards, but had no worries as they are clearly perfectionist, and take pride in their work! We have been using South Coast Gardeners for weeding and lawn cutting on a regular basis since the business was first established. Ali & Charlie have a strong work ethic. Nothing is too much trouble. We requested the expertise and services of Love It Lawns to work their magic for us - we were not disappointed. From start to finish they were amazing. I'm very happy to leave a review for Sutherlands, as they recently finished our new driveway and we're very happy with the results. Our old gravel drive was causing some problems inside our house, as it was contributing to damp with poor drainage, so we were worried about finding a company that would not only do a good looking drive, but would be aware of the technicalities of how it was affecting the house itself. Sutherlands understood all this straight away and made suggestions for solving those problems, as well as for doing what was going to look good too. David, the owner, was easy to deal with, with good fast communication. The guys actually doing the work were Steve and Geoff and they were superb - probably the best tradesmen we've ever had on any job. They were decent, friendly, helpful and amazing workers. The care and attention to detail they put in, and their skill at very difficult work was really impressive. Several of our neighbours have even come up to me and said how they noticed how much care and pride they seemed to have in the work they were doing. They seemed to have no problem recommending things that would make their jobs more difficult, going the extra mile for the sake of doing a good quality job. Both of them are a big asset to Sutherlands. We're extremely pleased with the end result and definitely highly recommend Steve, Geoff and Dave of Sutherlands.

We live in a new build house and recently had our blank canvas of a garden landscaped by David and his team, adding 2 patios, a path, stepping stones, a shed base and sleeper beds. The whole process was smooth right from the start and nothing was too much trouble. David worked with us to settle on a design, quickly updating quotes and making suggestions for materials. Work started quickly and the guys on site, Steve and Jeff, were absolutely brilliant. Always on time, polite and professional. They had really practical solutions for all the details that popped up along the way and their input made a huge difference in turning the design into a reality. We're so pleased with how the garden looks now & can't wait for the warmer weather to enjoy it. We cannot recommend Sutherlands highly enough.

Huge thank you to Southampton homes for transforming our garden. The guys really put their stamp on it by suggesting some wicked little details and helping our vision become a reality. After ripping up rotten decking and replacing with sandstone patio, and also building a custom huge pergola to eventually create a living canopy of climbing flowers, creating shade over a second big patio at the end of the garden. This was unused, overgrown useless space before.

We hadn't heard of Sutherlands before, but they had good reviews online so we got them round to quote for some landscaping. They turned up on time, listened to what we wanted and explained what they could do given what they had to work with. Their quote was reasonable and so we booked them to do the job. A couple of days in and we noticed a couple of things that we wanted changing. We pointed this out and the next day they rectified matters without quibble. Thomas was in charge of the job and everything went smoothly. Communication was always good, requests were replied to in good time, Sutherlands were good to their word and always turned up on time. Upon completion there were a couple of small snags which were put right promptly without question. The two new patios and raised flower beds look excellent and we are very pleased with the standard of work done. I would highly recommend Sutherlands, they were easy to deal with and have done a great job.

The skilful team completed the job as requested, including additions and changes as the work commenced. There were some issues with a supplier, which were dealt with appropriately. Would recommend.

I am so pleased with the transformation these guys did to my garden. They listened to my ideas and came up with a design that ticked all the boxes. We modified the design a little as we went, and nothing was a problem. They worked through the awful weather of winter 23/spring 24 and I had a garden that everyone was blown away by Easter.
