Aaron has done a range of garden landscaping for us over the past twelve month since we moved to Cheriton. This has included extensive ground works and building of large raised beds, shuttering to level our garden, building a large pergola, fencing and double width gate construction, custom made side gate to fit a tricky space, creation of garden beds from an original turfed area and the removal of a large dying silver birch tree. He is always exceptionally responsive, delivers a high quality finish and works with us to understand what we want whilst offering professional advice (which always turns out to be good advice!) We always go back to Aaron for all our garden landscaping work and highly recommend.

You can rely on Aaron. With his cheerful "can do' approach, most things are achievable and if they can't be done one way, he will find another. Working in a tight space over a hot bank holiday weekend, Aaron and Paul dug out, extended, widened and shored up my existing garden steps thereby making them safer and easy to use. They then prepared the ground for and laid a concrete base for my existing shed which I had asked them to relocate. They provided all the materials and removed all debris, clearing as they went and leaving a spotlessly clean space. After 2 days of hot hard work the job was done and I can now benefit daily from an attractive, safe and functional garden space. Thank you A Friend Garden Services.

We live in a country house with a 1 acre garden in rural Hampshire which was full of uninteresting and overgrown shrubs and lacked the country cottage feel and form we were looking for. Faith provided us with a full 3D design and planting plan for different areas of our garden which helped us visualise what it could look like. She came up with new ideas for features and inclusions we would not have thought of ourselves and had great connections with good quality manufacturers and suppliers we would not have considered. Faith and her team then worked incredibly hard to plant up 100s of plants in two days in the wind and rain! Faith is exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about all things horticulture and I would not hesitate to recommend her to others requiring direction and vision for their country garden.

Shout-out to Faith for designing planting plans for three of our borders and doing the actual planting too. Our sorry looking bare borders had been a source of stress for us for way too long as they needed doing but I just didn’t feel confident with what plants to choose and how to best fill them. Faith did a brill job with the design, ordering the plants, improving the soil and planting hundreds(?) of beautiful plants into the borders with her lovely team. For us, the planting itself would have taken weeks probably, Faith and the team did it very efficiently in two days. We are so relieved it’s now done – well worth the money spent! – and happy with how they look now. And they are only getting better as the plants establish over winter and start growing and blooming next spring and summer. Can’t wait to see that! Thank you Faith!

I don't have much of a garden so booked the bulb planting workshop whereby we would prepare a pot with bulbs in layers to enjoy the following spring. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Faith at My Country Garden - we received a warm welcome and a really interesting and clear presentation before getting to work, with everything we needed already laid out. The end result was gorgeous - many weeks of ever-changing shapes and colour, made all the more gratifying knowing I'd planted it up myself. Faith not only knows her stuff but is a charming and well organised workshop host.

There was a great exchange of ideas and Dan was able to use his expertise to create a design that fitted with our vision. He delivered on time and within budget. Dan was very attentive and very cost-effective. He went to considerable trouble to really understand what we wanted. Unlike another designer who wanted £5,000 just for a straightforward design. We shall be implementing his design scheme in the next 2-3 months. Highly recommended!

After contacting boundaries and borders, Nathan soon came to discuss and look at what i wonted and the work needed for my new fence, patio and grassed area. Nathan gave me some great advice in a few things I hadn't thought about. After accepting the price and quote for all the work agreed, Nathan and his team soon began the work. In 5 days my garden was transformed better than I could have pictured or expected. We inherited Nathan when we moved into our house. We have used him continuously for the last 12 years. During this time he has undertaken all sorts of garden work ranging from lawn cutting, scarifying, de-mossing and re-seeding through hedge and bush pruning and re-shaping to patio, wall and fence construction and repair. Very rarely do I post reviews, on this occasion I truly believe Rain or Shine deserve my 5 ⭐️. I got in touch with Joe back in February for a quote as I knew any reputable landscaper would be very busy in the coming months, having decided to go with him we arranged a start date for July. Although my back garden was a small project for Joe to work on he gave what I believe to be 💯 commitment. I cannot fault him on his cheerfulness ,good humour and professionalism. From the very beginning of meeting Joe to him completing work on my back garden he advised me throughout on aspects someone only with his knowledge would have in landscaping , this turned out to be invaluable having never done anything myself like this before . Finally I want to thank those Joe has working for him, without them he could not complete jobs in a timely fashion as they did for me.They worked hard with so much enthusiasm and good humour, all of them should be proud on what they achieve for there customers. Although I paid for the service of Rain or Shine saying thank you for doing such a marvellous job costs me nothing . I would definitely recommend Rain or Shine.

Contacted Joe for artificial lawn, he proceeded to give me a price and managed to fit the work in within a week due to another client cancelling. Joe said the job would take 2 and a half days, but due to unforseen circumstances his artificial lawn supplier was late with the delivery, Joe and his team worked into the evening to ensure the job was finished on time. He also had to remove the neighbours fence panel to get the digger in and left no damages to neighbours property. Very professional and keeps you updated with times of what everything is happening.

Joe has just completed our garden renovation over two weeks. We had a new patio, raised bed and turf. We wanted to leave a review because we are delighted with his work. We were very surprised to see the previous review which appeared to paint Joe in a bad light as a rude and callous man. During the whole time Joe was with us he never once got angry or lost his temper or swore. He was the complete opposite. Calm and polite. The work undertaken by Joe was completed in a timely fashion and to the highest standards. There were minor issues that Joe resolved free of charge. The charges specified were kept to and in some cases reduced. Detritus and refuse were removed free of charge. We were very happy to pay the fee specified and do not understand how anybody could possibly say such a polite person as Joe was threatening and aggressive and rude. He has been an absolute delight to work with. We have further work at the front of the house and have engaged Joe to do this once we have funds in place. We cannot recommend Joe highly enough and his professional attitude to his work.

Joe and his team did fantastic work on our blank canvas newbuild garden. He listened to what design I had in my head, provided advice in terms of the land we were working with, costs etc, and helped bring my ideas to life. During the process I thought of something additional to be done, and again Joe came up with great ideas and quickly adapted to what we wanted. Our garden is unrecognisable to how it was before Joe got his hands on it. It was clear Joe cared alot about his work, and at times I think he was fussier than me with getting things looking perfect! I felt Joe was very trustworthy, he worked hard and it was a enjoyable process having him and his team here for 1.5 weeks.
