Just had tea and cake at this lovely little coffee shop, which is attached to the church so shares some of the unique features, such as a vaulted ceiling. The tea was good and plentiful. The banana/choc chip muffins were some of the best I've tasted. All very good value for money. The volunteers running the place we're very friendly and my daughter was offered a picture to colour and given a prize for it once complete. Just a small selection of food on offer the afternoon we went, but not bad for a place this size. The overall feel of the place is lovely, including photos & historical info of the Swanmore area hung on the walls. We will definitely plan a return visit.

Wonderfully caring and compassionate team. Izzy has been twice now, once for an initial consultation with Vojciech and once for surgery with Natalie. I was was a little apprehensive as previous visits to another local vet haven’t been too positive, but I need not have worried. They were so kind and gentle with Izzy. They explained everything fully in great detail and I felt very reassured leaving her in their hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team at Bluebell.

We’re so incredibly pleased to have come across this Vet clinic. We had an upsetting emergency with our poorly Lab and have been asked to come in immediately, we were registered by a lovely receptionist Crystal who was very compassionate and friendly. She came out of her way to make our dog feel comfortable. Wojciech, the Vet Surgeon, has been very supportive and informative, he’s explained everything carefully to us and made sure to take a good assessment of our dog. He’s made an excellent diagnosis and treatment plan, and our dog has recovered, to our huge surprise. This was only possible thanks to Wojciech’s thorough assessment and excellent care. Thank you so so much for the team’s support. I truly recommend Bluebell Vets to any pet owner who seeks top notch care and treatment of their pet ❤️

The team at bluebell are great. The vet is super knowledgeable, skilled and patient with both my anxious dog and with all my questions. One of the best vets I have encountered. He diagnosed cancer in my dog's toe. The surgery the vet performed was successful and she is back to enjoying her walks cancer free.

I had been with my previous independent vet for over 20 years but having recently moved house it was necessary to find a practice that was closer. I do not find the big chains very personal so I was delighted to find Blubell who are also independent. The vet was thorough and knowledgeable and I was pleased to also be able to discuss the current health protocols of my particular dog breed. I am sure my dogs will be in safe hands with Bluebell.

We adopted a Chihuahua a year ago. She is new to our family and can be nervous and she is certainly really scared of vets and having her nails clipped. In the past we had awful experiences where she became so distressed and loud at the vet. This experience at Bluebell was completely different. We have been twice now and Wojciech quickly builds trust and put our dog at ease as well as providing detailed knowledge in even a short session. Would recommend to everyone.

I would highly recommend this practice. I find dental appointments extremely stressful, but the care, patience & compassion given by all the staff is incredible. They don’t make you feel silly for being nervous, they explain in simple terms what they’re doing & why and every single member of staff are really caring, helpful and friendly. I recently had 2 extractions (which I was dreading), but they talked me through it, listened to my concerns, helped me stay calm and made it much easier than I had anticipated. I’ve had some very difficult experiences at previous Dentists, so to find a practice where I am listened to and cared for is a real game changer for me. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

The reception and dentistry staff are all very friendly, kind and understanding. I am sure they are all excellent, but in my experience Jade, Shannon, Adnan, Loretta and Sammi really put you at ease. And I really appreciate their clear communication so I understand my dental health and what I need to do to support it. I feel confident that a visit to them means I’m in safe hands. Here’s two examples of their work I really appreciated. First, I was so nervous for my very first new patient consultation - but chatting with Jade really helped me feel welcome and relaxed. Honestly, that really meant a lot to me and was an excellent first impression that has lasted. And secondly, they very kindly kept my appointment even though I was running very late just before doors closed. And my wisdom tooth extraction with Adnan and Loretta went very smoothly! I felt so worried as it was my first ever major dental procedure, but I needn’t have as they took great care in their work even thought it was the last thing in the working day. Lovely friendly team. Great appointment to have teeth cleaned after 3 years!! I was very nervous due to chronic pain disorder and previous bad experiences at my old dentist. Very considerate and listened to my concerns. Teeth cleaned very well with no pain at all. Very happy. Would recommend.

I’ve been coming to Oceana Boulevard Dentist for around 10 years now! I’ve always been an extremely nervous patient, but with each visit, I find myself feeling less and less anxious. My 8 year old daughter also goes to the same practice and absolutely loves it here. She’s had a few procedures, and we’ve never had any issues. In fact, she’s always excited to come, even for something like a tooth extraction! That’s how comfortable and at ease the team makes her feel. I think I’ve now been seen by every practitioner here, and they are all amazing—always welcoming and very friendly. The reception team is also incredible, and I truly appreciate all of you! I couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you! ☺️

I visited yesterday with Reggie my Cocker Spaniel because he has been head shaking and scratching for too long. We were seen by Jamie (I asked to see him when I made my appointment ) he explained exactly what he thought was bothering Reggie and put him on steroids which we hope will work and make Reggie more comfortable. Jamie takes time to talk with me and I am very impressed with the treatment.

New to the area and was looking for a vet. I chose Hampshire Vet because they are not part of a group, they have their own 24 hour care which is most important as they will know your pet. My 15 year old dog was diagnosed with a mass on his spleen and had to have the spleen removed. I cannot thank the staff enough for their excellent care prior, during and after the operation. Hopefully I will have him for a few more years. I thoroughly recommend this veterinary practice.

Simply put, I don’t think our English Cocker Spaniel would be here without the skill of all the staff and especially Theofanis Liatus at Southern Counties. After operating on Charlie to repair a slipped disc in the neck, we have a very happy dog with a new lease of life. Playful and importantly pain free after a horrendous episode. Theo’s skill navigated tremendous risk associated with the actual procedure on an 11 year old dog, but it had got to the point we had to give it a go. Theo came through for us and his words “He’s breathing on his own” sum up the momentous achievement Theo delivered and the fight for life left in Charlie. Forever grateful to Theo and Southern Counties. Picture of Charlie as he should be, relaxed, and recovering well!

On referral to here we were greated and dealt with ASAP. Our cat had eye injury with something in his eye. The staff were amazing, considerate and gave us time alone to discuss with each other the way forwards with his eye. James operated on Jaz and saved his eye,extremely clever person and had explained the operation so well to us, plus the after care. He has now been seen for after checking and is leading the life of a cat again much to his joy and ours. Thank you all at Southern Counties Veterinary.

Unfortunately my poor spaniel has spent too much time at Southern Counties, thankfully they are such a caring, professional & specialist vet that each time Lola visits we know she is in such safe hands, we are constantly kept up to date with Lola's condition and welfare which helps ease the worry. They took amazing care of my little dog, had a specialist consult with Ana and she had him in surgery that afternoon, he was incredibly well looked after in the days following the surgery and they have been happy to answer any emails or questions I’ve had since, he’s recovering remarkably well, extremely talented vets and great customer service. For our little fury family it’s worth the cost to be seen by true specialists

Both Ruth and Alice are amazing vets - so gentle, kind and thorough with everything they do. Great at answering any questions, follow ups and genuinley care about the animals they see. Always taken care of well by the receptionists and the nurses behind the scenes too, wouldn't take my pets anywhere else

I phoned at 18:00 as I had come off work and my usual vets close at this time. My dog was accepted as long as I arrived in the time slot provided as they close at 19:00. The staff member who answered my call was good with my nervousness and dealt well with my queries. My dog was seen in five minutes of me arriving at the vets. Dr. Cave is very nice and cared about my dogs comfort during the appointment. He was very happy to explain what he thought was going on and how to administer the medication prescribed and what exactly the medication does. He also explained what I could do depending on how my dog’s wound heals. He was very kind and patient and made sure to talk to me and my partner during the appointment so we were both included in my pets care.

Bought my dog in unregistered and unannounced under an emergency with a piece of bone stuck in her mouth. They quickly sedated her and sorted it out. The price was really reasonable considering it was an emergency and they had to put all other patients on hold. The vet and all reception staff was so caring and helpful in a Horrible situation they couldn’t have been better and I would hesitate to return or recommend.

The new email system for routine appointments is very efficient and we were seen the same day. I called on arrival and waited outside, lovely Clare called me back to take some information then came out to collect my dog. My dog is 16 and gets anxious, so although I understand why, I was apprehensive about leaving her, but she came out very calm, accompanied by Clare who explained her treatment plan and brought out medication. For payment I contacted them the following day. They have clearly worked hard to find a system that ensures everyone is safe. Very friendly and efficient service, and I felt they really cared for my lovely old lady. I would recommend without hesitation.

Without doubt the best vets in the area, by a long way. We have been coming here since 2020 when my cat needed an operation - with Claire’s excellent care she is now still in perfect health - another vet practice told me to have her put down! Moira and Kim on reception are both lovely, very kind and friendly both on coming in and leaving, and very helpful on the phone. Claire is by far the best vet we have ever visited, excellent thorough advice and explains things really clearly but also so warm and friendly. Always have fantastic service here and wouldn’t go anywhere else

Stunning, I completely understand why Josie's is always packed with queues out the door! First visit to the area, I would visit here every week if I could. The chicken, bacon, BBQ cheese toastie was delightful, pals chicken benedict tasted like happiness. Bloody Mary's, a must-have for the BM fans!

We have used Christopher Carter vets for many years with 4 different cats. I've been with this vet practice for a few years now and since day 1 both the vet team and reception staff have been very warm, understanding, kind and attentive to my pets needs. The vets have always been lovely and happy to answer any questions and I even got a follow up call about my pet to see how he is doing the following day. Every vet I've seen here is passionate about animals and has treated my pets like they were their own.

I had an excellent experience with this vets. The staff were incredibly helpful and informative throughout the entire process. The vet who tended to Koko was exceptionally kind and gentle. He handled her with great care and made sure she felt comfortable and at ease. It is evident that Koko is in good hands, and I truly appreciate the compassionate treatment she received. I highly recommend this surgery.
