Firstly the coffee was nice. Secondly the service was excellent. Lastly I cannot thank the staff enough, the lady who helped my mother on the stairlift was excellent, she assisted & made sure she made it safely to top. Would definitely return if in the area.

A very clean café plenty of seating inside and out. Not the cheapest I've been to in town but still enjoyed my visit. Friendly staff and great service.

Fantastic bar. Had a really enjoyable evening. Good drinks and the karaoke was awesome fun. Reay like the feel of the place. Great vibes. Will definitely be visiting again whilst in Skegness.

Had my birthday here and it was so lovely. The staff were so nice and accommodating and everyone had a lovely time. Very grateful x

This campsite is a superb find if you want peace quiet and beer 🍺 Theed loos/ showers are very clean and even warmer ! The brewery tour us excellent. We loved it and will be back

Fantastic Brewery Tour! Lee, the Tour Guide was excellent - very friendly, professional and full of Batemans knowledge. Thoroughly enjoyable 2 hours and will go again next year. Very highly recommended.

Had a tour of Batemans Brewery recently. If I’m honest I had over done it on butter as a teenager and hadn’t really touched it since. I was pleasantly surprised by XB as it tasted rather nice. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great presence about him. The whole tour was brilliant. Great organisation, very knowledgeable guide and the history of the brewery is fascinating! Thoroughly recommended!

Me and my partner revisited this lovely pub, had a beer battered fish and chips and scampi and chips washed down with some local ales, service was excellent.. food was absolutely scrumptious.. atmosphere is friendly and warm..lovely beer garden to enjoy the quite lincolnshire countryside and watch the sunsets.. Would defo recomend😀

This was my second visit to the old Chequers inn. We had the 2 course special on a Saturday for 2 people and 2 pints of Moretti for under £30! We also visited today as they had a live band playing. Lovely pub in a beautiful countryside location. We will definitely be visiting again.

Good food and well cooked. We went as a group of 12 for a Sunday lunch. Food was nice and tasty and plenty of it, BUT the service was not the best, and were pretty much told to leave after an hour as the table was needed! Didn't even get chance to order dessert. Also felt very squished in.

Great little site we stayed for one night £12 as we didnt need EHU, owner very friendly and easy going. Toilets/showers & cleaning areas very clean. We will be back next year possibly in the tent with family. Lovely village and local pubs, everyone we spoke to was very friendly and out going.

Great size pitches and although close to a busy road was not too noisy. Toilet/shower facilities were very clean but with 1 male and female shower you had to either shower very early or very late.

Fantastic Campsite! We were looking for a place to spend a couple of days with our caravan near Skegness and we were very lucky to find Grange Farm Campsite: it's a spacious place with lots of green areas, very quiet and safe. The services are exceptional: electricity point next to the caravan, new and spotless bathrooms including showers and a room with 2 sinks for washing the dishes. The staff is very friendly and kind, always willing to help. The owner is called Trevor and he personally took care of us so that we were as well as possible. It has honestly been our best camping experience, we will come back... 100% recommended!! P.S. To access from the A52, take the Boston Road B1195 and then turn right towards Riverside Farm Cottages.

We booked a hardstanding pitch to give our camper van a dry run and were really pleasantly surprised. The pitches are very generous and the toilets were clean and well provisioned. There was a washing up room to clean your dishes etc, and a myriad of bins to get rid of your rubbish. My only gripe was around lack of clarity. Beyond signage to get you to the site there is nothing to point you to check-in, so we ended up calling the advertised number and being told to just pick a pitch and then pitch up (which is great), but we were then not told anything about where to find fresh water, or where to dispose of grey water etc... we found the fresh water eventually (hidden behind a pitch), but we ended up taking our grey water away with us. All in all, its a great quiet site in a lovely location with very competitive pricing for its vicinity to Skegness. I am going to just chalk down the lack of information about checkin/provisions to the fact that we came off season.

Fish and chips were excellent, cooked quickly as well when they didn't have any fish ready. Proper old school seaside fish and chips place. Also phenomenal value for portion sizes and food quality.

This place has an amazing design and atmosphere the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The food is stunning and freshly made. The chocolate fudgecake is partner approved and it is all well priced. Can't recommend enough.

Really good food. Beautiful inside, although we sat outside in the sunshine. Their trifles are lovely. Proper large homemade ones. Steak pie and chips very good too. Very nice ladies in there. We would certainly go again.

Second time here with 6 year gap. The pub itself is lovely and it's hosts are a credit to their proffession. Mike really helpful . The bed really comfy and nice bedding and very clean. The room itself quite basic. The secondary glazing didnt close but street not busy after 8.30pm ish so not a big problem but room cold and couldn't get radiator any warmer. We ran hot water for 10 mins but still cool. No heating in bathroom so didnt shower with that and no hot water.. The main problem was the water outlet pipe is in bedroom and made noise literally al, night like it was filling up something or someone having a shower so not a great nights sleep.. We got a deal with booking.com so didnt pay a lot but wouuldnt of wanted to pay any more than we did for this particular room as not the same standard as last one we had when paid more. Having said all that it is a lovely place you get free parking right outside

We came in for a meal on 2 consecutive nights and had a fabulous meal on both occasions. The servings were large and the food was very tasty - exactly what a pub should be. You don't be disappointed

What a warm welcome we got from the landlord when we went for a meal here. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. A lovely village pub.

Popped in for a pint on the way back home. The bar area is really cosy and has a nice feel to it. The bar staff were very welcoming and helpful. There’s a car park to the rear and also a free car park opposite the front of the pub. Nice selection of drinks available and it also has a very peaceful outdoor area to the rear of the pub. Drinks prices seem to be average for the area.

Very tasty and fresh meats, way above my expectactions. Even salad is nice and fresh with olive rather than vinegar which is quite refreshing. Service is as well very sympathetic and professional. Definitely recommending kebab special if you are looking for high quality take away. Portion is large as well, so 2 average People will be satisfied with it.

Good, well cooked food at a good price. They would get 5 stars if they started a delivery service. Hope they will consider this.

This place is amazing, quite big on the inside and plenty of space outside with glass shelding the seating area. Perfect for keep out the breeze while still being able to view the beach. Food is amazing and if you can't eat it all, they'll give you a box to take it home.

First visit for me here and was one of the best meals I have had for a while in a restaurant! Food piping hot, delicious and very hearty portions. Shouldn't have had pudding but again everything just looked too good to miss! Will definitely be back

Review of The View Cafe Bar, Skegness (04/01/25) The View near Skegness is a lovely spot, especially during the sunmmer and festive season. The Grinch Christmas tree was fantastic, and the seasonal decorations added a delightful touch. While the outdoor seating area is perfect for summer, today's weather called for a cozy warm indoor experience. We did enjoy a brisk beach walk, which is easily accessible from The View. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea options. Afternoon tea requires advance booking. The food is always good value for money. However,my personal view the multi-colored menus/book can be a bit overwhelming and distracting from the actual food and drink offerings. Today, I opted for a simple grated cheese, tomato, and onion sandwich on brown bread. It was absolutely delicious and came with a refreshing side salad. I wish I had added a portion of chips to complete the meal. I also couldn't resist trying one of their strawberry cream scones. While a bit dry, they were still enjoyable. My partner's food and Christmas cookie were also very well-received.
