Stayed in wainfleet and thought we would try the local Sunday roast.what a lovely roast at a very reasonable price.I had the lamb and I would recommend to anybody going there.My son had the beef which was first class as well.good selection of veg.well worth a visit

We stayed in a local holiday cottage. Decided to pop in for a few drinks with the dog on Saturday lunchtime to see what the pub was like. Barman was very friendly and welcoming had a few games of pool with our grown up children and couple of drinks. Booked for Sunday lunch it was a lovely carvery with lovely well cooked meats and plenty of different veg. The lady serving the lunch was so friendly and welcoming even gave me some tinfoil to take the left over meat for the dog. Would thoroughly recommend 👌

A beautiful old pub with character. Outside buildings take you back in time. Peaceful setting and a feeling of relaxation. Landlady and partner very friendly and knowledgeable about the pub and local area. A nice place to meet friends and catch-up.

Amazing little pub. Very welcoming by the owners and the locals. The scampi fries challenge was amusing, which Toni won hands down in my opinion and beat you Macca...... You.... (L) 😂👍

We stumbled upon this cracking pub yesterday whilst we were scratching round trying to find somewhere for a short notice Sunday dinner. Definitely not disappointed at all. Squeezing us in at 12.10pm bearing in mind we called at 11.30am arrived to a polite young lad at the bar and told us everything we needed to know as we had a four legged family member with us. Sat in the bar area which was very comfortable and clean. Another polite lady soon brought the cutlery and salt etc out and told us where to get our carvery. My wife went first and came back with a grand looking dinner and said that the lady mentioned we could have some turkey for the pooch if I get it when I go up. Beautifully cooked meat, huge range of fresh hot veg, stuffing, yorkshires the lot. Went down a treat too! All for the cheap sum of £10.95 per head which was spot on considering other places were more expensive and didn’t taste half as nice as this place! Keep up the good work and we will be back when we’re back in the area. Many thanks
