Very pleased with the work that Darren and his team at Dude and Arnette carried out recently for me. When I discovered that the middle of my 3 cowls was leaning backwards and had nothing supporting it Darren was on site within a few hours. Scaffolding was erected quickly and the replacement to all 3 Cowls was carried out in just over a week. Would recommend them without hesitation to anyone. Darren, his son Brandon, and their carpentry team did a stellar restoration of our Oast cowl. The cowl was rotten as it had not been well maintained: the rotting wood could be seen from the ground. The repair work took about 3 weeks - perfectly reasonable for the various coats of paint that go on top of new timber. We are very happy with the results and will be using D&A for future maintenance. It was astonishing to see them at work removing and refitting: fearless at such a height.

Darren and his team replaced our cowl this year and also re-roofed and insulated our kiln very recently. Darren and his entire team are incredibly professional, personable, reliable, do an outstanding job at a reasonable price whilst using top quality materials, are always very accommodating and always responsive. Darren and the team removed and replaced the Cowl on our Oast house.
