James has completed a lot of work at my home over a number of years and he is brilliant. I can't recommend him enough. He can turn his hand to anything and if there's anything he can't do (which is rare), he knows someone who can.

Outside; he has re-positioned my garden shed (single handed), including concrete base; replaced (lowered) decking, which had been laid too high by previous tradesman, laid pebble patio, and put York stone around my garden pond, and put a flat roof on my kitchen. Inside he has designed and built three built in wardrobes (amazing carpenter), decorated two bedrooms, and laid wood flooring in one. He recently turned the carcass of an integral fridge freezer (which died) into a pantry. This has improved my kitchen no end!

James is a perfectionist and his work is always to an incredibly high standard, and he always cleans up after himself leaving everything spotless after every working day. No job is too small and he is so helpful. He even came round at very short notice to rescue a young magpie stuck up my chimney when the World Cup was on!!

I am hoping to get him round to do more work soon...laying engineered wood flooring downstairs, more carpentry work, and decorating. Only hope he can fit me in!

James has worked on my house on several occasions and has consistently excelled all of our expectations. He is versatile and can think outside of the box. He made a bespoke fitting for our bath so that the panel now fits, as we had previously employed a plumber that had installed our bath at the wrong height. He has made wooden panels to finish off our staircase, again poor workmanship left from a previous builder. He supplied and fixed a made to measure mirror in our shower room, it’s perfect and has transformed the room! He’s hung doors and even picture frames. Nothing is too much trouble.
We’re currently employing him to lay new wooden laminate flooring and he’s also going to decorate the bedroom and even put up a curtain pole. He will be dismantling wardrobes and rebuilding them once the floor is fitted.
He is a very skilled carpenter and always delivers and provides excellent workmanship. I thoroughly recommend him.

I have no hesitation recommending James for work of the highest quality. He is an excellent craftsman and completes a job to the highest standard. He is also trustworthy, honest, friendly, tidy and will be flexible around clients needs where necessary. He is someone I will consult in relation to all the needs of my property, whether the jobs are small or large.

James is very reliable and skilled at what he does. He has built fitted wardrobes, cupboards, bespoke kitchen and laid decking in my garden. I would definitely recommend him.

James did an extension to our house which was amazing. He’s also done various other work including a handrail up the stairs for my mum, and painting. James has great attention to detail, he’s a really hard worker and I would highly recommend him.
