Really good experience with Ben and Elliot from Jordan Carpentry.
Although they specialise in historic buildingrestorations, they hung four doors for me and I couldn't be happier with the result.
Initially I was given a 5 week lead time due to their current job load, however Ben managed to complete my job within a week of coming round to view the job and provide a quote.

I wanted to utilise the space under the stairs better than the old fashioned cupboard that was put in place when the house was originally built. Ben listened to what I wanted and advised me how best to achieve this. He and Elliott have arrived on time in the mornings, they advised me of each step and communicated well with me. At the end of each day they cleaned the area where they were working prior to leaving and once the job was finished took everything away. I am really very pleased with the end result, the quality of the work is excellent and it is better than I expected. I would strongly recommend Ben and Elliot to anybody looking for carpentry work.
Could not recommend Ben highly enough! He has recently done a fair bit of work for us including transforming our banister, building bespoke under stairs storage, moving a doorway and building a little cupboard to house our fuse box. Everything Ben does is to the highest standard. Nothing is too much trouble and he completely understood my vision and brought it to life! He is also a pleasure to have around, my Labrador has gone into a deep depression because he misses his buddy. Ben always leaves everything clean and tidy and is mindful of the little ones running around. Couldn’t ask for more, thank you Ben!
We employed Ben to install new ceiling joists under a pyramid roof, including insulation board, air barrier and plasterboard finish in our Grade II listed home. The quality of his workmanship is excellent. Ben is conscientious, punctual, clean and tidy and we can't recommend him highly enough. We will definitely be using Jordan Carpentry for any further projects.
Not many craftsmen out there, but Ben Jordan is one of them. As a company we won't use anyone else and would rather wait for his services. If you're after quality, professionalism, and above all the job done properly ,then Ben is the man for the job
