Thoroughly pleased with installation of the glass and oak staircase. Was sceptical as to whether it would visually improve the living room and it really has changed for the better. Quote was competitive, the process and the product were smooth and excellent. Both the fitters of the wood balustrade and the glass fitters were superb, diligent and tidy workers - can highly recommend.

The guys who did the work (Ian and Chris) were excellent, being very courteous, friendly and highly skilled. However, the main reason we engaged this company was because the estimator told us that one of their USPs was that all joins in the woodwork are morticed and tenoned whereas their competitors use screws and plugs. This proved to be completely untrue as the joins were all screwed and plugged, many of which are visible. We were also a little disappointed that there are visible joins in the handrails (2 joins in one length of 1.9m) with a colour disparity once oiled. Also, the fillers between the balusters aren't a snug fit being slightly higher than the edge of the rails and with gaps at the edges. This all means that the final result is a little less than perfect and not quite as promised but it does still look good .

Absolutely outstanding workmanship by Hampshire Staircase. Ben and Ben were true craftsmen. Their level of expertise and knowledge is second to none. Would not hesitate is recommending this company. From the initial design, through the organisation and then the final result we are over the moon. Thank you so much
