I have used Aidan at Jurassic Handyman 3 times now, all for a variety of small tasks from installing a kitchen extractor hood and ducting, fixing my cctv inspection camera to re-tiling my kitchen. Aidan has been professional, fairly priced and produced a good finished product every time. His ability to turn his hand to anything is refreshing. Its a nightmare finding someone to undertake those 'small' projects but Aidan is your man. I would happily highly recommend him for any task.

We had leak in the bathroom with water dripping through the ceiling downstairs. We looked on the internet for a plumber and made some calls but as it was short notice we were unable to get hold of a plumber. We then found The Home Doctor Handyman, we gave them a call. Mike said he would come out and arrived shortly after. He did a quick assessment and found the leak, he explained exactly what was wrong and the options for repair. It turned out the hot tap on the bath was the leaking and Mike suggested changing the old bath taps to a modern mixer tap with a shower attachment. We agreed as it was a brilliant solution for us. Mike gave us a rough estimate on cost. He sourced a new tap, fitted, tested and cleaned up after, the whole job was done within a couple of hours. We are very happy with the result and would not hesitate to recommend The Home Doctor Handyman to anyone. Mike is very knowledgeable, he explained everything before starting the job. He gave us a rough estimate which turned out to be fairly accurate. Mike is friendly, polite and dog friendly. We highly recommend The Home Doctor and we will be using him again. We had to wait for Mike and were glad that we did. He came to look at the job, advised us and indicated when he’d be able to do it. The old shower tray had cracked because it wasn’t raised properly. Mike built a very solid supporting platform for the new tray, ensuring it was perfectly level before fitting the enclosure. Mike is a very clean and tidy worker, completing everything to plan. We’re delighted by the result.

The Home Doctor has just completed a job for me, removing a corner bath and installing an oversized shower for my disabled son. He’s completed a brilliant job in the promised timescale and I cannot fault his work, it was a pleasure to have him working in my house and he will be the first person I would contact for any other jobs that I need doing.

Mike came and fitted a new kitchen door for us. His workmanship is impeccable - he worked quietly and methodically, clearing up as he went along (and at the end). The new door is of good quality and is exactly what we wanted. He is prompt, courteous and we would highly recommend his services. It's so good to know that we have someone reliable upon whom we can call as and when the need arises, and who charges a fair price for an excellent job.
