New bit: Though as per their timings on the Google, the cafe was closed.. We had to replan our morning trip and find another cafe for breakfast.. This is not good especially if you are travelling from far and accounts for a star less.. Old review: Nice little cost street cafe with friendly faces.. Food is good and expect a quick breakfast/brunch with some snack bites on menu.. Don't forget to visit a small sellers spot with unique gift options near the pay counter..

A deep and meaningful coffee. Google Maps, thank you for shining your satellite on The Rustic Cafe, when I was checking out nearby cafes. It's been ages since I visited Acocks Green. I have rose tinted memories of the area, especially Acocks Green Bowl that I used to frequent as a teenager. Back in the 90's a game of bowling was £1! good times. I digress. As I walked through the tail end of Storm Eunice, I impressed upon The Rustic Café. The beauty of its exterior was like a warm glow. I entered and the warmth was upped a notch thanks to the welcoming staff. I took a look around to appreciate the interior, a clash of colourful, lacquered, rustic tables hit by ceiling strung, modern jarred lighting. It's a cosy place. I took a look over the shoulder of the staff to see a La Cimbali espresso machine... A lovely piece of espresso technology. I explicitly requested their finest flat white with latte art. The staff responded with "I'll try my best". A response I love to hear. I don't care how much barista training you've had, if you put effort into latte art it indicates to me that you care about coffee. The coffee isn't artisanal, but it was a thing of beauty thanks to the colourful ergonomic mug. I began chatting to the staff member. It wasn't small talk, it was a chat about life that delved into human vulnerability. I learnt a lot as a consequence. And I wonder why I love popping into coffee shops. I will have to return. The staff are soon to have barista training. I can't wait to see what latte art they have mastered.

Cosy environment, warm staff and excellent food. Toasts are well toasted and perfectly matched with avocado. Chai Latte and flat white were amazing, definitely would come again!

Been wanting to try this cute little cafe for ages, finally got to try it on my birthday the food DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Freshly cooked and was amazing! Quality of the sausage/bacon was lovely. The cafe had a lovely welcoming environment cant wait to try again.

I live for independent spots like these - and there aren’t many around bigger cities! Such a cute, cosy vibe; cakes are scrumptious, food is nice & comforting which is what this intimate space embodies! And to top it off it’s run by the loveliest, hardworking people you can ever meet. What’s not to love? Love the bits and bobs for sale too :) defo give it a visit

My experiences at Arty goat have been amazing. Lovely owner, Katie, nothing is too much trouble for her. Had an afternoon tea there recently as presents for friend's and all mentioned how great it was. The cakes are amazing. Several classes are also run from there and these include book clubs, art classes, I've just been on the Christmas wreath making class and was amazed what I'd accomplished! Do try for yourself as I'm sure you'll have a great time. x

Absolutely wonderful, local craft cafe. A credit to our community. Fabulous range of cakes and hot snacks on offer. Brilliant afternoon tea and a range of events and craft sessions available. KT and all other staff members are welcoming, warm & fantastic hosts. 🤍

Well, what can I say other than perfection. My first visit. I was made to feel very welcome. My BLT on seeded bread was lovely. So fresh and so much filling in the sandwich. My Chai Latte was one of the best I've had. Thank you so much. Will definitely be back.

What an amazing find this cafe is.Staff are so polite and nothing to much trouble,the home cooked as you wait menu means and ensures hot freshly served food on heated plates.We are amazed that for the prices they charge you can get good quality food served to your table with a friendly smile and chat Will make this a go to place for breakfast and or lunch.Thank you Ladies /Gents keep up the good work.ps the poached eggs are amazing x

It was super busy this morning. Lovely to see an independent cafe thriving! Staff were nice and accommodating. Coffee was amazing. We ordered the Full English, everything was really nice except the hash browns. One was really tough & chewy and the other was really nice. Quite odd but hey these things happen. Love that it’s Dog /Child friendly. All cutlery is available at the front with clean cups for water. All self explanatory. Very clean.

We have visited this Cafe many times now and we absolutely love it- if you are in Knowle, you must visit this place. The staff here are so welcoming and attentive, and very engaging with our young children which is lovely to see, and its great to see genuine beaming smiles. The food is of excellent quality, comes out hot and full of flavour. The decor is modern, contemporary, comfortable and clean. Overall its a pleasurable experience everytime we dine here and we are already looking forward to our next visit after visiting only this morning. Thank you Paul and team. See you again very soon.

Forever my favourite local cafe and kitchen. Paul, Hayley, Loren and the team make this place feel like home, and whether you live in the area or coming from away, you'll always be made to feel like that. As well as having the most photogenic and tasty food and drinks, for someone who always takes photos of that. Dr. Smith and the super team working along side of him are outstanding. I have had dental issues since childhood and since moving to Dr. Smiths practice many years ago I have been seen with genuine care and feel I'm being treated fantastically and an fully informed of what's going on and feel a part of the the discussions for the best interests of my teeth. Thank you do Dr.Smith, Morti, Kiran and the lovely practice manager P. This is the best Healthcare practice I've been too and I'd highly recommend this genuine practice. I could not ask for kinder and more affectionate and understanding people to be a part of my health care. They go above and beyond. During COVID when I've gone for an emergency appointment they have a great standard of cleanliness and hygiene that I feel super safe and comfortable. Thank you all. I appreciate you all.

I disagree with the negative comment below! The receptionists team are lovely and accomodating each time I have spoken to them! Even though I was unable to get an appointment on the day,- I was promised a call back from the nurse, who gave me advice and reassured me that I can call back if the dental issue persists! during lock down this was one of the few dental practice that was open full time throughout pandemic managing patients in emergencies whereas other practices that my friends and family attend weren't so accomodating- if at all! Well done dental practice for all that you do! There are plenty of us who appreciate you, ignore the negative people on this platform!

This is an excellent practice. Have been attending for many years. Both dentist's are very professional and are very helpful explaining treatment at every stage. They put you at easy.The support staff are friendly and helpful. The team has worked hard throught the Covid pandemic, full credit goes to them in these difficult times.

Doctor Gordon Smith runs an excellence dental surgery on the Stratford Road in Shirley Solihull. A popular professional practice that is well thought of and comes highly recommended because of its wonderful dental work and Customer Services. The staff are very friendly, polite and always put the customers interest first. It’s the “Teamwork” that makes the practice environment feel welcoming and personal. During the Covid period, the team worked hard continuing to support all who came into the practice. For over 10 years I have been very fortunate to be a patient, having NHS dental treatment from professional dentists Gordon and Donna. This year I decided to have some private work done to my front upper teeth and asked Gordon if he would do the work. Over several appointments Gordon planned and implemented each procedure and now upon completion has given me a completely aligned natural look together with an aesthetically pleasing smile back. The finished work looks fantastic. Throughout the procedures Gordon explained in detail each of the steps to help me feel more comfortable. He made sure I was fully involved; it became a joint process. Nothing was rushed and if Gordon wasn’t happy with anything he would re-do it or start again. The dental work provided to me over the years has been better than outstanding. Recommending this practice is simple, “I would definitely recommend” this practice to my family, friends and those looking for professional dentistry work with the personal touch and the bonus of getting to know friendly staff. It's been a while since I've been to a BTP and I'd forgotten how good they are. We had brunch and it was delicious. The order at your table via a QR code is super convenient. The service was fast and the staff provided service with a smile, thanking us as we left. I definitely won't be leaving it so long before I'm back for a stack of those delicious hash browns!

Staff here are charming. Nyah (manager) has hospitality down to a tee. Kate is patient and charming. She's also very knowledgeable. The chef takes the time to carefully prepare and present gluten-free dishes. Thank you, guys.

The staff are friendly. The cafe is reasonably priced and they serve delicious foods and drinks. I haven't been in a while but I used to come with my late father with Alzheimer's Dementia. He sadly passed away during the lockdown, following hospital negligence. I would recommend this cafe and hope to try it out once more. Sorry, I'm not sure of the name, not being here for a while, but there's a particular member of staff here, a lady, that deserves credit as she went out of her way for me and my dad, and got me information to get him some support before his sad passing. That is much appreciated 💖

A small cafe at the corner of the shopping arcade just next to the local library, It is a family friendly cafe with a tiny play area for the children. There are just few kinds of food to serve, mainly breads and sandwiches, but they are generally in good standard. The price of hot drinks are about £2, not expensive. And they are obviously better than the 'instant powders' served in the supermarkets and Coxxta. Nice place for a budget stay.
