We decided to try the Five Bells a couple of weeks back after hearing great things. On arrival we had a warm welcome and a little banter regarding running out of my wife’s favourite tipple. I wanted a steak but as I was out the week before at a Marco Pierre White steak house and had a ribeye steak there I was slightly reluctant as I would obviously compare and wow I am so glad I did it was actually better it was cooked to perfection the peppercorn sauce was perfect and the chunky well seasoned chips was amazing ! In fact the whole meal was a true taste sensation. We have since been back to try the tapas which again was delicious, and after being introduced on the first night to a baby Guinness while talking to the new owners Bill & Lucy this is also a new firm favourite of ours. It was such a lovely night and to be made to feel so welcome is something you don’t normally get when you go out to a restaurant, this is now a new firm favourite pub to visit !

We had a lovely meal here with our 2 dogs and 6 month old son. The vegetarian burger was the best one I've ever had. My husband has the turkey and said the pigs in blankets were the best he's had! We would return in a heartbeat. The staff are so friendly and are so accommodating. Would recommend to anyone who loves a family friendly pub.

Just had a business lunch today at the Five Bells and what a fantastic find. The meal was superb and of very high quality. The staff gave a lovely warm welcome and great to chat with them. The pub decor and furnishings gives the whole place a nice atmosphere and great dining experience. Real ale was great. We will be returning soon. Best Regards, Derek

First time I’ve been in many years. Recently under new management and benefiting from a full refurbishment, my return visit did not disappoint. The welcome was friendly and the staff were very nice, polite and accommodating. The menu had really good choices and options from either the main menu or the tapas and pizza menu. The presentation, quality and flavour of the food was very good indeed. No issues at all. I will be retuning very soon!!

Had an absolutely brilliant dining experience! The food was spot on—full of flavour and beautifully presented. The service was excellent too, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
