Craig has done a couple of jobs for us now, firstly replacing bathroom lights and latterly replacing a fuse box with a consumer unit, and more lights, he is professional, courteous and following a fire in an outbuilding Craig changed his diary and was with us within an hour to isolate the supply. Would really recommend him..

Came back to eat here for the second time, this time with the family. We weren’t disappointed, food was spot on again. This place is a hidden gem. We had a mixture of chicken and meat burgers, loaded fries with donner that seemed to have their own signature sauce which was also great. Ridwan was brilliant with us offered his recommendations and looked after us thanks 🤩 bro.

Best place I’ve ever order from for food the quality of food is outstanding and fills u up perfectly people that work are so nice I made a mistake by sending wrong address and I called em and they fixed it ordered it for my nana who is picky and point any faults and didn’t even say anything about and kept saying I’ll be ordering again it’s lovely the food looks just like the pictures recommend any one to eat from here u will. Be blow away by the taste and how quick comes coming fresh and the perfect temperature even thrown in extra sauce that’s tasted phenomenal

I was passing through Scunthorpe, Doncaster Road and looked online for a meal and found this outstanding burger place. The food and service was fantastic, the owner Neil was very friendly and generous, i ordered the Brunch Turkey Big Mac, the burger quality and the Donner Kebab which i got with loaded fries was top quality! Would highly recommend and definitely return!! Thank you for the fantastic meal and service.

New to the area and gave this place a try, very glad I did! The Farmer's Wife burger was great and the loaded fries were amazing as well. Thanks to Neil for his hospitality. Highly recommended if you're in Scunthorpe and looking for a burger!

Good food ( not the biggest of potions ) There were only one other couple in the restraunt. Which was On a Saturday evening Yet the only member of restaurant staff ( a very nervous young girl ) was more interested in setting tables than taking our order .when she eventually did serve us we waited a further 30 minutes for our steak meals .half way through our meal we were asked if we.d like steak knives Pity it could have been a positive experience with just a little more staff training .

A relaxed pub with good simple food. I like how relaxed this pub is. Nice friendly staff. The owner Steve is always happy do have a discussion and recommend a beer for you to try. I’ve uploaded photos of the menu and updated the times. There is also a lot that the heritage group do based from this pub, so please ask about that. Make sure you ask about the tank ramp and the goings on during word war two. They also do a great beer festival and celebrate burns night with the best haggis I’ve ever tasted. All in all the best village pub !

Great atmosphere, lovely service and in all my travels the first chef who asked if I minded a 14 oz steak instead of an 8 oz as he was trying a new supplier! Fantastic food. If you haven't been, you must!!

Myself + 2 more had the Sunday carvery. I was impressed because all the veg was fresh not frozen .Good choice of meat & veg. The restaurant is directly on the bank of the river trent with good scenic views. Friendly staff. I would definitely go again. Thank you to all the welcoming staff.

Wow. 2 couples. Lovely time. One eater a die hard plain eater tried the Handi and found it excellent. This restaurant wants the customer to enjoy their dining experience and tailor the food to you not serve up same old same old, good portions. Attentive staff, informative Naj was brilliant as well as funny. So relaxed, had a great time. Will definitely be back.

We visited the restaurant as a couple for a birthday meal. From the moment we walked in the staff were attentive and friendly. They were knowledgeable about the menu with recommendations of what to order. We had popodoms to start with a mixture of different ones with dips and they were by far the best ones I've ever tasted, the black pepper ones were unreal. We had the mixed starter also which had the most incredible onion bhajis and lamb koftas. The curry, garlic naan and mushroom rice for the main was beautiful we had to take the rest home with us. The atmosphere is lovely the owner is so friendly and overall the staff were just brilliant. By far the best Indian we have both ever had and we had such a lovely night. We will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends. The prices are so reasonable for the service and food that you get Thankyou ☺️

We had an outstanding dining experience at this restaurant. The owner was incredibly accommodating with our order, customizing the level of spiciness and other flavors to our preferences. He was happy to chat about the various options, ensuring we made the best choices for our meal. The waiter was attentive and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The owner used to run another Indian restaurant we loved, and he remains as lovely and welcoming as always. The food was nothing short of excellent. The appetizers were fresh and flavorful, the main courses were hearty and satisfying, and the desserts were the perfect end to a fantastic meal. Amazing! The food tastes alot different to your typical Indian restaurant, a great choice of drinks, we had a bottle of Sauvigon Blanc which I would highly recommend. Be sure to try the different types of poppadoms and we had the Mahal starter and was excellent, faultless service couldn't of asked for any more! Will definitely be back.

We have been to the Imperial Mahal curry restaurant in Scunthorpe. This was our first visit to this restaurant which opened in July this year, and we were very impressed! The food was excellent, well spiced (although this can be adjusted to suit individual tastes), and generous portions. The restaurant has a mixture of booths and large tables and they can cater for big groups as required. We had poppadoms and pickles to begin, followed by fish pakora, chicken pakora, and sheek kebab starters. Main courses were chicken korah, makham badhami (almond and butter chicken), chicken pathia and lamb pathia. We had vegetable rice and freshly cooked nann to accompany the mains. Bryan and Jan had an Irish coffee to finish, Adrian had kukfi, and I had Akhbari pistachio ice cream. We were very impressed with the standard of the food, the ambience of the restaurant and the courtesy of the staff - we will certainly visit here again! Thank you Najem, and the rest of the staff - we had a lovely evening!

Amazing food, setting and service AND, you don’t have to be a member to eat there. Food and prices were so good. Anything from £5 to £15 for a main course. Take an appetite with you as generous portions. My daughter had to take half hers home as there was so much. Can’t wait to go again and try something else

Had lunch at the Soldier’s Rest today.Wife and I had the Teriyaki Glazed Salmon Steak, crushed new herbed potatoes, asparagus and hollandaise sauce. It was beautifully presented and delicious.They have quite an extensive lunchtime menu and I can highly recommend a visit.
