Clean, actually very clean shop serving good espresso. My espresso was carefully prepared and once done carefully examined if it looks perfect :). This coffee shop was recently opened and hopefully will be successful.

Cute neighborhood coffee shop! We ordered flat whites, banana cake, and a babyccino, all were delicious. The flat whites were well made and the banana perfectly moist. The cafe was bright with lots of sunlight. The staff were friendly and quick with their service. The café is very kid-friendly, we brought our 2yr old niece. Would highly recommend Jaunty Coffee!

Friendly, tiny coffee place that's fantastic for coeliac. Only 2 or 3 seats, but nice for a quick coffee and lovely lemon polenta.
Rating: 5 / 5
Alice is a pillar of the Wood Street community! She looks after all of us, and itâs a bonus that she happens to make the best coffee in London. Thereâs always a treat available for the dog, and I darenât visit my mum without one or two delicious gluten-free treats from Rebel Coffee.
Rating: 5 / 5
Fantastic little cafe. Alice the owner is welcoming and has created a kind inclusive space for all. I loved the books available to read and the iced coffee and cake were both delicious. I will be back very soon.

Charming little coffee shop specialising in Gluten free. Lovely drinks. Not many seats, space is limited, so be prepared!

Ruttle & Rowe
19 Victoria Rd, London E17 4JT, UK | Coffee Shop P: 07950 303084
Rating: 4.9 (133) Price Level:
I recently discovered this charming establishment and had the pleasure of enjoying a delightful mocha and pastry. The coffee was truly exceptional, and the pastry was fresh and flaky. I anticipate this establishment becoming a regular destination for me once the schools reopen in September.
Rating: 5 / 5
What truly makes Ruttle&Rowe a five-star establishment, though, is the warmth and friendliness of the staff. They greet every visitor with genuine smiles and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfect. Their passion for coffee and people shines through, making every visit memorable. In conclusion, Ruttle&Rowe is more than just a coffee shop; it's a sanctuary for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Whether you're a local or just passing through, making a stop at this beautiful establishment is a must. It's a place where every visit feels like coming home. Five stars across the board!

What a lovely little cafe, and in a quiet location off the main road. The flat white was tasty and they also had an apple juice pressed in Essex that was delicious. A few seats inside and out - would be a lovely place to go to when itâs sunny (and warm). Will be going back regularly!
Rating: 5 / 5
Delightful, welcoming spot. Easily the best coffee in the area, and a lovely warm atmosphere too. Matt and Ryan are very friendly, the drinks are flawless, and the toasties are to die for! Strongly recommend showing up early on a weekend to nab a seat outside in the sun before theyâve all gone!

Lovely cozy coffee place in our neighborhood. We love coming here for breakfast on weekends (but also for cheeky coffee breaks on weekdays when WFH), coffee is fantastic and pastries are fresh and super yummy (the jam donuts are our absolute faves!) very friendly atmosphere - highly recommended!! :)

My first visit to Querky Cafe and OMGGGG by far one of THE best breakfast places to go đŻ Amazing Quality and delicious food the picture was taken just after Iâd shared some out but came beautifully with 2 of everything, I had an Americano and it was one of the best coffees Iâve had in a long while smooth bold and rich tasting paired with a lovely ambiance and atmosphere and great 10/10 service. Great gem of a place. Lovely staff who are warm and friendly . Great menu that suits a wide range of people. Had loaded fries, burritos and quesadillas which were yummy and flavoursome. Meat was tender and not dry . Coffee was amazing and the prices are affordable. Will defo be returning!

Quality halal cafe. They have a small but high quality menu and you can tell they put attention to detail. For such a nice location/cafe it has reasonable prices. The staff are always brilliant and take my order with a smile. I recommend the full English wrap
Rating: 5 / 5
Great funky place on the corner with nice comfy seats and all decorated for Halloween. Parties, cakes, and coffee were absolutely delicious, and I would totally recommend them. Loved my experience here and I will come again for sure.
Rating: 5 / 5
I had a delightful experience at Querky Cafe! I opted for the butter chicken kathi roll, masala chai, and cheesy chips, and all three were absolutely delicious. The masala chai, in particular, is a popular choice, and I can see whyâit's perfectly spiced and comforting. The cafe is spotless, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind, making the experience even more enjoyable. I have no doubt that this will become a popular spot in no time. Highly recommended!

Rating: 4.9 (37) Price Level:
I recently moved to the area and visited a few coffee spots, and I can confirm this place has the best coffee! Not only that but they do the most delicious almond and pistachio croissant. The staff are super welcoming and friendly. Great location to grab a coffee before jumping on the overground, and they are dog friendly!
Rating: 5 / 5
As an American who just recently moved to Walthamstow and was in search of a traditional cup of black coffee, this place satisfies that need. I will not have to keep drinking Americanos because I will get my morning cup of coffee from here. Excellent coffee!
Rating: 5 / 5
Comfortably the best coffee in the area. This is a small cafe by St James Street station - it looks really nice inside. They do pastries and cold drinks too (e.g. kombucha). Service is quick too.
Rating: 5 / 5
I was in the area on an off chance and waiting for the train so grabbed a coffee. I can honestly say, it was a delicious coffee. Not too strong, not too bitter. Tasted great.
Rating: 5 / 5
Excellent coffee, definitely the best in the area. Staff are always really lovely as well, and the loyalty card is a nice perk đ Definitely worth a visit if you are a coffee lover!

Deja Brew Cafe - Blackhorse Road
8 Forest Rd, London E17 6JJ, UK | Coffee Shop P: 020 8616 0096
Rating: 4.9 (169) Price Level:
Best coffee shop in London. It's our local and we have been going there for a few years now. Staff our super friendly and chatty, food is delicious and very much affordable. Always recommend to friends
Rating: 5 / 5
This is by far the best cafĂ© I have ever been to! The menu has a wide range of affordable and delicious items - especially the homemade cakes! All of the staff, especially the owner are kind and accommodating. Myself and my boyfriend spend a lot of time here, revising/studying and are always made to feel welcome here. The decor is beautiful and there are occasionally fun events held here in the evening. If you are in Blackhorse Road or a student situated locally, I would definitely recommend visiting as it is my most favourite place to go to! Thank you to all the staff at Deja Brew for always delivering such a wonderful experience for the customers âĄ
Rating: 4 / 5
I came here with high expectations of the food, I ordered the full English. The sausage was too fatty and the bacon was a bit dry. It was just very standard, nothing surprisingly good about it. I guess English breakfast is not their specialty, hence why. Great atmosphere services tho.
Rating: 5 / 5
Local gem I hadnât been to this part of London for several months, so I was keen to return to Deja Brew the first opportunity I had. I was delighted to see that it was as good as ever. Friendly and efficient staff. Good selection of cakes and pastries as well as savoury food, and of course great coffee.
Rating: 5 / 5
I only came for a coffee, but that carrot cake was a little too tempting. Nice food, drink, great service. I guess they call it Deja Brew cause everyone wants to come back.

SlowBurn London
114b Blackhorse Ln, London E17 6AA, UK | Restaurant P: 07541 365064
Rating: 4.7 (349) Price Level:
Tucked away behind an unassuming entrance, this restaurant is a hidden gem that delights with its quirky ambiance and exceptional cuisine. The small plates are among the best Iâve enjoyed in the past year, each dish bursting with creativity and flavor. The highlight, however, is the smoked chicken; undoubtedly the finest Iâve ever tasted. A must-visit for those seeking a memorable dining experience!
Rating: 5 / 5
Delicious small dishes to share, with outstanding sauces, very friendly service and good atmosphere. Suitable for vegans too. Must mention the coffee creme brûlée!
Rating: 5 / 5
Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch at SlowBurn. The place has become really trendy in east London, but despite the sharing, small plates concept itâs not a rip off and tastes delicious (differently to many many other east London restaurants who simply take the mickey out of you these days). We had cauliflowers fritters, ravioli and the squid. Would highly recommend. The chocolate mousse with mango was incredible, too.

Rating: 5 / 5
Authentic, tasty, friendly tapas restaurant. The food is like being in Spain with an all Spanish alcohol/wine menu. The croquettes, aubergine in honey blossom and anchovies are amazing. We go every few months and is the best tapas Iâve had in the UK. Atmosphere is always chilled and full of respectful, friendly diners.
Rating: 5 / 5
What a delightful find in Walthamstow high street. Best Tapas I've eaten in England in a long time. Great choice of wine and liquid desserts. Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner.
Rating: 5 / 5
One of the very best Tapas in London, in fact, one of the best anywhere! Has brilliant veggie options and the salads are exceptional- specials are always great, the service is freindly and generous. The chef is outstanding, often using authentic/unusual cuts of meat to good effect. The drinks list is extremely good
Rating: 5 / 5
We found this place very randomly and the decorationa and atmosphere just called us in!! The food was authentic and delicious, not too crowded and it felt like a real spanish night . I recommend the paella but also the cheescake!

Xhauri
176 Hoe St, London E17 4QH, UK | Restaurant P: 020 8509 1941
Rating: 4.7 (93) Price Level:
The restaurant was spacious with air conditioning. However, they seem to have a smoking area at the back that makes the whole restaurant smell of cigarettes. Hence the one star off. The food itself was a really good portion and tasted fantastic. The grilled lamb chop is one of the best. the side dishes were great too. The menu does not have much option for dining for one. As the portion is big, I was the only woman there. It was a bit awkward! But it is worth the visit for the food if you can put off the cigarette smell. The service was a bit odd, but I did not mind.
Rating: 5 / 5
Excellent Albanian restaurant with dishes familiar to an Eastern European palate as well as more pan-Mediterranean ones. The atmosphere is convivial and seems to be a real community hub, with what looks to be an Albanian music channel playing and lots of groups of Albanians meeting. Visited Oct 2024 and had several starters/small plates : the Fasule me mish (a tomatoey bean and salt beef soup) which came with fresh bread, a qofta and a strained yoghurt and pepper salad. It was all excellent and very filling. Service was friendly and people seemed happy that a non-Albanian was trying their cuisine/trying their best to pronounce their dishes! Hoping to return to try the mains, which I imagine are even more substantial.
Rating: 5 / 5
The restaurant exceeded all expectations! Every dish was fresh and flavorful, and the inviting ambiance was the perfect complement.

Food is great! I had couple times Goulash soup . Always comes with homemade fresh baked bread Cheers!

Since opening in Walthamstow last year I have been here a few times. First thing is that the Mains dishes from the menu are excellent, if you miss home food then choose from the Mains here. All the food is so good, fresh (hummus, salad), and delicious (beef lamb chicken and sauces), On weekday evenings the 3 TVs show football (audio will be Albanian - many of the happy customers are Albanian or Italian). If football is not on ask and they will change the channel. Reasonably priced bar for wine and beer. There is a closed pool room normally packed with players but as a visitor you don't notice it except for hearing the occasional crack of the pack breaking.

Buhler and Co (Brunch/Lunch/Coffee shop)
8 Chingford Rd, London E17 4PJ, UK | Brunch Restaurant P: 020 8527 3652
Rating: 4.6 (589) Price Level:
BĂŒhler and Co serves meat-free brunch dishes which hit your brunch cravings easily. It is a local favourite and we can definitely see why. They offer quality produced cooked well and feels light and bright. It didnât blow us away but neither did it leave us disappointed so would likely go again when thereâs often not an appeal to travel intro Central London from where we live. We've already been a couple of times with our most recent visit a week or so ago. Pictured are three of their breakfast bagels, two of their seasonal french toasts and an oak milk latte.
Rating: 5 / 5
1st time at this nice vegetarian restaurant, everything on the menu sounds like itâs going to be delicious. I ordered the poached eggs on sourdough with avocado and wasnât disappointed, perfectly poached Clarence Court eggs, crunchy toasted bread and perfectly ripe avocado, and presentation was 1st class. The coffee was full flavoured although Iâd have liked a bigger mug . The staff are very personable and attentive so 5 stars to the workers . Canât wait to go back and explore the menu .
Rating: 4 / 5
Ordered the veggie fry up one with poached eggs and one with fried Was a little disappointed as my paratha was burnt and crisp. I felt the whole meal was lacking in something saucy / moist. The meal is quite carby so would have been good to have some beans or something with it. They do give you two small pots of sauce but for the amount of carb would be good to have more. The potato hash was good, really crisp and has good spice through it, although it tasted a bit like it had cheese in it, which isn't specified and I don't eat cheese Overall was a good experience but not sure I'd come again as there's no nearby parking either
Rating: 5 / 5
I had bagel with butter mushroom and fried egg with cheeese, I swear, one of the best breakfasts Iâve ever had. This pumped me up for the rest of the day. The egg was so fluffy with melted cheese and it was so easy to have it, it wasnât messy. Tried the fried halloumi, was a tad bit salty. Hot chocolate was so thick, and loved the consistency. Would love to try more dishes. But this one would be my favourite. The staff was extremely friendly and they do have nice seating area indoors and outdoors. Cheers guys!
