Aavo chai & coffee

I highly recommend Aavo. I'm a local personal trainer and they recently helped me host a Christmas social for my clients where they let us have the space out the back in the evening. They worked to my budget and the catering and service provided blew my expectations away. We had such a fun evening and the food was delicious. Thank you Sapna and Bhavin!

Just popped in here for breakfast with my daughter and it was so good. The portion was very generous. I’m still full at 6pm today 😂 I had a masala chai- very creamy and aromatic. Then Bombay eggs with plenty of chilli, masala beans and a huge paratha. The food was beautifully spiced and delicious. My daughter had a cheese toastie and hot chocolate. It totalled £15. Great value. This is a place much more deserving of your custom than than the generic hipster caffs further down Wood street slinging £4 croissants and £4 coffees. Use it or lose it folks. Evening menu looks great as well 😎

I attend a private Christmas party event at Aavo which was catered and drinks provided. The space available was perfect for a smaller scale event - there was a Bluetooth speaker available, cutlery/crockery provided and the full catering proceeded. The food was delicious and has definitely persuaded me to come back in the future. I’d highly recommend checking out the cafe and would recommend adding it the list if you’re looking for venues.

Where do I start? Sapna and her family hosted us for my sister’s baby shower at Aavo Cafe , and I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the venue, food and hosts were! The venue is perfect for parties- very clean and spacious. It has a great covered outdoor space and an enclosed garden area. There were 20 of us and that included 5 children and there was still lots of space. Sapna was very accommodating and put on a lovely finger food spread , which consisted of kebabs , chaat, samosas and paneer. Food was incredible and went down a treat! If you’re looking for some flavoursome Indian street food and a good venue - this is the place! We will definitely be back again when I plan my son’s party! Thank you Sapna and family for being such amazing hosts x

I had a delightful experience at Querky Cafe! I opted for the butter chicken kathi roll, masala chai, and cheesy chips, and all three were absolutely delicious. The masala chai, in particular, is a popular choice, and I can see why—it's perfectly spiced and comforting. The cafe is spotless, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind, making the experience even more enjoyable. I have no doubt that this will become a popular spot in no time. Highly recommended!

What a lovely little cafe, and in a quiet location off the main road. The flat white was tasty and they also had an apple juice pressed in Essex that was delicious. A few seats inside and out - would be a lovely place to go to when it’s sunny (and warm). Will be going back regularly!

Eren was a very polite professional who came to the house and sorted out a shower switch, he made me aware of what had happened and what he will be doing to rectify the issue, also great communication to when he would be popping around and kept me informed throughout, would very highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get any electrical work done, you don’t need to look any further. His attention to detail and willingness to help were really impressive. Everything was done to a high standard, and he left the place clean and tidy. Highly recommend Eren and Blackhorse Electrical for any electrical work—I’ll definitely be calling them again in the future!

During the long walk, both my dog and I were overcome with thirst - I was in dire need of coffee and my companion of water. And then suddenly our desires were fulfilled, when we stumbled upon Lily’s cafe. There was a bowl of water for the dog and I was enjoying a delicious cappuccino. On our next walk, we had this cafe as our main destination. Because of the cool location on the corner, we sat and enjoyed a delicious coffee latte and brownie and did some people watching :) A very cute and dog-friendly spot with kind owner and nice vibe!!!

Rating: 4.9 (169) Price Level:

I came here with high expectations of the food, I ordered the full English. The sausage was too fatty and the bacon was a bit dry. It was just very standard, nothing surprisingly good about it. I guess English breakfast is not their specialty, hence why. Great atmosphere services tho.

KG Electrical Contractors Ltd

30 Sybourn St, London E17 8HA, UK | Electrician
P: 07588 394300

Rating: 5 (12) Price Level:

I recently had the pleasure of working with Kevin and his team for a series of electrical upgrades needed in my home. Their service was absolutely exceptional. Jobs undertaken: - Installation of an electric vehicle (EV) charger. - Complete replacement of the box/consumer unit to cope with future capacity. - Networking the house and routing ethernet cables. - Fixing and replacing various switches and sockets. Throughout the process, they were friendly, helpful and hugely professional and skilled. The whole experience was a pleasure. Kevin's attention to detail was evident in every task - particularly noticeable in the precision of the consumer unit replacement! Their focus on quality was really reassuring and they were helpful and proactive, especially when it came to resolving unexpected challenges. All work was completed efficiently and beyond my expectations. I have dealt with many tradespeople over the years, but I think Kevin and his team are the best I have encountered. I fully recommend their services to anyone in need of the best electrical work. Thank you, Kevin and team! See you next time.

Kevin and his team are everything you need in an electrician! They are professional, polite and efficient with any task you throw at them. I needed their help to fully rewire my property and they went above and beyond in their delivery. My house still had the electrical infrastructure from its construction (between 1950s-1970s). The lighting and sockets connected to a single circuit breaker switch and there was no earthing in the sockets. I needed some professionals to fully rewire my house and add a few more electrical sockets in the bedrooms and hallways. I gave Kevin a call, we arranged a quotation visit within the same week and began rewiring the house the following week. What followed was roughly 7 days of gruelling work chasing wires and 2 day of patching up and cleaning. It was a treat to listen to them banter about on their lunch breaks and they radiate confidence and positivity whenever I spoke with them. Kevin and his team love what they do and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to do it for you to!

Kevin was polite, punctual and professional. He fitted my kitchen ceiling light and kindly came back to replace my kitchen extractor fan (the replacement I initially bought was too small on his first visit, so bought a larger one and he came back to install). The quote he offered was far more reasonable then other traders. I would highly recommend Kevin for any of our electrical needs.
