Favourite cafe! Eaten here regularly. Breakfasts are delicious. Normally order the All American and a set 5 with Cumberland sausages, always hits the spot. Staff are lovely and friendly. Just all round great place 👍🏻

we came across this eatery by chance on way to a clearance job .. we were the only customers but it was very early .. the food came out very quick and was very nice .. hot and could tell it was freshly cooked nowadays the price is what it is ..the only negative I have is the tea was very weak I did try to make it stronger but should have said something. we would defo use again if in the area

We recently had a visit to this lovely place. Good points. 1. The food was very good with good portion. 2. There were plenty of spaces for chairs and tables, however it was slightly small. 3. The order was taken at the counter and quickly delivered. 4. The price for the food was very affordable. Constructive points. 1. Slightly congested spaces. 2. A bit not suitable for small childrens with buggies or disabled people. Would visit again though and best wishes.

Not our first visit to the 'Bubble & Sausage' certainly not our last, food & service is exceptional. Hardest thing to do is decide what to choose from the menu. I had the Pie'n'Mash, being a 'Camberwell Boy' I was a regular at Arments growing up, the Pie & Mash did not disappoint! My Wife & Daughter had the Lamb Shish with Prawns (one with Rice the other with Chips) Served by the luvverly Lema. *We'll Be Back*

Went here with my Nan while they were putting up lovely Christmas decorations, the hot chocolates are lovely and warm you up quick while my panini was tasty. Staff are super friendly in here, will be coming back 😊

Been wanting to try this place since I moved to the area, and it didn’t disappoint. The decor is beautiful with Thai culture themed, giving a comfort and authentic look to it. The staff were friendly and attentive, with great service throughout. The foods are authentic with plenty of options. We loved everything we tried, especially papaya salad is on point, the main dishes are on a bit sweet side but still tasted authentic. the desserts, which were absolutely divine! loved the drinks too. Definitely going back to try more dishes.

It's one of the best Thai restaurants I've visited in a long time. When I arrived, the place was empty, and for a moment, I thought it might be a bad sign. However, I was wrong. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the decor was ok. I also noticed a lot of riders coming for takeaway orders, indicating they work with delivery partners. The only downside was the price of soft drinks—around £5 for a small glass, which, in my opinion, is very steep. Nevertheless, I will definitely be back.

I reserved the booth section here for my 21st birthday and it was an amazing night! Myself and guests had a great and memorable night! Many guests commented on the friendly staff and also how nice the venue was. The DJ was also great in playing songs to get everyone dancing and I was also able to send some songs in advance. Thank you for making my 21st a memorable one!

Decided to try this bar for breakfast as it is close to the gym. Great decor and the food was brilliant with good portions too. The bacon and sausage especially good quality. The atmosphere was very calm on a Saturday morning. Staff very warm and welcoming. Will definitely be returning!

We held our engagement party at Marks Sky Bar and we had the best night! Honestly couldn’t recommend the venue enough. The food was amazing and there was so much 😍 all the staff were so great to us, the drinks were flowing all night and the DJ had everyone up dancing until close! We only had a few balloons to decorate the space we hired as the restaurant/bar is already so lovely decorated and gives off the best vibe! I would definitely recommend booking them for a function!

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is always relaxed and welcomes a cross section of the local community all ages (over18) the food is excellent and if we are there we invariably have something to eat. We had our wedding gathering here and the owners and bar staff couldn’t do enough for us. I highly recommend for a lovely chilled night out. The dj sets are varied too so suits us from a slightly older demographic 😉😉

I had my baby shower at Taste yesterday, it was the most perfect morning! The food was incredible and the coffee is the best coffee (which we have always known!) Kate and her team are the loveliest ladies and made sure we had everything we needed and looked after us all so well. If you are tired of busy coffee shops, looking for nice atmosphere, kind staff and high quality coffee ☕ there you go. It's our first time with Taste Coffee shop but can't wait to visit again. I found a really nice cafe in Eltham. The full breakfast was amazing! I especially enjoyed the sausage! much better than most places. I would definitely recommend a visit, well worth the money. Nice size cafe, good layout. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff members. Good price!! Full breakfast, toast and filtered coffee under a tenner my new go to when working in Eltham.

Top cafe, alway helpful, Kerry has a real report with customers giving the cafe a very homely feel, and friendly atmosphere, Kerry, Yas and the team make a big difference and an enjoyable visit. Helps that the food is great also, especially the Small Breakfast with extra egg & bacon.😜

Stumbled across this place when I was craving coffee and a late breakfast, and I was so happy I did! Staff were super-welcoming, and I had a coffee and a breakfast panini in front of me within a couple of minutes of arriving. The panini was excellent: perfectly crispy bacon with eggs and spring onions on a lovely piece of seeded bread. They clearly take coffee seriously, which is a big plus for me. I had my standard black americano, but I noticed they offered more niche options like cortado. Kids are well catered-for, and the whole place was spotless, including the bathrooms. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you check this place out.

Lovely cafe/community hub/space which does a bit of everything. Ordered a cappuccino, latte and babychino which were all quite good (a bit cold if I had to be critical) and a tea cake. The menu seemed well priced and the plates that others were eating looked good. Perhaps the biggest draw card was film that was playing for the kids and the play space which had plenty of toys for young ones. All of this makes it a perfect place for having a coffee and some peace and quiet (well as much as you can)

A proper old-school cafe with an eclectic menu. Alcoholic Slush Puppy with your fry-up anyone? Anyway, it does the basics well and promptly. Only real complaint was they omitted the sausages on our builders breakfasts (we noticed too late to complain) and paying was something of a challenge amid the chaos at the till.

Popped in to the "Tasty Cafe" Eltham for a quick bite , when shopping in Eltham, Was served by Shannon (she was happy and helpful). To start we had Marmite on Toast, then We had Mushroom omelette with salad and chips , and a Bacon sandwich. Service was good , and fast . Food was hot and freshly cooked. Good price. We both enjoyed our brunch. Would recommend a visit if you are in Eltham.

Went for lunch and sat outside. The kids loved the milkshakes, they were very moreish. The kids' meals had the right amount for them to eat and the adults' meals were great, especially my salad, made just how I would do it. Perfect.

cannot praise this café enough! Despite arriving just after closing time, the staff went out of their way to serve me. The food was absolutely amazing still very fresh and flavourful, . It’s rare to find such a combination of exceptional service and delicious cuisine. This place truly goes above and beyond for its customers, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Having recently moved to the area, we were in search of a decent, traditional and friendly Italian - and we've found it! 😍 Both waitress and 'Chef' were very friendly and engaged with us super quickly, finding us (the last) table on a busy Monday night and taking our order promptly. We ordered a fair bit for two of us, so Chef even came to check we were OK, instead of just serving, which I really rate. Food was absolutely delicious, well presented and the portion sizes were great, especially for the fair pricing. We were absolutely stuffed by the end of it, but we had a much needed, authentic Italian meal. We shall definitely return to try more of the menu. Thanks again, Azzurro 🫶🏻

Update.....back open and serving great delicious foods again 😁. Delightful, flavorful and plentiful dishes! All at reasonable prices. My family have dined at the restaurant many times and in the current climate I order a collection to try to support this local restaurant. All dishes were perfectly cooked, packed and piping hot. Would definitely recommend all the dishes we had but the one that i really enjoyed was the Meatball appetizer, really good tangy tomato sauce to compliment 3 perfect meatballs. Calzone mains were massive and i struggled to finish mine, outstanding for only £10.50!! I can't really comment on the staff as only the chef/owner was there but he's polite, professional and attentive. Hopefully this restaurant will be back open fully on the 4th of July so please come out and show your support! Parking is limited and can be tricky.

Had a wonderful meal with my family on a cold January Sunday. Was superb. The food was delicious and came out promptly, service was excellent, very friendly and attentive.The restaurant has a quirky family run charm. This is exactly the type of establishment that we should be supporting! The tiramisu was definitely noteworthy. Highly recommend.

Excellent Sunday afternoon spent here at Pope St. Not been here for a couple of years but its one of the only decent places in New Eltham to grab a drink. Nice establishment with plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. Good selection of wine, beers and lager. Food was available and looked good but we'd already been out for lunch. Staff were excellent here, pleasant, professional and constantly waited our table for more drink orders when desired. Limited parking in the area but located very close to New Eltham station!

Had the loviest father’s day dinner yesterday. Everything was perfect, I went for the beef roast dinner and it was honestly one of the best roast I have ever had out! We also had the honey chicken wings for starter as well as a few other bits and the wings was incredible!!! Nachos also was 10/10! The drinks was perfect & the staff was very kind & attentive too! Loved every course and can’t wait to come back for another roast!!!

The best Sunday lunch i've had in a very long time. Everything was beyond perfect. Chef Anna is passionate about creating the perfect roast. Everything cooked from scratch and with love. Pope Street do the best roast dinner in the South East! My partner and I both had the Sunday chicken roast- the portion size is immense and it is so tasty. The gravy is delicious. The staff are really friendly especially the manager. Service was excellent. We sat upstairs in the function room as it was a bit quieter. Highly recommended for food.

If you’re looking for great food in Eltham this is the place to go, we shared the mixed kebab and it was great. tasty, roasting hot and the meat was juicy and cooked fresh. The chicken wings were a highlight for me I have eaten a whole plate full. The prices are reasonable, the restaurant itself is modern and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and a personal greeting and goodbye from Ozzie was a nice touch. I will be back again soon.

I just had the most amazing time at the restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious - I couldn't get enough of those tiger prawns and the porn star martini was to die for! 8 of us visited for the first time for dinner last sunday to celebrate my daughters birthday, Olly and his wonderful service made us all feel very welcome and special. I ordered the sharing meat platter board and everything on that board was so impressive! Meat was so tender, mountain full of everything and even my fussy kids wanted to try which is a great surprise! Im not usually a fan of chicken wings but ended up eating almost all of it😅 Thankyou for the grand birthday gesture when you brought out the cake aswell, we all throughly enjoyed our dinner so much, and the cocktails were great! We will be back for sure, thankyou👍🏻

2025 Review: The food is really good, and their customer service is decent as well. They are friendly as you would expect, and I thank them for their effort to make us feel welcome on the night. Ozi and the team are good. Total good experience. I'll be coming back to test the water again... especially the mocktail I was offered that I didn't take - I'm coming back for it, guys. Really enjoyed the food. More and better videos coming.
