Absolutely stunning service! Staff so friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious! I had the Mac & Cheese for a starter (listed as a side), then the Squash ravioli for main. My partner had the vegan bean burger. Wait staff were so attentive and friendly, and the food was exactly how we wanted it - even better! Sat by the window on a stormy day; fantastic views and smashing atmosphere. Would recommend any day of the week! Thank you, The George!

I had my works Christmas meal on Friday night. There was twenty people from our work, and the restaurant was packed to the rafters. The staff were helpful, friendly and delivered. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. I canāt praise them enough for their efforts on one of the busiest nights of the year. Well done to all the staff at the George. And have a happy Christmas.

We have been into this place a few times while on holiday, and every time the food is spot on. You order at the bar, to one of the friendly staff. Food took around 15-20 minutes to come out, and it was very hot. I had the double cheese burger, which had a hint of spice in, and was amazing. We also had the chicken wings, Ham, egg and chips, a fish finger sandwich. It's not the cheapest of places, nor is it the most expensive. Would I go there again 100% would I recommend 100%.

Good service and food. Not overly keen on people taking dogs in. Not to busy and had the added bonus of there being a discount on Monday.

Nice place. Polite, helpful people. Order at the counter. No servers. I had fish and chips. The fish was overcooked and dry. The chips were warm. My son had the chicken pie which was ok. I had initially ordered the steak pie from the menu, but it was not available on the day. The dessert was very good. Monday the food prices are discounted by my

1st time visiting in a number of years, as I was inn the area and had arranged to meet friends. Quick and efficient booking system, meant I had a table reserved. It was a Friday night, so relatively busy but still managed to get served our drinks quickly and they continued to flow regularly. Ordered food, which was delivered to our table after no more than a 30 minute wait. A very good sized, juicy & tasty burger was devoured fairly quickly! Overall was a good as I remembered from my very first visit...

Nautico Lounge

Rating: 4.4 (1638) Price Level:
Absolutely loved dining here, it's fairly pricey (then again most food places in Weymouth are) but the quality of the food is amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful, service was fabulous, and the place itself was lovely, definitely has a trendy feeling and very clean. 3 of us went for their breakfast at Ā£10.50 a head which was beautifully presented and super yummy! My daughter had the child's breaded chicken, beans and fries (Ā£7.10 if I remember correctly) which she also loved! Our food arrived fast, hot and none of us had any complaints at all. Would come back here in a flash and would recommend to anyone wanting a delicious meal š

One of the best breakfasts I've had. The Bacon and Hash Browns were delicious. Would also recommended the Cheese and Mozzarella Pannini. Very good customer service but It took a while to be served and we had to request sauces. A nice spot for lunch in Weymouth

Loved this quirky cafe/lounge, set in the old post office, in the centre of Weymouth. Food and drink available all day including breakfast items. Good service at this popular spot.

Went in for a drink then ended up staying for dinner, steaks were cooked to perfection (Medium-rare) Chips although slightly small on portion were lovely an crunchy as well as soft/fluffy on the inside. Chicken avocado salad was lovely and fresh, sauces were nice and bursting with flavour. 10/10, blown away for a random stop in, very fair pricing. The atmopshere is really cool, something new to look at where ever your eyes end up and the quality of food is great. Very polite staff, nice and caring about your visit. Certainly will be back.

I was on a one night walking break and feeling a little out of sorts. A lovely lady Hebe really looked after me and made me feel so welcome. I called in for a snack and coffee but booked a room. The amazing hospitality continued the next morning with delicious breakfast and Ellis really looked after me. Iāve only been away once on my own before and they really gave me confidence to do it again.

Weāve just returned from a wonderful two-night stay at The Smugglers Inn. On arrival, Lloyd greeted us and made us feel welcome instantly - before any money had even exchanged hands he made sure we were āfed and wateredā after our long drive. Nothing was too much effort for any of the staffā¦. Special mentions to Rafaela our waitress,Ella, and the bar-staff who really looked after us. The Sunday lunch was fantastic, great menu in general and a great breakfast spread! The room was spotless, cozy and well-equipped. It was my partners birthday and they went out of their way to make it special for him. We would definitely recommend staying here and we have already talked about returning one day. Thanks again to ALL the staff for making our stay so special. Sam and Phil

If you're looking for a cozy pub that delivers on all fronts, this is the place! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed Sunday afternoon. The Sunday roast here is absolutely top-notch. The portions are generous, and the quality is superb. What really sets this pub apart, though, is the service. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. Theyāre attentive without being intrusive and always make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. Karli served us today and Hebe greeted us. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hearty Sunday roast in a charming, welcoming setting!

Just back from a fabulous 2 nights here. What a lovely place, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going. We were made very welcome and the staff were so friendly. The food was lovely and my husband said especially the breakfast. I'm sorry I didn't get one of the managers names who spoke to us this morning, just after breakfast, but she was so nice and a credit to The Smugglers. We will be back.

Booked Bacaro for a private party in September 2024. Everything was excellent, from the location to the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. A truly great place. Chloe the manager was awesome, and her and her staff made the whole event really special. Go to Bacaro, you won't be disappointed!

Jurassic Rocks Cafe
S W Coast Path, Weymouth DT4 7SN, UK | Cafe P: 01305 561877
Rating: 4.4 (281) Price Level:
The hot rock night is the best thing I've done in Weymouth recently. The courses are amazingly presented, promptly too. The starter was a generous portion of pate, not the spoonful you'd usually get at a restaurant. The fillet steak was so juicy, and cooking it yourself is something really fun and different too. The cheeseboard usually comes with sides, but upon request, I was served only cheese and crackers. All the cheeses were tasty, and all had character. The restaurant is a seaside cafe in the day, so do expect the stereotypical plastic tablecloth and sauce caddy, but it still is amazing. Getting to the restaurant is a bit of a pain, it's a giant sliding door down some stairs. I just knocked on the window because it looked closed, but all was good.

Lovely Cafe. Great Service. Made me and my partner feel very welcome. Lovely view of the beach while eating breakfast. Went back multiple times on my vacation. Very good veggie breakfast. They even put a birthday candle on my partners breakfast. 10/10
Rating: 4 / 5
We went to get ice-cream and discovered they did steak nights. You need to book in advance, but can book for same day. You can opt to sit in or let them know you'd like sit outside overlooking the sea. The fish was cooked well. The steaks were delicious, served on a hot stone to cook to your preference with a side plate to decant onto. We didn't have pudding but the options were waffles, sundaes and cakes. No corkage, so bring your own alcohol. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would go again.

I was lucky enough to experience this cafe on a quiet sunny morning. Great service, great food with a stunning view of the bay. Couldn't ask for more! Definitely be returning š

Hatch on the Harbour
The Old Fish Market, 1 Custom House Quay, Weymouth DT4 8BE, UK | Restaurant P: Not available
Rating: 4.3 (128) Price Level:
Perfect seafood in a street food style. Table for two outside. Great menu balancing choice and simplicity. We had Scallops, half lobster, green beans and chips. Food quality was amazing. Atmosphere lovely by the harbour side on a busy sunny Sunday afternoon. We didnāt book so were lucky to catch a seat when we did. Service matched the street food vibe - pretty straightforward no airs and graces. Thereās no loos here but thatās no problem, thereās public toilets just round the corner. Place is attached to a fishmonger which is brilliantly stocked - we bought some great looking mackerel to take home and enjoy.
Rating: 5 / 5
A spontaneous and delicious supper on the harbour at Hatch. Whole lobster, barbecued to perfection and served with a generous bowl of fresh and homemade chips, and a lovely leaf, mango and pomegranate salad, washed down with a beer and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Reasonably priced (Ā£30 for the lobster+chips+salad) and served with love and enthusiasm.
Rating: 4 / 5
The restaurant is good, foods are nice, oyster is fresh. But price a bit high and space is small, only 6-7 tables available.
Rating: 5 / 5
We had a delicous time at The Hatch today, stopping for lunch on our way about town. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite of our crab, lobster, scallops, and padron peppers! The view across the harbour from our table was idyllic, and we received a warm welcome and friendly, attentive service from Anna. We'll be back for sure!
Rating: 4 / 5
Situated just by Weymouth Harbour, the small, cozy gazebo/terrace provided a delightful dining experience. The seafood was notably fresh, and the oysters, which stood out as the highlight of the meal, were exceptional. The fish and chips were well-prepared, boasting a perfectly crunchy exterior and tender interior. However, the lobster, although flavorful, was slightly overcooked. The scallops, unfortunately, were disappointingly tiny and lacked depth of flavor. Although these minor shortcomings, the overall meal was enjoyable, enhanced by the picturesque view and welcoming atmosphere.

Lovely location with views of the beach and sea. Staff are very friendly and attentive. We took advantage of the Ā£5 offer for any hot drinks and any dessert. The coffee was lovely as were the scones and red velvet.

the staff were so pretty and nice, the food was DELICIOUS like i cannot get over how amazing the salmon salad was. genuinely considering moving to weymouth just so this can become my regular cafe spot. also they gave us free drinks because the food took a little longer than expected - but only because it was so busy full of satisfied customers!

This is a fabulous shabby chic cafe. Very dog friendly. The staff are really helpful and chatty. The CHILLI is the BEST you will ever taste! I really enjoyed my veg ragout with spaghetti too, very tasty. Definitely returning whenever Iām in Weymouth. Might even come back just to eat here again āŗļø
Rating: 5 / 5
Itās a pretty little place with traditional touches. Lots of seating both downstairs and upstairs. With big bay windows there are gorgeous views over the beach. The afternoon tea must be booked 24 hours in advance! The cream team is delicious and quite a big portion too. They have a selection of different cakes at any one time so dessert is always in the menu. Friendly staff - highly recommended.

The Good Life Cafe looks out onto Weymouth beach and is a prime position for a snack. It has wooden floors and panelling and has something of a past times charm. My wife had tea and a second, and I had a fish finger sandwich and coffee. The fish finger sandwich was very good. We both enjoyed our meals.
