Lovely attentive team 💛 We would highly recommend. Homemade delicious food. Great vegetarian options. Great local pale ale. Definitely book a table in advance! They're very popular. Wonderful community spirit too.
Excellent pints of Palmers IPA straight from the barrel. This is a temporary arrangement, it's usually on hand pump. I enjoyed the experience of eating an extremely good steak, mushroom & ale pie, chips, peas & gravy from a cardboard box. I would say, however, that gravy and cardboard boxes aren't necessarily a good mix. Pleasant garden.
Good home cooked grub pies are very tasty,Service very good.Proper villiage pub.
Came across this pub by accident and so glad we did. Greeted with a big smile by the landlord who fitted us in for an excellent lunch. Huge portions great value in a real village pub with friendly locals and staff. Marvellous!
The pub was spotless, the staff were very friendly. The food was outstanding, definitely book a table you won't be disappointed.
