Needed somebody to sort a problem in a hurry (lost power to the garage where the oil boiler is located). Contacted Hastings Electrical after 9 pm on Friday and Dave was with us by 9:30 am next day. Problem was sorted by 11.

Coly Electrical have given us truly excellent service. They have been involved with the total refurbishment of our house, the electrical planning, advice and installation including the very successful supply and install of our solar panels, batteries etc. ALL the staff and owners have been a true delight to work with and have patiently explained the solar system. We are absolutely delighted with the finished product and did not hesitate to give the deserved 5 stars. If further information is required on their service I would be very happy to oblige.

Coly Electrical fitted an EV charger for us recently. Only a short time between quote and installation. It wasn't a straight forward install but Tom persisted and went above and beyond with the charger manufacturer on our behalf to sort everything out. Everything works perfectly and the price quoted is what we paid. Highly recommended and thanks again to Tom for all his help.

I have used Coly Electrical many times and Jon Ayres and his team have always done a good job. Lewin has recently installed power and first fix electrical wiring to an outbuilding. He was very efficient and helpful in advising a final layout and fittings which he will return to complete once I have finished the structure. Highly recommended.

Coly Electrical put in our whole electric supply for our recently new Barn conversion. The Guys were all so very attentive, professional, incredibly polite- we felt very grateful to have been recommended them. The work was so neatly done and they were always at the end of the phone if needed. Couldn't fault them and would very much recommend, you wouldn't be disappointed with their work.

Highly recommend - Coly Electrical re-wired my old and complicated flat at relatively short notice. Really mindful of my situation, budget, aims and availability. Lewin and Andy were fantastic - really friendly and great to have around. They worked really hard and did a fantastic job. As someone who lives alone I had no concerns. Date of visit 15/11/24.( New patient) I was really very anxious as it was my first time for treatment with a new dentist. I needed not to have had such a sleepless night worrying! I feel very stupid now because I was looked after so well by my fabulous team Dr.Jessica Scott and nurse Ellie. They understood my nervousness and immediately reassured me that I was going to be in safe hands. The treatment I received was quick and completely painless. Ellie was really lovely and kept reassuring me as the treatment progressed which was greatly appreciated. I have to visit again for a couple more longer appointments to prepare to have a gold crown fitting and I promise not to be such a baby next time! Having had such a good experience on my first visit has absolutely reassured me that I’m in very experienced and safe gentle hands. So I’m looking forward to my next appointment! Please pass on my thanks to Jessica and Ellie.

I recommend the dentist Rishi Naraidoo.. he is a very good dentist.. he really knows what he is doing and the visit with him was a pleasure.. I almost fell asleep while he was fixing my teeth.. he is very friendly and understanding.. he explained everything very well, how the treatment would be carried out, paying attention to the smallest details... I highly recommend it, it's really worth it!!

God ! Where do I start? From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the most amazing smile of Gemma and Georgina. You’re sat in a lovely listed building with a lot of history. The food ? Unholy ! Tempura oysters/normal oysters are the freshest I’ve ever had. Scallops are hand dived and served on a bed of sweet onion purée and puffed black rice for a crunch. The lobster served with fries and salad was divine, I have no idea what they do to their butter but it’s abysmally delightful and this is just lunch! I can imagine the dinner experience is incredible with the place full of positive energy and vibes. The chefs in the kitchen are very well trained by the chef-owner as well as the front of house team ran by Gemma. If you’re lucky you might even meet Mark and Teddy the Parrot ! The wine perfectly pairs with whatever dish you’re having, always ask for a recommendation as the guys know their wines. All in all I will always come here when I’m back in Lyme Regis. Unfortunately in Bournemouth we do not have such a hidden gem anywhere. Such a shame I can only give 5 stars as I would like to give them the whole Milky Way !

My boyfriend and I were holidaying in Lyme over the weekend, both from Birmingham, we have plenty of restaurants in the city… yet Millside is the best meal we have had so far in 2024! Such a beautiful setting and a intimate dining experience. Although a small menu for mains, the starters are varied. I tried the escargot which our waiter recommended - who knew snails tasted so good! My boyfriend had the half lobster and I tried rump steak, also for the first time. Both dishes were presented beautifully and provided explosions of flavour with each bite, I’ll be dreaming of this meal for weeks! Thank you for such a wonderful meal and such attentive service.

Dropped by for dinner, where I ordered the scallops, mackerel and rhubarb clafoutis. Everything was beautifully prepared. Saying that, it must have been an off night, as the kitchen team seemed to have encountered a few challenges when prepping the meals. But, it all ended well as the service team handled everything professionally resulting in both a comped dessert AND an extra dessert. All done voluntarily without me even having to bring up any of the issues myself. The only thing I would suggest for the future is it might be worth investing in an air purifier or fan to help move the air in the restaurant. Because it was pouring rain outside at the time, I noticed the space was locking in various odours from other guests such as BO, perfume and cigarette smoke. As a result, I found that I couldn’t really smell the dishes. As a fine dining establishment, I suspect it is preferred that such smells not interfere with the dining experience carefully curated by your team.

Amazing seafood in a very cozy location. It's close to the beach and you can reach it via a slightly hidden path that brings you pass the old mill. Very welcoming family business, I'd come back to any time.

We asked LAP to quote for a home EV charger after a friend recommended them. Arranging a qoute was easy and the quote itself came quickly and was competitive. Luke, who came to both quote and fit the charger was friendly and knowledgable. We are very happy with the home EV charger and would definately use LAP electrical again in the future.

Vincent has been my Electrician of choice since I became a Landlord, helping get my properties up to NIRC. He is reliable, a local Electrician, charges competitive rates and offers a no fuss service seemingly making every job a breeze for his customer's giving him a well earned 5 stars in my book. Recent jobs 2 ceiling fan replacements including building the things, and getting the hot water to heat up again in another property very quickly to the delight of the tenants.

Vincent was brilliant from start to finish. Super speedy arrival which was the most helpful thing when our whole home went down without power. An absolutely outstanding service from Chris and his two electricians. They worked on our house when we were away completing the tasks in the time that was arranged. How they managed to run wires/cables on coving and behind skirting boards was a marvel. They put all the furniture back in its place and left us with no mess to tidy up. We were expecting to have to plaster and decorate however this was not necessary. The two electricians who carried out the job even looked after our cat in our absence. Very highly recommended. Whilst I was away on holiday I rang Ricky Stubbs (owner/ partner) he not only arranged the work to be done, he was there unbelievably quick and turned up when he said and completed the work to an excellent standard. The client even told me of her gratitude and was very glad to have the issues sorted so promptly. I will be using Chris Stubbs and son again for sure. Very reliable and friendly.

Really pleased with the work carried out to install 2 x extractors and a PIV unit. The work was much more involved than first thought, and the poor guy was working in our loft on the hottest day of the year! We brought a house with 12 solar panels just over a month ago. We knew the panels were not serviced or cleaned since installed 10 years ago (2013) We reached out to DES Ltd who completed a full service and cleaning service.
