Very Friendly, Professional and Modern Vets. Had to book in our 8 year old dog for a "MOT" and to check a muscular injury. We managed to get an appointment quickly, he was seen to quickly on the day of the appointment and given a thorough check up and a good fuss for good measure! Prescribed a quick course of tablets for the muscle pain and within 3 days he was back to his usual mad cap self! Excellent value for money and this will certainly be our Vets for many years to come

Fantastic staff, prices are very reasonable and they took great care with my nervous Labrador. Couldn't recommend more!

Absolutely love these vets. Theyhave looked after my German Shepherd and my pug/jack Russell who has diabetes. The vets are excellent they adore animals and take their time to explain everything thoroughly. Nurses are very good, very helpful and caring. Receptionists are very helpful and understanding. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. Can't recommend highly enough.

Being new to the area, Lincoln Edge Vets were chosen purely on their positive reviews. Our dog was getting increasingly poorly and when contacted they registered and offered an appointment with minimal delay. It was clear that the Vets genuinely cared for our dog, and over the course of 2 weeks not only tried all options available but were always accommodating for short notice appointments. Unfortunately, it transpired that there was nothing they could do to help our dog and the decision was made, in the best interests of our dog, to put her to sleep. They were professional yet empathetic during a time of sadness to our family. Prioritising our needs over closing time of the Vets to ensure we had our chance to spend some final minutes with our pet. They couldn't have done more and it was appreciated. On collecting the ashes from the Vets, we were touched to find they had given sympathy cards from the practice complete with paw prints as a memento from our dog. Fur cuttings were also given which we weren't expecting but again were a nice and appreciated gesture. Cannot recommend Lincoln Edge enough. They have been outstanding and can see why they have only 5 star reviews. We're so appreciative of their help and support and made a very sad period that bit easier.

Jean-Benoit was extremely thorough and knowledgeable in explaining the surgical options for my toy poodle. He reassured me by discussing every possible option before making any decisions. In the end, my dog did not require surgery. Since my insurance did not cover my dog’s condition, I was concerned about the costs. However, the prices I was quoted were very reasonable compared to other clinics. Thank you for taking the time to assess my dog and for offering future options. I will definitely return if my dog needs your services in the future.

We cannot recommend JB and his team enough. The care shown to not only our dog but to us is beyond belief. We received comprehensive details on an email, then both before and after our dog's procedure, we received a very detailed explanation on what was going to happen, and what was found. Everything was explained in detail. Such a lovely guy, and his staff are wonderful too. Beautiful clean premises, the latest in veterinary research and equipment coupled with the care we couldn't have been happier with the service. We shall certainly recommend to anyone requiring surgery on their small animals.

What am amazing practice of professionals. JB and Helen are so kind compassionate. My older husky girl needed laryngeal tie back surgery as she was struggling to breath. Everything was explained clearly I knew what to expect the service was truely beyond 5 star. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending these to people and using them again myself ( hopefully not needed though lol)

Jean-Benoit Lefebvre and his superb team are unbelievably first class; fantastic and so very skilled. JB is an acknowledged expert, his expertise and devotion saved our dog's life. Our gratitude to this masterful surgeon is immense. JB goes over and aboard the call of duty, his work is impeccable, he is just the absolute best !!

As new pet owners our experience at Welton Medivet could not have been more positive. Helpful and friendly and made our cat feel at home. Excellent! Keep up the good work :)
Rating: 5 / 5
Very happy with the incredible customer service at Medivet Welton. The receptionist was caring, compassionate and efficient, which is so important when you have a poorly cat, and you yourself are feeling stressed because of this. I got an appointment swiftly. The vet we saw was incredibly knowledgeable treated my cat, and answered all the questions I had regarding how to get him to drink more and about future treatment. Really very happy. I'd been dreading finding out the cost, as, like with most people, money is tight, but the treatment did not cost as much as I had been expecting either, which was a welcome relief.

Friendly establishment. Not the greatest environment but it has been improved with the recent decorating. Rarely anyone on reception, but someone comes after a while when one presses the bell. Great experience with Jess the vet nurse today. Very kind and friendly

Medivet in Welton, Lincoln, went above and beyond to help my pet with an emergency Saturday morning appointment even though we were new to them and had only just joined the practise. Very friendly and helpful reception staff (Jess) and very efficient vet.

When I have rung for an appointment I have always got one within a few hours. We live nearest to Newport but the last few times have been to Skellingthorpe. Love it there - easily accessible, lots of parking and no hanging around.

I have been with The Veterinary Hospital for a few years now and was so glad to find their Skellingthorpe hospital. It's further away for me but has such a personal feel to it, Sophie the vet, and Natalie R today looked after Bruno, who is a worrier, and our new dog Sasha with so much care, that in bigger surgeries is often missing. Do give it a try if you, or your pet might prefer calm and friendly. Plenty of parking, nice dog walks nearby if you want to stretch your legs, and then you could go to doddington hall after for a coffee. Almost a day out!!! Thank you to the whole team for being fab. Bruno 🐾 and Sasha 🐾

appointment usually in good time . They have always seen us straight away when urgent. Have a new satellite at Skellingthorpe. So great if you are that end of city. Separate waiting area for cats at main hospital. Do provide out of hours vet but it obviously costs a lot more.

We sadly had our Cocker Spaniel put to sleep today at the Witham St.Hughes practice. The vet Lizzy was amazing. So gentle with her and kind to her and us. I can't thank Lizzy enough she made an unbearable situation bearable. An amazing vet and compassionate human being. Thank you so much.

I registered my ageing cat with Park View when we moved to this area 4 years ago and have been more than satisfied with the service we have received during Lucy's final years. Friendly, courteous staff - both admin and clinical - and I loved the dog-free waiting area for cats. The annual pet care plan is an absolute bargain, especially if your pet needs regular prescriptions as this entitles you to a discount. Recently had to take Lucy on that last, sad one-way trip and the care both she and I received was so warm and kind. My beloved cat had the gentlest possible end and I was cared for, too. Thank you, Andrea and Sarah. I have just taken on the care of two homeless middle-aged moggies and will be registering them with Park View today.

I had to take the hard decision due to the xl bully ban for compulsory neutering. Endless days of research and then I found Pegasus vets, I went through every single review they had on multiple websites, I knew this was the place even though it was a long drive from London I was happy to go through it for Tyson. After getting there 2 hours early I was greeted warmly, a quick drive around Lincoln and I was back. I couldn’t be happier I was treated nicely and so was Tyson. They showed him love and affection he was shaking at first until they settled him down.when the time came they bought out a blanket and a quick injection a few minutes later he was starting to fall asleep, it made me happy I was there during that process, it makes the dog more comfortable to know it’s owners there. I spent 15mins with him on the blanket till he fell asleep.he was off to theatre room for his neutering. 3 hours later and he was ready to be collected. It’s been day 3 and I have 0 complaints. He has had no problems or any complications, no swelling no bruising and no sign of pain. Pegasus vets thank you all as a team and especially Dr Simone he’s done a great great job. No matter the distance this will be my go to vet and I will recommend to all xl bully owners this is the place. A lot of scary stories out there put me off for months but I couldn’t be happier with this place. Highly highly recommend Thanks team Loads of thanks from Tyson as well

I can't rate these vets enough. I have referred so many customers to them. First of all, it's family owned and ran. It's not incorporated by the likes of medivet where money is their only concern. Simonè the small animal veterinarian, is simply amazing. He has had to amputate one of my cats' front legs after having had an accident. The care and dedication from all the team were second to none. Barbara, the larger animal veterinarian, equines came out to my mare who had injured her eye. I wasn't charged through the roof to travel 5 mins up the road. I also was not manipulated or lied to in order to pay for a small bottle of treatment and was instead told to use the plasma after taking my mares' bloods. I'm also very grateful for their full support of my dog breeding. They helped and supported me in gaining my 5 star licence because they know how much dedication, experience, and love into what I breed. So much so that one of their friends brought a puppy from me. Most recently Simonè has spayed both one of my cats and also my retired cockapoo. Both surgeries have gone incredibly well. The after care is amazing, and the pricing is fair.

Pegasus Vets have looked after our Miniature Dachshund Ranger for coming up to a year now, and, more recently, our new Miniature Dachshund pup, River. Every step of the way, Pegasus has exceeded our expectations, clearly showing a love for all animals and their care. From their professional attitude to very reasonable prices and even complimentary checkups, they go above and beyond for your pet’s needs. I couldn't recommend Pegasus more and thank you for looking after our little buddies!

After a friend highly recommended Pegasus, I gave them a call because our cat had a huge abscess. They were absolutely fantastic on the phone, registered us immediately, and booked an appointment within an hour. The staff were all so friendly and the vet was wonderful with Denis. After moving to the area over a year ago we had to leave behind a lovely family run vets where we used to live. I really wasn't happy with the local nationally run vets we had used since moving so I'm beyond happy that we've now found Pegasus vets that is another family vets that obviously care so much for animals. We would 100% highly recommend. Denis sends a BIG thank you to you all, he's feeling so much better now!

My dogs are new patients, seen a few months ago for their jabs, my Scottie needed her teeth cleaning, and the bad ones removing. Very kind, caring service, Ian even offered to put my dog in the car. Very happy with the service, and price. Excellent vet.

We've been satisfied customers of VH for over 20 years - for both cats and dogs. The latest addition to our family was in for a small op yesterday and is already back to his usual self! Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic, can't recommend them strongly enough. I'm disabled and neurodiverse, and don't have any support other than myself, and my pet. When my let fell ill I was absolutely distraught, and all the staff at The Veterinary Hospital were incredibly kind and compassionate. They helped me to understand what had happened, how to treat, and how long recovery would take. It sometimes feels like when you ask for help, nobody is listening... Not here. That's the difference for me. It's not flashy ads and marketing designed to fleece you of your cash, it's proper, honest, down to earth Veterinary care. Thanks to everyone at the Veterinary hospital.
Rating: 4 / 5
A great vet based in skellingthorpe with partner veterinary hospital on Newport. Our cat was in good hands here. Professional, friendly service with optimum care and after care advice. I was very surprised by the estimated cost of our cats surgery which totalled £1000 for two teeth removed and ears checked and treated with drops. This seemed very expensive but I don't know how this compares to other vets. I guess they're all expensive nowadays.

We have registered all our pets at this Vet Hospital, initially with our first pet following my parents recommendation (they had taken their dog there). I can honestly say the service and care has been excellent whether it’s been a regular appointment or an emergency. I would highly recommend this practice.

I have nothing but praise for the service Mr Owen snd his team have given over the years to my dogs. Most recently my friend Dylan passed away but he was always given the best care in Mr Owens hands. He treated him with respect and care from 6 weeks to 16 years of age. When if he does retire it will be a sad day for pet owners but one that will be well deserved and earned 🙏

Always fantastic service and looked after all my pets over the years but just this bank holiday my dog needed a blood test and I got a call 8pm Saturday night to say he needed some tablets ASAP and mr Owen was at the surgery and we could go and get them,He’d gone in just to see if our results were back. I will be eternally grateful for the excellent service we always receive and it will be a very sad time when mr Owen retires xx
