Rob, Steve and Dave have just re-roofed our bungalow.They have done an excellent job and their craftsmanship and attention to detail are amazing.They have done the full job with very little disruption and are noticeably clean and tidy as the work is done with a thorough clean up every night before leaving. They have been very helpful in offering advice and answering any questions that we may have had. The most obvious thing is the fantastic quality of their work and I cannot recommend them highly enough and would not hesitate in having them back to do any other roofing work in future. A thoroughly genuine and likeable bunch of blokes.

If your after peace of mind and a top quality job doing look no further than Rob Girdman and sons . I chose these guys after months of research and looking for recommendations online and also word of mouth. They fully replaced a 25 year old garage roof completely with rubber, including boards and fascia's and didn't skimp on the materials , they were all top grade. They also reroofed an old shed , that's really on its lasts legs , but the lads made it look like brand new , even fitting some bespoke soffits that they made and get this painted at no extra cost . They then went on to replace all my soffits,barge boards and fascia's on the main house , they replaced all the rotten wood and needed to do some additional work on the felt as it fell apart when they tried to attach it , but they took this in their stride and the whole job was finished on time . The results are fantastic and the craftsmanships second to none. They are a friendly bunch , that will respect your property and tidy up as they go along .I would highly recommend this firm to anyone that wants a top class job , that lasts and looks brilliant .....Rick C .

High Quality Craftsmen & Top Blokes Rob Girdham and his two sons, David and Steve, did a superb job from start to finish. They were quick to come and look at the problem and had it fixed within 48 hours of their first visit. They turned up when they said they would and made sure their work space was kept as tidy as possible while working. They explained everything they were doing and took pride in their work making sure to match the new tiles as closely as possible to the originals. The end result is really high-quality and I couldn’t ask for it to be done any better. I highly recommend R Girdham Roofing to anyone thinking of using them.

Very happy customer having received superb service from Rob Downie and his work crew. We needed our roof repairing and a small outhouse roof replacing with new guttering. Rob Downie arranged to come round the following day to work out a quote. He arrived and was extremely helpful, listening to what we wanted and advising us on the best and most economical way to do it – which was so refreshing to come across, plus he explained what would happen if he was to get the job. We received a detailed quote and happily accepted it. Work started the following week – the 2 men were absolute stars – working quickly and professionally. Rob Downie checked on their progress and work too. We are so happy with the repaired roof and the newly tiled one and would recommend their work and service to everyone. They left the place clean and tidy too!

Really pleased with the service and work from Rob and his lads. From the start he was upfront about the weather being against him all summer and that work would take time to start. Absolutely true to his word him and his lads turned up on the date agreed and did an absolutely cracking job re-felting two flat roofs and solving a horrible draft problem the previous absolute butt nugget had caused. We are all very pleased with the work done and would not hesitate to recommend him!

Great service from Rob Downie and Dean. Professional from start to finish. I phoned for a quote for a replacement flat roof on a big extension to the house. Rob came the following day as promised and the quote was emailed over to me when expected. Rob and Dean were very polite, explained everything in detail and asked me if I had any questions I needed answering which is not heard of nowadays!! Absolutely brilliant, Reroofed my house by 2pm, the team work together really well, each lad knows what the other is doing so works very well for them, they kept clean and tidied up as they went. I wasn't expecting to have them tidy as I was willing to go around after and tidy up. Look no further than this company. A big thank you goes out to Lewis, Carl and Dale for the excellent job they have done on my roof. From quote to carrying out the reroof on my property it has been seamless. All old tiles and felt removed and new felt fitted and water tight in a day. New tiles up and mostly fitted the next day. Job would have been completed that day had I not wanted the chimney rebuilt. All guttering cleared and cleaned. All mess cleared up. Chuffed to bits with the new roof and chimney Thanks also to Steve and Mike Jones the builders and Rich and his team of scaffolders. I cannot recommend them all highly enough an absolute pleasure dealing with everybody.
