Looks and is basic, good clean cheap. You can sit and eat in again since Covid on one of the long communal bench tables. I had a vegetable noodle dish with green tea, both were very nice. I have never had anything here which I wish I had not had later, that often happens with over intensively enhanced food flavour, which is nice at the moment. This food is nice at the moment and is nice later.

We rolled up after a panto at Tonbridge school and decided to eat in. The service was very welcoming and the young man serving was very knowledgable and helped us to try some great new dishes. The food came out on on plates accompanied with cutlery and was delicious. We were happy with the variety quality and presentation of all our dishes. They even gave us a doggy bag as the portion sizes were generous. The canteen style seating added to the friendly atmosphere. Overall a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

I love it here. I have been ordering here for the last 9 years or so on & off. (I don't eat any other take away food & fast food at all and picky with the quality of my food and don't compromise) Despite it looks like a small take away place, the quality of the food is really good, portions are generous indeed. Their Ramen Soup are absolutely wonderful, no other take away places all around this area offer full main meal size of Ramen Soup except tiny little bowl size. Although I have "my usual" to order on regular basis, I heard from my friends that they speak highly of the food here. If its cooked with Love & smile as well, that's even more bonus. Popped in on my way to work as it was a cold foggy morning and needed an early morning pick me up. Ordered a small hot chocolate which was made and served in about 30 seconds flat so very good service. Turned my gloomy start to the day into a good start. The hot chocolate wasn't exactly cheap at £3.10, but that's just the cost of things now days. Incredible flavour and will definitely be back on dark and dingy mornings throughout the coming winter.

Extremely lovely staff who always perk up when spoken to and always make time to have a chat if it’s not too busy. The coffee is very pleasant and fresh, and I the croissants are heavenly.

Lovely place with very friendly service! Exactly what you’d expect from a traditional English cafe and very good menu choice (including build your own breakfast). Food was hot and delicious! And the best part is they have a mr whippy machine so you can have an ice cream for dessert! Prices were on the higher side but still reasonable.

Always welcoming. The best food at a great price. Best milkshakes and in town! As trying to eat healthier, they were more than happy to change a meal up for me, replacing chips with salad. Very tasty. Their jacket potatoes are great too. Happy to do food to takeaway as well.

Our favourite neighbourhood cafe serving traditional English breakfast and brunch menus. Nothing fancy, but I can say their burgers, chips and spaghetti are unbeatable. Weekly visit is a must! Staff is extremely attentive and cheerful. A great pleasure to recommend.

This wonderful cafe has to be of the most child friendliest places in the UK. Tucked up on a side street in Tonbridge I only found it because I googled cheap places to eat while on a day trip to the town. The children's meals were wholesome and delicious and altogether perfect. I had a fluffy baked potato and prawns in a delicious mayonnaise with a beautiful side salad. It was all a great eating experience for a family of noisy hungry children! And the staff are very friendly and obviously love having children in to eat. They also make a proper mug of tea. I can strongly recommend Jimmy's Cafe. The photo doesn't do the potato justice. I was so hungry and the freshly cooked smell enticed me to dig in before I had taken the picture. It really was top notch yummy!

I don’t know why I had missed this nice place as a local. The menu is nothing fancy, but food is hot and freshly made to order. Price is incredibly cheap. I bet it’s one of the cheapest places to eat in Tonbridge.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki, pork dumplings, spicy squids rings and a mango bubble tea. I have to say that those dumpling are the best dumplings I have ever tasted in my life and I've eaten alot of dumplings in my 23 years. Seriously, buy the dumplings. The chicken was nice too, not as good as wagas chicken teriyaki, but really hit the spot, rice was really smooth and lovely mouth feel. The squid rings I wish weren't breaded but tasted really nice and I would defo order again. I tried bubble tea because my friend said to try it, I wasn't a fan so gave it to get and she said it was really nice and can't fault it. All round, I am suppose to be on a diet, but I really think this place cured all my cravings and I am highly satisfied. Would defo order again. (Perhaps when I'm not on a diet) 😅

Came here back in February I think it was. Me and my wife both had ramen, pretty affordable and tasted great. We really enjoyed the tuna sushi though, we'll eventually be back. The fellow behind the till was very pleasant too.

Their bubble tea is always good but their food is the best. It's good value for money and always one of those dishes that never look big but your stuffed at the end. Staff are always nice and friendly. With two quite picky daughters, this place never fails to satisfy their hunger!

Excellent value for money. Good range of food from good quality Lamb Madras, Thai curry and a number of Chinese dishes. Black Forest dessert and ice creams also included. All options were topped up (which from other reviews was once a problem). Service was attentive - we never had to wait for anything. This is the first time visiting and will certainly be back and have recommended to friends.

Top marks for this fantastic restaurant! Went there with the work lot for an early dinner... The food was hot, fresh and delicious and the staff were continuously topping it up and keeping the buffet area clean and tidy. The selection was just incredible and it was quality stuff too... No different from a decent Chinese takeaway. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful and the owner/manager dealt with a situation with gypsies refusing to pay in a calm and professional manner. The price was extremely reasonable too. I really cannot find any fault whatsoever with this restaurant and was very impressed! I rarely rate any establishment 5 stars but this one definitely deserves it!

Another coffee shop wasn't really a suprise in Tonbridge, thankfully Costa is my favourite of the three big chains (no names mentioned). Popped in today for a bit of lunch and a drink. Service was really quick despite a queue. Got the pigs in blankets panini/roll, and my favourite, the black forest hot chocolate. Probably the nicest present one I have had and I've been having these hot chocolates since they fist came out.

This is my favourite local branch of Costa. The staff are all so friendly, They go above and beyond to deliver great service. I’m always impressed by the energy and enthusiasm the team have here.They have nailed the successful running of the shop, fast paced, always on top of cleaning and the atmosphere is always warm cosy. Highly recommended a visit.

To be honest, I had a salted caramel frappe but my mum had a flat white but firstly it was to milky but second of all the size was as big as a normal coffee so it was way to big for a flat white!!! Service was great, lovely ladies and good seating.

Great Chinese takeaway. We have gone here for the past years and food is one of best Chinese takeaways have ever had and I'm not a big takeaway fan! Not sure what other reviewers have had but thoroughly recommend Singapore rice noodles, satay chicken on skewers, General Tso Chicken is fabulous, their chow mien is good too. I also find that they have some Japanese starters, katsu curry and teriyaki dishes on their menu, which is great. And Love Eat started doing prawn crackers too!

Best Chinese takeaway in tonbridge, always come back here . The food comes in good portions and has a lot of protein compared to other takeaways which sometimes pack dishes with vegetables. The food is not greasy either, recommend the laksa it tastes very authentic.

This shop is recently renovated and it’s my first visit after they reopened. The staff and chefs are Chinese so I ordered chow mien, and I was not disappointed. Piping hot rice vermicelli with lots of flavour, and the prawn toasts were crispy. At this price I cannot ask for more. The till lady was friendly and was delighted when she knew I speak Chinese. We chatted a bit while waiting, and it wasn’t long, around 5 minutes my order was ready.
