Top Places and Services in Staplehurst, Kent

The more glamorous of the two pubs in Hollingborne, but not the friendliest. The staff were nice enough but the beer was cloudy. The food was good when we got our mains, but the 'bar nibbles' were underwhelming, neither the whitebait nor the calamari were very nice. The steak and lamb were both very good and well presented. The bill had a service charge added.

brilliant visit this weekend, last minute booking with my family. the food was really good, but the service was even better! very attentive staff but with a bit of personality! always kept us topped up with drinks and happy to recommend items on the menu, the staff were also really good with my sons egg allergy and made adjustments so he could have what he wanted.

Cannot fault the food, service, drinks and experience.

Took a friend for his Birthday, Sunday Roast lunch. Had starters, mains and desserts, could not find a fault.
The waitress who served us was fabulous, friendly and accommodating, again could not have asked for better service, and could not fault. Loved the extra Happy Birthday plate and made the meal a proper celebration!

The ambience is lovely pub feel and relaxed.
Looking forward to visiting again soon, definitely worth the half hour drive, would love this too be my local.
