Wow is all I can say, as a qualified chef I'm amazed at the quality and price! The service was outstanding and the food really is to die for. Book and you will not be disappointed. The negative comments on here are very polar opposite of the service and food we received. Outstanding 10/10 it's so lovely to come to a proper village pub and have the atmosphere of a village pub, the locals are so lovely here just like the staff here. We will be back, by far the best food on the Marsh!!

First time visiting and will definitely be back. Food was amazing and great value. And Nala the doberman is stunning (and the little one who's name i can't remember). Proper family run country pub!

Very nice staff and the food was amazing, overall was a really nice time having sunday roast at this pub. Would definitely recommend, especially for groups of people

Really enjoyed our vist to Shepherd and Crook great Atmosphere so friendly and welcoming...lovely home cooked food ....Really enjoyed it I had Liver and bacon and onions mash potatoe and veg....the liver melted in my mouth it was all freshly made...definitely going again .
