Glad we found this place! Proper country style pub, friendly staff and food was excellent! Already planned our next visit!

We have eaten here a few times and has always been very good. This visit was a Sunday lunch for nine people outside, and although most of the food was of good quality as usual and the staff very pleasant. Those of us that had the garlic lamb were disappointed as the meat was tough and bland. Three knives had to be returned as they were rusty and dirty and a glass had a crack in it. We were disappointed this time but will definitely return. It's a lovely old pub, and up until now the food and service has been excellent.

Visited here for my Birthday after a recommendation from years ago. Wish I had visited a long time ago. This is a fantastic pub/restaurant, family run, three generations!!
Somehow we left without paying a tip… so we will be making it our mission to go back ASAP 😀.

We had a delicious lunch, the service is very efficient and the staff kind and friendly. The food is delicious, including the "special of the day". The atmosphere is warm and cosy. The coffee was really good.
Absolutely recommended.
