We visited this dental practice after my son chipped his front tooth in a fall at school. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly and calm receptionist who made us feel at ease. Our appointment started right on time, and we were greeted by the wonderful Dr. Maddy. She was amazing with my son, helping him feel comfortable and relaxed during the exam. She explained the treatment plan thoroughly and answered all our questions, making us feel fully supported. My son was genuinely happy to meet Dr. Maddy and her efficient team. I highly recommend this practice – they’re incredibly helpful, kind, and professional.

Very friendly and non judgmental staff, receptionist very happy to help register my daughter and book her first dental appointment (9 months old) treated us so well and as individuals with plenty of advice for the babies teeth that are coming through thick and fast. All staff were very accommodating and made us feel at ease and comfortable. Left feeling very positive and confident in coming back for further appointments in the future. Great first time experience for the baby, no pressure nor forceful.

The staff at Kentish Smiles Clinic are amazing. They made our appointments feel so friendly and calm, my kids were abit apprehensive at the beginning of the appointment; but the staff made the appointment so fun and joyful, in the end my kids wanted to stay. I will most definitely be recommending this dentist. Thank you again.

I recently had the opportunity to experience afternoon tea at Twig and Spoon, and it was a delightful experience. The setting is beautiful, with a charming outdoor patio and a cozy indoor dining room. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is excellent. The afternoon tea itself was delicious. The selection of finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries was extensive and varied. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the presentation was lovely. The tea selection was also impressive, with a wide variety of loose-leaf teas to choose from. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Twig and Spoon. It is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with friends or family. I highly recommend it!

A great spot to catch up with friends over cake & coffee. Beautifully decorated for Christmas & staff so welcoming & helpful. My only grumble was that the cake was a little dry, I’ve had better there before. But still delicious & edible.

We had an afternoon tea here today and what a wonderful time we had. Our service was provided by Danielle today. She was so attentive, so smiley, couldn't do enough for us and was genuinely the most lovely lady. She made us feel so relaxed and made our visit really special; she also included my 4 year old in every interaction, got her a cushion to sit her up a bit higher and comfier and made her laugh and smile. This is my second experience here and my mothers 7th. Every time it exceeds expectations and is such a magical experience. Plenty of yummy and beautifully presented food, warm, cosy environment with such a beautiful lay out. Thank you Danielle. We hope to see you again.

Great food, lovely staff and a well maintained beer garden with a play area for the kids. Always busy when we go. They often do events/ live music which are well worth a visit.

A very cute pub. I have visited this venue twice (& have sat in the pub garden on both occasions so cannot comment on the inside) but have enjoyed it very much! The staff are nice enough, with a friendly laid back atmosphere, I would definitely visit again! The car park is a reasonable size right next to the pub garden, with plenty of seats & a climbing frame for little ones.

Went for a light meal after walking along the river. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. Sandwich options were a bit restricted ( 3 options ), thankfully we all found one we liked. Thought £12 was a bit pricey for a sandwich with fries ( usually pubs serve them in a small ramekin) . But when they brought the food out there was plenty there, a nice big sandwich, a bowl of fries and a decent side salad. The time of day we were there plus the weather meant that it was quiet there , however I'm sure it gets a lot of custom normally. Would recommend to others.

Lovely old pub by the river. Lovely food and friendly staff. A little expensive but worth it for the quality and location. Lovely atmosphere inside. We sat in the bar, I would advise booking if you want to sit in the restaurant. We will be back as there is so much tasty looking food on the menu.

I was with a group of dear friends for a Birthday Lunch on the 6th November. The pub was clean, warm and very tastefully decorated. We were greeted warmly and shown to our lovely table. Th service from Jannis our waiter was fantastic. He was friendly, charming and with a touch of humour. He was skilled and knowledgable about the menu and advised on our choices when asked. It was a lovely main- absolutely delicious and gorgeous dessert- quite unique! The chefs know what they are doing! Will be visiting again and will recommend to friends. Thank you x

First time here. In a new Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant my order is always the same: Lamb Vindaloo + Garlic Naan Chutneys if available. Why? Because it takes some skill to master the traditional dishes, especially the Vindaloo. Made correctly it is a wonderful mixture of spices that combine to 'party in your mouth'. Made badly it is just 'hot' and difficult to enjoy. The Palace Of India excelled here. The lamb was fat free and tender (some restaurants don't bother to trim the meet but here it was lean). The spices were in a good balance. Really enjoyed a curry that was not boosted with salt or sugar which I can't stand (hello London!!) Palace of India passed my Vindaloo test with flying colours! I now trust them with other dishes and look forward to coming again soon. My brother had an interesting dish with citrus fruit in it. Rare to find fresh ingredients these days. The place was small but not cramped, being set in a tiny UK village I get that space is at a high cost locally. We sat by the window for a pleasant view. Toilets are upstairs, if you are disabled this may be an issue but they were clean and well maintained. Parking is fairly easy, we had roadworks blocking the road but you can park nearby if you don't mind a little walk or outside if lucky! Food came fresh, waiters very friendly. IMPORTANT!! For the first time in AGES we had a bill WITHOUT a service charge already added. I LOVE this! I will never leave a tip for places that do that. Palace of India just charged for the food so we rewarded them with a 20% tip. Total meal cost for 2 with tip 50 quid. We shared a starter, had a meal each with one rice, one naan and 2 papadums. The menu is varied and has some original dishes for sure. I would like to try them in the future. I cannot think of any negatives. This review is NOT sponsored I just love a good curry and these guys supplied it. Would I suggest any improvements? Maybe a slightly larger table? If you are in a group you will want to book as the place is on the cosy side. Perfect for a romantic meal for 2 though! Check the photos, food tastes like it looks. I don't give out 5 star reviews willy nilly but nothing was bad here, we had a small meal and everything was good. NB: pix have copyright info on to discourage people 'borrowing' them for free..

It's busy so noisy at peak times and the parking spaces are small for modern size cars but ... none of that matters with lovely staff, great coffee, and tasty food. It's not the cheapest cafe but it's cheaper for what you get as it has quality ingredients and quality staff... I was meeting a client as it is a convenient location with parking.... given the service and food etc I'll be meeting clients here again...

Having passed here hundreds of times in the car, it was about time I stopped in for a full English. I was pleasantly surprised with how large the café is, and that it was relatively packed too considering it's quite out of the way. The decor is really lovely, and it feels cosy inside, and you can bring dogs inside too. The staff were great, and really friendly. We had the Teal Breakfast with black pudding added on, all the elements of the breakfast were perfectly done to my liking, and the egg yolk was still runny too! Will definitely be back for another fry up at a later date
